Experience modern, coastal Italian cuisine at Fort Lauderdale's newest hot spot, La Fuga. Chef Michael Mayer infuses local South Florida flavors with classic Italian staples to create a fusion of crave-worthy, contemporary dishes.

La Fuga, (Italian for "the escape,") is nestled in the heart of the Kimpton Shorebreak, named in homage to the location’s historic beginnings. The newly renovated Kimpton Shorebreak occupies a unique space in Fort Lauderdale, originally opened as The Escape Hotel in 1949.

La Fuga pays tribute to it's origin story in name and also in atmosphere. Featuring midcentury design, and a laid-back vibe, the indoor-outdoor dining room includes views of the hotel's scenic courtyard and provides access to a rooftop pool overlooking Fort Lauderdale’s intercoastal.

We're serving all your favorites including a made-to-order Frittata Station, Pasta and Pizza Bar, Charcuterie Station and a variety of Chef's selected desserts. Enjoy Bottomless Mimosas for $25 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, or dive into our extensive wine list. Brunch is served from 11AM to 3PM, with a final seating at 2PM. Please note: Brunch is $65 per person for adults and $35 per person for kids under 12, excluding tax and gratuity. A credit card is required to secure your reservation and a cancellation fee will be charged for missed reservations or cancellations within 48 hours.

                                                                          The service and food were excellent. We shared the grilled octopus appetizer. The flavors were wonderful. My wife has the snapper and I had the swordfish. they were both delicious. We will be back!

                                                                          It’s a 2 location experience! Both really good. The food and service were really top notch. Home made bread with flavor and texture and a dipping sauce that kept me ordering more. Cannot forget the food! Delicious! Upstairs view for drinks afterwards was romantic, fun, and just perfect! Great evening! Thanks to the Chef and crew for a wonderful evening!

                                                                          Service was amazing. Very rarely is a bottle of wine serviced. Lasagna and bolognese were better than anything we’ve experienced in Italy!! Bravo!!

                                                                          We had the best time at La Fuga. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. We loved the mussels and octopus appetizers, Ceaser salad and oxtail cacio Pepe risotto. Highly recommend

                                                                          Excellent Italian food! Our waiter JAMES took really good care of us.  The food was amazing. I had the Bolognese the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the lobster ravioli and he said it was incredible. The tiramisu was tops! Thank you to the chef for making my experience wonderful and for coming to my table this week to be about my brutal allergies. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to coming back again!
