Very pleased with the experience at La Dolce Vita -- food was excellent. Will definitely recommend to others.
Our experience at La Dolce Vita was mixed. The servers were very capable and super friendly. The food was good, although the veal was not as tender as we like it. I requested a side of vegetables instead of pasta but was sorry when a plate of mushrooms and overcooked spinach appeared - my fault for not asking first what the vegetables would be. The restaurant is very clean and bright but it is in a former firehouse and the acoustics are terrible. Despite the place not being particularly crowded, we were swamped with noise from a nearby table. The folks weren't being exceptionally loud, it's just that the sound carries and echos off the ceiling. That said, the quality of my chicken was excellent and I would go there again and perhaps sit outside.
Delicious Italian specialties. Generous portions. BYOB
We like the food there but we went as a family to celebrate a birthday and it was very hot and I think they could have used more wait help. Our food was good but my son's alfredo wasn't up to par. It took a long time for all of our meals to be served so my daughter in law received her meal long after the first meal was served. They could do something to help with the noise it is very loud in there and hard to talk at the table .
We loved it! Food was excellent, portions huge! Our server was awesome! She did a wonderful job and we loved her great personality! Celebrated my son’s birthday. Was a great night and I already told many people how much we enjoyed it! We will definitely return soon!
Food and service were great. Only concern is placement of the rest rooms in the center of dining area proximate to my table.
Outstanding food and service! Hidden gem in Easton!
First time customers.
Very friendly , nice place...service very good...food..really good even gulten free pasta...the sauce is just great!
Will be back!
We’ve been there before for a family party. This time just the two of us. Service was quick, very attentive. Good food, large portions and as full as we were we had to save room for dessert. I recommend it .
Authentic, homemade food! Large portions! Would definitely return here!
It was very good food. It’s nice that it’s BYOB. The waitress was great. She was attentive and knew about the menu. I had the Occo Boco. It was served with barley in a heavy graveyard/ sauce but without a vegetable. It was delicious but I think a vegetable sauté would improve the presentation and I like a vegetable with dinner!
Haven't found a better Italian restaurant within 50 miles of the Lehigh Valley. There are some restaurants that are very very good but La Dolce Vita takes it one step better. It was as though my mother and grandmother (both deceased) were there in the kitchen cooking - superb food quality and
quantity. We will continue to support this very fine establishment.
This is an exceptional place. The food is great and you definitely cannot find a better service. Thank you Jesse!!!
You are THE BEST.
The braciole and osso bucco was fabulous! Least I forget the delicious polenta...
Thank you for yet another scrumptious dinner!
This is our second time to La Dolce Vita. Each time the service was friendly and the food delicious. The garlic knots are amazing!!!! It was a great place to eat on a Friday night. Although is was busy, the noise level remained low enough to carry on a conversation. We will be back.
Antipasto salad was delicious. Chicken with portobello mushrooms in marsala sauce was great and a huge portion.
As always outstanding food and service!
Great meal. Authentic Italian meal
Great quality meals! 1st time at LA DOLCE VITA and can't wait to go back!
Too noisy. Couldn’t hear each other. My husband received his meal 10-15 minutes before the test of us. Salad was served while we were still eating appetizers
We have been here a couple of times, and like it for its extensive Italian fare. We also like to dine at BYOB. We can bring a wine of our own choosing, without the substantial mark up you get at a restaurant with its own bar.
Food was excellent with large portions. Too large to come close to finishing. We always have leftovers here. Both of our entrees were great and came out nice and hot, just as we like.
The only complaint was that we felt rushed. We were served our salad promptly, and it was very good. But both my wife and I were barely half way done with the salads, when our entrees were brought. There was not even enough room to have everything on the table. When we dine, we like to take our time. One course at a time. We like to take time to talk, and enjoy our bottle of wine. I don't like being served our entrees so quickly, rather finish my first course, have a little time, then bring the entree. When we dine out, it is not unusual to take two to two and a half hours from the time we arrive until the check is paid. We dine in New York City a lot, and that is the pace we are used to.
Still a nice restaurant, with good food, and our server was excellent. Just wished she had checked our table to see how far along we were with our first course.
Still love the place and will return.
La Dolce Vita delivers quality food and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The Garlic bread served with the meal was delicious and the main courses were flavorful.
Came here for Mother's Day. It is a BYOB. Food and service was good.
The food was so delicious . Sal the owner is a fun friendly guy. Service was very good, didn't have to wait long for food to come. Seemed like everyone in the place was happy and hungry. Would definitely go again and highly recommend it for everyone. Best Italian food in the lehigh valley.
This was my third time to dine at LA Dolce Vita. This time we took some friends with us . The food was excellent as usual and Sal was very pleasant. He even gave us a glass of his homemade wine. I just wish the lighting was turned down a bit and that the noise level could be turned down some. We will be back and so will !y friends.
Very good veal dishes. Too loud for conversation, more help is needed for table service.
Finally got to go there well worth the wait food is amazing a lot of it staff are kind and thoughtful what a great place
Very friendly and excellent food. As expected busy for New year's Eve. I would go back and recommend. Casual environment.
Neighborhood gem. Cooked to order. Fabulous delicious food. Inexpensive and s byob!!! Service was on top. A favorite!
Friendly staff, great food, quick service, large portions, byob.
Really good Italian food. Bread is awesome, you can get garlic or no garlic.
Waitress was awesome. Place was dead, no real need for a reservation. Food was excellent for the most part. Speghetti sauce and meatballs were on the bland side.
Soso would not return
Stay away from this wanta-be restaurant. Meal was overly spiced and salty. Italian Wedding soup had a high sodium content.
The outside was offputting and we were going to cancel and go somewhere else but decided to go in. I'm sure glad we did. The inside was really nice and quaint. Server was very friendly. Food was amazing. Will defintely go back again.
The food and service was amazing. This is my second time there and both times the food was prepared with love. You can just tell seeing it that the staff and chef love what they do.
Went for dinner with friends. Restaurant came well recommended. The food was outstanding. Each of us loved our meal. Some of the best meatballs I've ever had.
Service was a little slow but not worth complaining over and they have a very laid back casual feel, it's a little loud even with only 4-5 tables of people due to the large open space and hard flooring which doesn't absorb sound. The food was fantastic though, staff was very friendly and it was a great value, huge portions! Would definitely go back!! Oh and the free limoncello at the end was a nice treat and very tasty!
Very busy the night we went . We were a party of 2 where just about every other table was 8 or more. 1 group was over 20 people. Very noisy so if someone is on a first date or wanted a quiet dinner--at least the Friday night that we were there it was not the place. Fortunately we went there for our 38th Anniversary dinner & after being married 38 years we know each other pretty well & didn't necessarily feel the need to have an intimate conversation!!! Otherwise, the food was very good.
