Excellent all round. Service was what a lot of sydney restaurants don’t do well. La Favola puts their customers at the centre of why they exist. We were made to feel welcomed from the moment we had to wait outside for our table in a very busy small venue, attentive service with unobtrusive smiles. Well done!

This was my 2nd time at La Favola. The first time was a great experience. This time when I was there, the waitress who served us was very rude and being very sneaky with upselling, asking if we wanted water, and when we replied yes, gave us bottled water that you have to pay for, rather than the table water that was clearly available. She constantly was rushing us and clearly just wanted us to spend more money and get out. Once we got to dessert, we felt very uncomfortable, and didn't want to stay any longer, but she became more intense. The food is fantastic and I will come back again, but if the same waitress is there, I will turn around and find a new place to eat. the fantastic food was not worth how uncomfortable I felt on this visit.

Overall amazing food and Service I love that they make their pasta from scratch. It feels so authentically Italian. One thing is well the calamari was really delicious. I do feel like the amount you pay for. I was hoping to get a bit more calamari for an entree but overall amazing experience would definitely go again.

It was my first time here, and I’ll definitely be back. Pastas were cooked to perfection, every dish we ordered was amazing. The burrata with pumpkin was soooo good, I don’t know how I’m going to eat burrata without pumpkin now haha. The wait staff were so so lovely. Cannot find a single fault with my visit.

Just want to give my honest review as constructive criticism. Firstly service was outstanding. Staff were so lovely and accomodating. Unfortunately the pastas just didn’t do it for us. Foccacia was enjoyable- it was light and fluffy. Carpaccio was lovely & fresh but the aioli on top was a little too much. It made the dish heavy, especially with the large parmesan slice on top. A tiny amount of aioli is all it needed. I loved the fried kale on top. The carbonara was enjoyable. The pastas were cooked perfectly… it was nice and al dente but the Ragu and dal mare lacked depth of flavour and seasoning. You could barely taste the Ragu in the dish but it’s like the pasta and the sauce didn’t amalgamate enough. I don’t think there was enough seafood in the dal mare pasta. Apologies for the feedback. Just want to give an honest review.

La Favola was a small Italian restaurant on a very busy street. The tables were all small and fairly close together. We arrived early and were immediately seated. As time went on, the restaurant got more and more crowded. For a Monday night, this is a promising sign that people like to come to this restaurant and we could look forward to some good Italian food. The food was good indeed. My only complaint would be the discomfort of the seating in the restaurant. With only short firm stools to sit on, it just was not comfortable at all. Luckily, the service was fairly quick. My recommendation would be to put some padding on these stools - After just 15 minutes, we each mentioned how uncomfortable the seating was… However, the food was very tastey and at a reasonable price.

A little too salty for our liking, wish the tables were a little bit bigger and apart. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable this evening. If there was a touch less of salt it would have been perfect. Thank you for a good evening nonetheless. :)

La Favola is our favorite go to place to eat , love the food, Top quality Authentic Italian . The people there make you feel like you’re at home ! Would highly recommend, you can feel the food is made with passion !!
