Casual Oyster Bar and Grill serves up some of the country´s freshest seafood. La Docena Providencia is a small and intimate iconic restaurant in Guadalajara, a must. A culinary experience.

San Pellegrino´s Latin America´s 50 Best Restaurants Award for its quality and ambience.

Chef Tomas Bermudez keeps a keen eye on all that enters the kitchen, sourcing the highest quality seafood mostly from the Pacific Coast of Mexico and supporting local small scale producers for vegetables and meat.

Great wine list with many natural options in it.
The seasonal cocktail list is worth a try.

When reserving it is not possible to guarantee a specific table or location in the restaurant, although we always try to do our best. We have 10 minutes tolerance for reservation times, after that it is a no show. We only assign tables to complete parties, in case not everybody is present we assign a smaller table. There is a penalty of $250 pesos for no shows or incomplete groups.

    After almost 15 years of frequenting this amazing restaurant, it continues to maintain high quality ingredients and processes giving us a unique dining experience. The menu changes every so slightly every now and thenThe wait staff is generally the same and always friendly. Congratulations to everyone involved. We can tell you care. This dinner was a date night with the wifey and I ordered the docena burger and added an egg sunny side up. It was the best burger to date for me at La Docena. The salmoncito cocktail kept the heat tolerable and my wife’s vacío steak was just under al punto the way we requested it. Delicious.

    Seguramente tuve la mala suerte ya que siempre veo el restaurante lleno, solicitamos entradas y las papas frufadas traían un cabello, lo regresamos repusieron el platillo entendemos pero no hubo más allá qué una disculpa. Soy un comenzal tranquilo solo lo informe siendo discreto.

    Una de las recepcionistas es grosera y desinteresada, no tiene ningún sentido de servicio y parece que te hace un favor. El resto del personal es muy amable y dan buen servicio pero inevitablemente opacado por la recepcionista. Aún con reservación tuvimos que esperar 45 minutos para pasar y la recepcionista no fue ni para decir “perdón”. El resto del personal muy amable y la comida espectacular.

    Todo estuvo muy bien. Excepto la música, muy ruidosa y no puede uno platicar. Voy a pensar en regresar. No se porque recientemente en varios restaurantes ponen el sonido de la música muy alto. Esto me parece muy mal!!!

    No sé qué les pasó esta vez,! La lonja de pescado traía mucha espina, no se veía como siempre, siempre es una de mis opciones favoritas la Docena pero ayer no estuvo nada bien!
