   We were in town for a conference and bagged on the plenary/reception to have a real dinner. This was close and got great reviews. First of all, the positive reviews already on this site are correct: it is a splendid little restaurant, with a creative menu and a very fine wine list. Because we had food that was a bit challenging to pick wines for (my wife had the smoked duck and schnitzel, while I had the rabbit terrine and a schnitzel with saffroned risotto; we were at loggerheads about whether to get a red or a white, with me thinking that a sturdy north Italian white would be the better bet), we consulted the staff who served up a very fine Dolcetto, which worked very well. We arrived at 8, early for Italy, and by the time our mains arrived, all the tables were filled. The noise level was OK and we could maintain a nice conversation without needing to raise our voices. The staff was very kind and considerate, but they appeared to be a bit short-staffed for the Friday night crowd. The wine recommendation came 20 minutes after our request for a consult. And my Borolo-based dessert wine (with bitters, yum!) didn't arrive with dessert. In fact, I asked after it and it still did not arrive. Only when our staff was tallying up our bill was the mistake realized and they rushed the glass out to me. I'm glad they did. I think part of the problem is that a back waiter took the dessert order and it appears to have slid sideways. My Italian is virtually non-existant although his English was a bit better. One can't really complain when dining on someone else's turf. The only real fault is that the staff was a bit frantic although very good-natured. Excellent dinner!

   Very nice dinner here. The dining room is comfortable and quite. We had help selecting wine that paired well with a fabulous meal. Worth returning on our next trip.

   Amazing food. Amazing wine recommended by a staff member. A tad on the pricey side but you defiantly get what you pay for so it’s worth every penny. The staff are really friendly.

   We ate here twice during our stay in Milan. The restaurant is in very old traditional brick building and has a comfortable and rural ambience. The menu is a mix of traditional and modern. The foie gras was delicious as were the pigs kidneys which were delicate and delicious. There is an extensive and interesting wine list. The staff are friendly and informative.

   Absolutely our best dining experience during our time in Milan. Our server was fabulous! He made wonderful recommendations , explained the origin of the dishes, and was very generous with his time, answering all of our questions. The food was spectacular Nd I would recommend getting the wine pairing with your meal. The sommelier made some really lovely pairings for us. We will definitely go here again when we are back in Milan!

    We had one of the best meals in our 3 weeks in Europe and we had dozens of meals in Paris, London, Milan, Florence and Monaco. The cheese/meat plate they created for us was unique and excellent. The sommelier recommendation was very good and very well priced. We had meat, fish and pasta and all were exceptional. The service was high quality without being stiff. We loved the little extra - amuse bouche and small dessert extra. Could not more highly recommend for a very nice evening.
