For years, Paolo and Teresa Gaspari honored their Italian roots by bringing people together to enjoy good food, great wine and the company of friends and family. In 2019, John Ekizian took the reins and remains excited to continue the tradition of La Famiglia. The simplicity and perfection of fresh ingredients is the root of every meal we prepare here at La Famiglia, and all of our dishes pair beautifully with our vast collection of fine wines. The waiter was amazing. He was knowledgeable and helpful with our selections. The dishes we ordered were excellent. The pasta was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Despite being full the desserts were special- their cheesecake have to tried.

Outstanding in every respect. Service was prompt and respectful, cocktails delicious, all four of our dinners were hot, and scrumptious. The wait staff were delightful the owner John thanked us personally after dinner. A great experience in a family owned and operated establishment.

We had a wonderful dinner after an event at the Pioneer Theater. Delicious roasted beet salad with arugula and goat cheese to start, followed by my marscapone ravioli and my husband's chicken parmasean. Spumoni for desert. The food was excellent and our server was attentive and gracious. Definitely a great meal.

They were a little off tonight. It was a broadway show night, so naturally they were fully booked. But it was obvious that they weren’t prepared. 15 minutes before we saw our server, then another 15 for our drinks and appetizer. Then it was about 45 minutes for our food. Just in time to scarf down about half our meal and ask for a box. No time for dessert. Another 15 minutes or so for the check after our meals were boxed up. No time to wait for a card, so just dropped cash and headed to the theater. Usually these guys are pretty solid. Will be giving them another shot. Food is excellent.

I think it was an off night. We had a 5:30 reservation and didn't get our entrees at all, we had to leave at 7:20 for a show. When we asked to speak to the manager, she came out, we explained our situation and she apologized and comped our entire bill. We will certainly give them another chance. The Caesar salad was delicious!!!!!!

I love family own restaurants, especially when it’s Italian. When you’re in downtown Reno craving in Italian you should check this place out, but you better have a reservation.

Menu offers one to explore all categories and then choices that we have always enjoyed. We see La Famiglia a definite go to setting for 2/4/6 groups as share with our friends and family. The professional staff is friendly, engaging and eager to offer assistance. The cocktails and wine choices are extensive. You'll be back, I'm sure and please have a great experience!
