Chef Manrico's passion is inspired by the love for his home region of Pescara, Abruzzo. The flavors, scents and the colors of the neighborhood, ‘Borgo Marino’, is where his inspiration came from. Cooking in the early mornings on the fishing boats, savoring the smell of the land and sea is where it all began. Great experience, great food and knowledge customer service. If you want real italian food experience this is one of the places you should consider to experience.

The pasta was cooked to perfection - delicious, flavourful, perfect texture! Homemade tomato sauce is to die for. Server was friendly, helpful - the best. Second time, definitely not the last! Need to return to try their pizza. Highly recommend - worth the price for sure.

Good decor, very clean. We arrived early (7:10, our reservation was for 7:30) but our gracious server reshuffled tables and accommodated us. We w3ere able to enjoy a good conversation over a bottle of wine and didn't feel rushed. When our pasta dishes arrived they were as advertised, fresh pasta made in house and tasted awesome! Overall , the experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

Our waiter/bartender was very friendly and took into account the note I left for the reservation regarding making a drink for the birthday girl. She also personalized my drink, was attentive to our table and funny. Everything was delicious, definitely will be coming back.

I’m glad I came across this restaurant! The food was amazing! We went for a birthday dinner and it was perfect. Do not skip on the cannoli or the Panna Cotta! I will come back 100%

We drove from WhiteRock to have this Truly incredible dining experience! If you want AUTHENTIC Italian cuisine and not BP style pasta this is the place!!! Get a babysitter if you have young children and want an adult night out ;) Our server Ananda was super knowledgeable and personable. She made my Girlfriends birthday one to remember!!! GF had the gnocchi which was divine and my Pacherri Pistachio pasta was the BEST cream based one I have ever have had, bar none!!! Incredible food, drinks, service! Support this “mom n pop” Burnaby GEM!!! You won’t be sorry!

Why do they ask on the reservation if it is a special occasion (it was our wedding anniversary) and then do nothing to acknowledge it?!? A simple Happy Anniversary on arrival would have made me happy. Now I don’t think we will be back. In the past 1.5 years we have been 4 times and really liked this place.
