La Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria Italiana
Great menu with unique pizza options. Highly recommend the burratta truffle pizza bianco!
Really enjoyed our visit to La Crosta! A nice outing for a night that you want to treat yourself but not break the bank. The pizza is very enjoyable. Nothing way out of the ordinary, but very enjoyable none the less! Definitely a lighter option that the deep dish in Chicago
Best pizza in Chicago town! Try the calla tella and the tiramisu.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at La Crosta. Authentic Italian pizza dough, cooked thin and crispy in a wood fire oven and dressed with your choices of deliciously fresh and flavorful topping. The service was stellar as well.
Amazing food and serve! Great restaurant in the Lincoln Park area.
Nice place good food nothing too amazing. I went there with a friend to have a relaxing evening and it was perfect for that. Could be a good place to go on a first date because it is not too casual not too fancy.
Excellent appetizers and pizza. The ingredients are fresh and authentic. Being italian, I'm picky when going to an italian restaurant. This one does a great job
Amazing staff! The pizzas are fantastic
Amazing bruschetta - don't leave without trying. Traditional Italian wood-fired pizzas worth a visit.
We ordered a bottle of chardonnay and a pizza each (we took home most of the pizza). Pizza: Due Carne and the Fig, Goat Cheese & Prosciutto. Both were delicious! Our waiter was friendly and polite. Will definitely be back!
Great pizza and service. A neighborhood gem worth traveling to.
A little pricey, but the pizza was delicious!
Always a great experience!
If you are looking for the style of pizza you ate in Italy, this is the one to go to. Service was nice also.
Best pizza! Highly recommend it to everyone. And owner Dino is the BEST! Very accommodating to children also....
lovely, warm cosy neighborhood pizza - with the best food!
Terrific spot! We had fantastic service - server helped us order the perfect amount of food. And everything we ate was wonderful. Definitely recommend, especially if you have tickets to Greenhouse for a show. Easy walk.
La Crosta is my favorite pizzeria in Chicago!!! Quality ingredients, great service, authentic Italian pizzeria feel. Without a doubt the best pizza this side of the Atlantic! 😍
Great food and service.
Rare hidden gem. I got the inglaterra pizza which wasn’t even on the menu but the helpful serve suggested it to me. Delicious pizza, attentive service, cozy ambience, scrumptuous desert and no wait. Unbelievable that this place has flown under the radar for so long. Best in Lincoln Park. It needs to be nominated for a “Check Please” episode.
Best pizza ever!!!
The service is perfect, descreet and friendly!!
The pizza was awesome. Just a bit overpriced. Could have used a bit more attention to the table (ie, wanted another drink, but server came by when we were closer tti the end if the meal)
Came here with my sisters and we all really liked the food. We ordered the baked goat cheese, a ceaser salad, and a pizza and it was perfect to share between the 3 of us.
We has three of their meatless pizzas as my sister keeps kosher, Margarita, mushroom artichoke and four cheese. All were delicious and great for sharing. Look for half price wines on Wednesdays
Best pizza I have had so far...! I always order deliver, but this time I went to the restaurant. I loved it, I like the ambience, the staff is kind and the food was amazing!
Don't overlook the artichoke appetizer!
This is a find in a block with surprisingly few options. Perfect for pre- or post-Victory Gardens meal. 15% discount for theater-goers.
Great pizza and nice people
We went there before the theater and everything worked out perfectly. We told our server Ava we had theater tickets and our food came out promptly to give us plenty time to get to the theater. We ordered 4 woodfired pizzas for the 6 of us. We even had time to order desserts and they were delicious. If you are going to the Greenhouse theater it's only .2 miles away and I would definitely recommend it.
Come to La Croats wood fired pizza
You won’t be disappointed awesome appetizers, pizzas & tiramisu.
Wanted to be crazy and try something new that I hadn't had before and I wasn't huge on that. But I will go back and when I do, I will get something hot and spicy which is much more my style. Service was great, wine was great, ambiance was great!
One of my favorite pizza restaurants in Chicago. Salads and desserts are also excellent and good for sharing.
Excellent pizza (both quality & selection). Well-curated and very reasonably priced wine list (most if not all bottles under $40). Creative/beautiful appetizer & dessert presentations. Excellent service and menu recommendations. Warm & cozy decor/ambiance. I was particularly pleased that we were able to order cappuccinos to accompany our dessert. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!
Amazing food. Quick. Great service. Owner was so hospitable.
Three of us shared 2 pizzas. One "white" ("quattro formagia") and one red: prosciutto and arugula. That was more then enough. Add in half-priced wines on Wednesdays and it's a great value! Our Waiter/bartender was very friendly and attentive (but not "too" attentive).
Great experience at a neighborhood spot. Pizza was great, but burrata(?) topping was pretty cold, which made the whole Pusan’s cold.there also probably a little too much buratta in the first place. Great interior and nice staff and other patrons.
It was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The food was incredible and the wine was amazing! It is my favorite pizza I've had in Chicago.
Definitely one of my favorite pizza places in Chicago! Salads and dessert are also great.
Our waiter was definitely high. Totally fine, it was comical; however, he forgot to bring out our appetizer after telling us it wasn’t a common option based on his experience... really shocked that goat cheese dip isn’t popular?! It was really good, but it came out after our pizza. Also, our $40 bottle of wine had a twist off... wouldn’t have known if we had not asked to keep the cork. When we asked for the cork, he came back and set the cap of the bottle on our table and walked away. The overall value was underwhelming... pretty pricey for what you get. I don’t typically write reviews and we are not picky eaters (especially for pizza), but it wasn’t what we expected and I don’t think we will be going back.
