When reserving it is not possible to guarantee a specific table or location in the restaurant, although we always try to do our best. We have 10 minutes tolerance on reservations, after that it is a no show. We only assign tables to complete parties, in case not everybody is present we assign a smaller table. we charge $250 pesos per person on no shows or incomplete groups..

El masero no explicó bien que es vino natural y que sabor tiene... llego El vino y estuvo horrible y no nos dio chance para cambiar. Tmb contó la cuenta y dinero en la mesa enfrente de nosotros... aparte de eso estuvo rico la comida y el ambiente. Los employeados estaban poco impaciente por la gente a termina su comida antes que cero y nadie nos dijo saludos cuando nos salimos ni gracias
Necesitan cambiar el menú ya, siguen con platillos básicos y que solo tengan cocina de mariscos.
Los mariscos súper frescos, las almejas, king crab y ostiones de lo mejor, sus entradas como chicharrón, calamares y choripan no valen la pena. Precio justo.

Los platos increíbles 👌🏻 El servicio “bueno” hay excelentes meseros pero algunos con actitud cuestionable. Fuimos atendidos por 4 personas diferentes, el último no dejo de hacernos saber que le molestó que dejáramos el 10% de propina.
Hay pocas opciones de vino blanco especialmente Chardonnay que es indispensable para mariscos.
El ambiente excelente, el servicio mucho que desear, se tardaban demasiado, les había comentado que era nuestro aniversario y no hicieron nada, pero la culpa la tengo yo por esperar un buen servicio. No regresaría por voluntad propia

La Docena is a lively place. You have to be prepared for lots of action, noise and some disinterest from the wait staff. Our hamburger was great but the fried calamari lacked flavor. I pre-requested our deserts for a birthday [maybe a little candle please...] but no one seemed to pay attention to that. Trendy, cool, a must stop if only for that, however next time I will try the shrimp!
Loved the service and space. The price in comparison to other restaurants in CDMX is a little high, but we enjoyed everything we ordered. Would definitely return if we are in the mood for fresh oysters.

Aunque la comida es muy buena, el servicio es malísimo. No puedo entender que es un restaurante no tenga funcionando su teléfono para hacer reservaciones y que además le cobran a uno 250 pesos para poder hacer una reservación.
The overall experience would have been 5 stars had it not been so cold, temperature-wise inside! It’s no wonder so many of the wait staff wore hooded sweatshirts! It’s freezing!!! It also made the food turn cold very quickly.

Was very happy to find a restaurant that was open on Christmas day and where I could make an online reservation. Had to register my credit card through Open Table, which gave more certainty. Atmosphere was very lively, staff efficient and friendly, although very busy. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment because I would say almost all things that can go wrong did go wrong. First, we ordered our meals and after doing so, the waiter came back after a while to say they were sold out of all - all - hamburgers (there are 5-6 on the menu), meaning one of my sons had to go through the whole exercise of scanning the menu again. After making up his mind, the waiter cane back again to tell that they also ran out of my wife’s starter, so we had to do the menu once again. By now one of my kids is getting pretty low on blood sugar.
Then after making the final order, my wife’s main course arrives at the table, next after 5-10 minutes her starter, then another starter and a little later the fourth starter. I love sweetbread, wouldn’t recommend anybody to take the nine on La Docena’a menu though. My best guess is that they didn’t cook it before grilling it and so it was really viscous, I left most of it after trying.
Finally, the Wagyu beef we ordered medium rear came out totally raw so that we had to send it back to the kitchen to at all being able to digest it. Such a pity to waist a piece of meat like this.
Total bill at the end MX$ 2600.
I regret having to write a negative review, but. May be the only way to bring it to the attention of the manager of the restaurant that (a) the cooks don’t know what they are doing, (b) the chef needs to learn how to schedule the dishes out to the tables and (c) communication Between waiters and the kitchen on the menu is not working either.
We were late and La Docena cancelled our reservation. They didn’t have any other tables that night but offered us seats at the oyster bar. Thank heavens we decided to stay because the food was great. We started with calamari followed my a tuna tostada with habanero foam. It was beautiful and tasty. We ended with oysters Rockefeller, also good. All accompanied by a dood Mexican red blend.
En general la docena me parece fabulosa, sin embargo, el servicio no estuvo tan bueno como en otras ocasiones, quizá por que el consumo no iba hacer tan alto.
Excelente aguachile tatemado y el queso provoleta. El ambiente desde mi punto de vista es bastante ruidoso, casi no se puede platicar por el volumen de la musica pero todo lo demas es excelente
