La Esquina Cocina
The food and drinks were amazing! We loved it! Everything was fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back!
Waited 35 minutes to be seated even with a reservation. Our waiter was very nice and fast. Food was okay, kind of plain.
The young lady who waited on us was very attentive, well spoke and informative.
The food and service are always great! One of our favorite places to eat!
Amazing food and great service! We will be back soon.
Great time! Had a great server with an abundance of knowledge
The food and margaritas are always fabulous!!!
Only down side is same as always. Great food and drinks. Great service. SO damn noisy if there are a number of people. So much so conversation pretty much requires talking so loud it just exacerbates the problem.
My husband went for our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was more expensive than your regular restaurant, but not as expensive as subs of the other high end restaurants in Huntsville. The food was fantastic! I bought the ribeye (med-rare cooked perfectly) with the cream corn and would go back again just for the cream corn. The waitress was very helpful as we couldn't pronounce anything on the menu. The atmosphere was upscale urban and very busy, even though it was a Tuesday. The only drawback was the noise level, and that's me just showing my age. All in all, a great place. We'll be back no doubt.
My husband ordered the surf & turf. He ordered his steak medium rare, but it came out rare and full of fat. We told the server about it, and he offered to have it remade, but we had to go as we were meeting friends downtown. Even thought my husband didn’t eat his steak, we were still charged.
The apps and chicken bowls were great. Fish tacos need a little work.
The noise level was extraordinarily high.
Service was very good.
I made the reservation on open table about 10 minutes before the open time slot. I really thought we were not going to get in but after getting my text we were seated right away. The server, Jackie, was very friendly and answered all of our questions. She was working several tables but was still able to help us when needed. The food was excellent and had a very diverse menu. I got about 4 small plates and enjoyed each dish.
The salmon, shrimp bowls and empanadas and queso and chips are great! Margaritas are best in town!!
This place never disappoints! The food is always delicious and I highly recommend the spicy Margarita! Chandler gave bar none service!
Great service and great food. We started with the guacamole and house made chips- was very good. For apps we had the meat pies and they were very good. we also has the potato and cheese croquets but they were not as good as the meat pies. We split a rib eye with poblano corn. Both were excellent!
Came here on our 3 year anniversary! The drinks were very good! The margarita was not watered down like at a lot of places I have been too. Also the Tom Collins blackberry cocktail was the best I have had! Definitely will be back!
The food, the service, the atmosphere were spot on.
Fantastic Brunch spot. Cheap $4 guava mimosas!
Great date night experience! Great food and atmosphere!
Food was fabulous. Host was kind to seat us away from two crowded tables. Server attentive. Coffee not good -- really need to improve this for brunch crowd.
The Guacamole and chips are so yummy.
Then I always get either the Shrimp or Chicken bowl.
Our son was home from the Air Force after being gone for over a year. We had great food with the perfect atmosphere!
One of my favorite spots, esp. when the weather is nice enough to enjoy their patio. Always attentive service, great less-than-traditional Mexican fare, and fantastic quality. Highly recommend.
Food was OK. $18 for three tacos? It is a chic, hip popular joint. Great location for the downtown crowd. Not my normal
This was a great choice for a birthday dinner for two. It's in a great location (you do have to plan for parking, either in the garage across from the restaurant or street parking on an adjacent street). The service was great in addition to the food and drinks. It is a lively atmosphere so it can be moderately loud, but appropriate for the setting.
Would definitely recommend.
We went for Sunday brunch and the atmosphere was very bright and happy. Their was a wonderful guitarist playing which added to the ambiance. We ordered drinks and my husband's Bloody Maria was very flavorful and mixed well.
I ordered the vegetable omelet which had a perfect balance of flavors and my husband ordered the breakfast quesadilla and it was delicious and had a nice amount of filling. The staff were enthusiastic , friendly and attentive . I like the fact that they were assisting each other so that the customers were always take care of . The hostess that seated us had a lovely personality too.
The only thing we noticed was the noise level was a little high. We noticed that someone thought of that because there were acoustical panels on the walls . With the wide open space ,exposed ceilings and concrete floors it would be a challenge.
We really like going to La Esquina and enjoy the outdoor dining, food is always wonderful. The inside is just to noisy.
Delightful food and company!
One of the best chicken quesadillas I’ve ever had! Service was great. Loved the openness of the restaurant.
Great service, fun atmosphere, way too much to pay for Mexican food and drinks.
Food was really good! It was a great vibe celebrating with friends!
