   Came for Easter brunch. Adult beverages were on point, the salsa Verde was delicious & our server with the long grayish/green hair was very attentive but very difficult to hear her due to the noise level & her soft voice. Overall... the perfect place to be. Plan to come back for dinner soon.

    We had a great time. The food just gets better and better every time I go. The empanadas de carne was chefs kiss. My arugula salad with shrimp and scallops was so good I almost ordered two. I ordered one taco instead of getting the bundle just to try the Asian taco and I wish I had two tacos to order the bundle. Not a fan of corn tacos but the taco shell was soft and so easy to eat.

    Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The atmosphere and decor were very comfortable. All the staff were very nice, attentive, and helpful in making selections from the menu. The food was delicious. We shared the tuna and avocado appetizer and a chicken empanado which were delicious. I also had the taco platter with three different tacos recommended by hostess: pork, breaded fish, and fried avocado. Loved them and would definitely have again. A friend recommended the Machacado with shrimp and scallops. We all look forward to returning.

    First time trying the restaurant! I got the steak and eggs and my steak was deviiiine! So tasty! We did realize we need to come earlier next time as a few drinks we wanted to try were sold out or the ingredients had run out. Overall, it was good!

    Went before the Hockey game , made a reservation, seated on time , service was quick, server was wonderful and listened to our requests, meal very tasty! Not too noisy , but we were there from 5-6:30 … Will go again . 🙋🏼‍♀️

    My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. While it is Mexican there are several menu items that aren't really. I had the Pork Chop dinner and it was off the charts! We were visiting from out of town but we will definitely make a trip back just for the food.

    It was our first time here. It was busy, it they had our table reserved and ready for us. Parking can be a challenge around that part of town, so give yourself extra time to find a spot in a nearby garage or open lot. The tortilla chips are amazing! We had them with queso and salsa. Their tomatillo green salsa was one of the best green salsas I’ve ever had. We had grilled fish tacos and their steak bowl for entree’s and both were really good. They had at least 3 tables of 10+ in there at once and everyone did a good job keeping up with service. We enjoyed the meal and service and will definitely return!

    Servers were good. Food was very good. The tacos were yummy! Loved the Baja sauce drizzled on them. But the sound in the room was too noisy for my husband who wears hearing aids. Probably won’t return-but the vibe is great for younger people!! Cute decor and architecture!

    We enjoyed the New Years Eve special dinner. The entrees were very good. Three of us had the seared snapper and one had the taco flight. We started with a charcuterie board and really enjoyed the selections. Our server was friendly and attentive. Excellent service!

    La Esquina Cocina is a beautiful, modern restaurant with good service and great food. Our family all ordered various tacos, with the Cochita Pibil being the standout favorite. Next was the Carnitas. The rest were good as well (we had the grilled shrimp and grilled pescado as well.

    We absolutely love La Esquina, we go there almost every time we have a sitter. However last night was an off night for sure. My husband and I both ordered tacos, I had 1/3 incorrect taco and my husband had 2/3 incorrect tacos. His tacos were corrected and I opted to keep the incorrect taco to give a new taco a try. My husband’s tea stayed empty stayed empty almost the entire time we had our food.

    Super service at a surprisingly good lunch spot. We all had bowls, shrimp and chicken. Really different style and great flavor. Plenty of people out doing holiday shopping who stopped in for lunch and a nice buzz in the air. Reasonable prices, and worth every penny!

    Excellent brunch! Our group really enjoyed both the Rojos and Verde Chilaquiles and the Huevos Ahogados. Service was great and the drinks were fantastic as well. We have been several times for lunch and dinner and this was our first Sunday brunch. One of the top 2 places to eat downtown, IMO.

    The guacamole was very good. Took our service 10 minutes to find us but after that got better. Ordered my steak medium and it was very rare. No apologies for making me wait longer for the steak. Got it back was more medium well but I didn’t dare say anything. For $38 it should have been better

    My husband and I are regulars at the downtown Huntsville location! We moved here two years ago and were delighted to discover La Esquina Cocina! It’s elevated ethnic cuisine is similar to a favorite restaurant in downtown Lexington,KY . Everything on the menu from the chips, salsas, queso and guacamole to the original entree’s are exquisite and not your average Joe’s for Mexican. The ambiance and decor, not to mention its downtown location, are so aesthetically pleasing and attractive. The personnel and the service are very welcoming and accommodating.

    The food is amazing, and I am not sure if because it was Saturday brunch, but they were frazzled. We arrived at our reservation time, and the hostess said it will take 5 minutes, it took 25 and then we waited another 15 minutes to get our chips and salsa. We had to remind the waiter lol But the food was incredible :)
