La Forchetta

Our first experience at La Forchetta. The restaurant was very nicely decorated. The food and the service were outstanding. We would return for a special occasion in the future. Not a place we would go for a casual meal as it is a little pricey.

Excellent dinner, great service, lovely decor, COVID-19 precautions handled very well.

The meatballs with rose sauce are heavenly! I tend to just go for the simple dishes (e.g., spaghetti and meatballs, gnocchi and bolognese) and they are simply mouthwatering.

We were impressed with all the Covid measures in place. This is the first place I've eaten at this far that had sanitizer at each table, which was appreciated. Food was great and will be coming back to try out some other dishes.

They took all the right steps for our safety. I felt very comfortable eating there. Food and stuff or excellent!

Food was good but service was very slow and dinner took quite a while to get to the table. It would be nice if some bread was offered

Good food and restaurant was very focused on hygiene preparation so customers feels safe and comfortable. The only complaint was the dessert I want wasn’t ready... may be next time :)

Panna cotta was absolutely delicious.

Pasta are excellent as are the grilled octopus and salads. Lamb chops for $35 were extremely poor value for 3 small pieces. Tiramisu great. Surprised to see coffee machine was Nespresso with pods. You need to order carefully here.

Went for a girls night out and it was wonderful. Food was good for all of us and dessert was amazing. Best panna cotta I've ever had.

Wonderful food

Food is great but what makes it really good is the owner/Chef comes out to every table and talks to everyone with the help of a translator waitress .
Wine prices are reasonable as well with good choices

Delicious food. The chef came out to check on guests, which is lovely to see that he stands by his food. Awkward seating area at first but they happily moved us to a more comfortable table once that table left.

I don’t usually write reviews, however, I had the BEST GNOCCHI I have ever had in my life. I have been to Italy and spent a month there up and down, I have been to 25 different countires and my wife’s family is of italian descent.
Best gnocci, by far.
If you understand anything about anything, you will concur and guaranteed not to waste your time and money at La Forchetta

Great food and atmosphere

Wonderful service and comfortable setting but found the food quite mediocre and bland. Unfortunately disappointed as we had heard rave reviews.

Fantastic neighborhood gem! Used to go again and again when on Denman Street in the West End. We will make the trip out for the freshest Italian Cuisine in Vancouver!

We had a wonderful dinner and visit with our daughter at the bar and enjoyed the videos playing on the screen

The best Italian food in our neighborhood— and we have some great ones! Service was lovely, and the chef made a special dish for our toddler. You can taste the love and creativity in the food, it’s freshness and pro touch. A high quality restaurant you’d expect in Yaletown! Highly recommend.

Great restaurant

We are new to Metro Vancouver and we wanted to find a new spot. This was very good. Great food, great service, clean modern decor. We've put it on our list to come back to!

The food is excellent but the portions are too small for the prices.

Service was impeccable. We arrived a little early but our table was ready immediately. We explained we were just meeting each other for the first time and wanted to visit while taking our time. Waiter respected our wishes. Appetizers and main courses were outstanding! Chef came to our table after we finished dessert. He and, I believe, his wife were delightful. While it was our first visit to La Forchetta, it will not be our last!
