Wife’s birthday. Outstanding service and food was very awesome.
Lovely server with polite assistants. We thought it was odd that we were not given salad plates, since we were sharing three salads. We were also asked to keep our utensils afterwards. When clearing, we were asked to hand over things. I thought restaurants didn’t like the help. Not a big deal, but odd for fine dining.
Seafood fell short on flavor and many of the mussels left grit/sand in our mouths. Tenderloin with mushroom gravy was a huge hit. Caesar salad very good, house was bland. Seems we should stick to pasta next time, except for the steak.
Great seafood with 8 choices, great food and sevice
The ambiance is absolutely classy! Our waiter, Michael was fantastic and definitely made up for the mussel app we ordered. The mussels were too gritty and tasted more of the wine than the mussels. The cocktails were hit and my friends and I would definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.
First time here. Everything was good, not great. Not sure we would return. Maybe if we were in the area but wouldn’t make a special trip
Loved the atmosphere a d the staff were great! Food was delish and reasonable!
Great food! Great service! Love the outdoor seating area!
I can’t believe we had never been here for dinner! Food and service were great. Prices reasonable. Liked the vibe of the restaurant too. My husband had a few requests to customize his meal and they had no problem accommodating him. Will maybe try the brunch next time!
Outstanding food and beautiful
atmosphere . Will definitely be back.
Swordfish was outstanding. Dylan was a great waiter - personable, knowledgeable, always smiling, attentive without being a nuisance. We has a great night.
Sheimp piccata is outstanding. I go to La Cucina about 3 times a month and it is excellent!
I ordered the tuna special, it was extraordinary. Probably the best I've had.
My husband ordered the prime rib, again, perfectly done.
Our friends were happy w/their food as well -
Food was fantastic and the service was great. The restaurant was very clean and we did not have to wait to be seated for our reservation.
Loved our bus boy Tommy. He was courteous , attentive and pleasant. Deserves a raise!!
Ambiance and service was great! Food was average. Lobster ravioli and scallops was just ok. Chicken Marsala was tasty. Cheese ravioli with the marinara was very good. We did not enjoy the calamari. It was chewy and the coating was a bit doughy tasting.
Food is always delicious at La Cucina and our waitress, Tessa, was knowledgeable and pleasant. Only complaint is that we typically have to wait about 1/2 hour for our reservation to be ready when we arrive.
The food was excellent, nice atmosphere, service was great. Will definitely return.
after making a reservation for 4 people for 7:15 and when calling told them how i needed a lower table . I then decided to call the restaurant and explain how i made a reservation on open table . And that Because we had a elderly person who was 92 with us that can not get up into the higher tables that are bar height and stressed that to them . Was told that is not a problem and they would make a note on the reservation for a lower table . So when we arrived 10 min early told the two women at the front desk that we were here . So at 7:25 we were taken to our table that was right in the door way that was a high table with high bar like seats . I told the person that i reserved a lower table because we had a elderly lady with us . she then led us back to the waiting area where we sat for 45 more min. before our name was called as if we never made a reservation in the first place . I keep my cool and just went with the flow . would of been nice if the person in charge or manager of the restaurant came and apologized . So the waitress and helper were very good . the waitress explained the specials and we ordered . the apps came and were not that good . when dinner came was more of the same and was just so so . The only bright spot was the desert ,chocolate cake with the chocolate and mascarpone frosting .
This restaurant continues to deliver consistently excellent food and drinks with service to match. I love the ambience both in the bar area & the restaurant.
Good food, great atmosphere..will definitely go again
Halibut and shrimp/scallop piccata entrees were excellent! The seafood was so fresh and the desserts were also excellent. We have been raving about the visit ever since.
Definitely recommend, great food. Just my usual pet peeve took for ever to get the check once we were done.
Fantastic, attentive, friendly staff. Very good Northern Italian Food. I would come back.
Our first time here. We will be back for sure!!!
Reservations were for inside dining. When we arrived we requested outdoor dinning and happily they accommodated us.
Michael our server was informative, pleasant and efficient
I had the sweet potato encrusted scrod. AMAZING
My husband had halibut also amazing
Sadly we did not have enough room for dessert
We shared a Caesar salad with the freshest romaine
The food was great. Our server was super. Helping with menu choices, food allergies and menu choices. Large portions, so we took home food for another meal
Food was delicious. However, our waiter wasn't very attentive, i.e. we had to ask for water when we sat down 3x. We asked for bread before our meal and it was never brought to our table. Lastly, I ordered a coffee with my dessert (dessert was great) but it was never brought to our table.
Ordered apps and didn’t get them. Took over an hour to get our food. The kicker is that there were only 3 tables. Literally the place was almost empty! Never again
Went for my mother's birthday, and we all loved it. Would recommend it to anyone.
Had a great Birthday dinner with my family!! The food was great, the ambience was perfect and the service was superb!! Definitely will be back!!
My husband would have licked the plate if I let him ! The seafood medley was wonderful.
We had a lovely Fathers Day dinner here! I was immediately in love with the ambiance of the space, it was lively and sophisticated. The food was exceptional and the service was wonderful! We had Courtney as our server and she’s the best out there - sweet, attentive and personable!
Father’s Day dinner
Atmosphere - We arrived and were seated in the bar which lacks some of the design elements of the main section. We were seated near the wait station and with a view of the bathrooms. The biggest issue is the stools are SUPER tall. Looking around most women had their legs dangling. After dinner my husband who is over 6’ tall commented his legs were killing him from hanging off the chair with no where to rest them. It’s uncomfortable to sit for an hour with your legs hanging off a chair with no foot rail.
The music for dinner is LOUD. We are not old geezers but it was pounding base, Hoizer and the Lumineers with the base thumping away, volume was what I would expect at a nightspot not dinner on a Sunday.
Waitstaff - Our server was very nice, she paid attention and refilled drinks, got extra bread and such which was nice. Everything was served at a good pace.
Food - ehhh for $35 entrees they were OK but not much to write home about. The muscles were very good, the lemon broth tasty. Might have been the fact my legs were falling asleep after 45 minutes on the tall bar stool so the food was a secondary thought.
Bottom line - I would not eat there in the bar again, the main dining room seemed lovely but the bar is a bar with loud music. It lacks a wow factor.
Again, this is an Italian restaurant playing pop rock music. I only go because my girl likes the place. I want to listen to Italian music not Pop rock. Food's pretty good, service could use a bit more training. Beautiful inside.
We had a fantastic dinner! This place never disappoints now
Great food great ambience it was extremely busy there was a private party going on downstairs so they ran out of glasses and things of that nature but other than that it was a great night
Ownership, if you are reading this… it’s time to bring your menu up to date to match your truly gorgeous location. Down the street your competition is killing it every weekend.
The menu is incredibly boring, uninspired Italian. This is not about the execution of the food and more about the ownerships choice of menu. This menu is straight out of 1986. No choice of appetizers, all heavy mediocre items. Easton does need another red sauce Italian restaurant.
I understand staffing is an issue right now post covid, again it’s not about the staff.
Our absolute fav go to!! This was our Fourth time here and still a wonderful meal, service, drinks, ambience. Always where I want to go when we are in the mood for dining out. Have not been disappointed yet and if any issue arises it is remedied immediately and with a smile!!! Love this place👍
