    The food is always excellent in this lovely small Italian restaurant with a great menu! Excellent stuffed zucchini flowers! Delicious veal francese! BYOW. A true value!

    Try the specials - they are always so innovative and delicious. Then again, anything on the menu is a sure-fire great choice. If you like mussels and saffron, get the PEI cozze (mussels) in a light saffron cream sauce either as an appetizer or an entree! For dessert, the (ice cream) profiteroles and the novel tartufo are great choices. Everyone we have ever brought here has loved La Cucina. Very highly recommended, but you DO need to make a reservation - especially for the peak dining hours 5:00 - 8:00.

    Right after we ordered appetizers the power went out. Because the restaurant cannot operate without power they gave patrons the option of waiting it out or leaving with no charge for whatever they may have already had. We decided to wait, the other tables all left. Power came back on about 25 minutes later. As we were the only ones left in the restaurant, we asked the staff if they wanted to close up or if they were ok with us staying for dinner. They said stay and I’m so glad we did. Food and service were excellent, as they always are here. Can’t wait to go back.

    We had the most incredible special entree today. Branzino with crabcake topping in a dijon mustard sauce over spinach and mashed potatoes. One person had it done with veal instead of branzino. Wow. So delicious. La Cucina Piccola is special. Great food and service, you're treated like family, large portions, moderate prices, BYO, free parking. If you haven't been yet, make a reservation now. If you have been, it may be time for another visit. The restaurant does fill up during peak dining hours. Make a reservation to avoid the disappointment of not getting a table.

    This is our go to restaurant for both weekdays and weekends. The food is always consistent, the service really is very good and attentive. And we believe the prices are reasonable.
