La Côte - Fontainebleau Miami Beach Ratings and Reviews
Nice ambiance in an outdoor, covered setting. The food is average, made for moderate palate. Portions are small to medium; you will need appetizers, main course, drinks and dessert to be full. Drinks a bit overpriced, but it is the iconic Fontainebleau! Nice pool area and beach view.
Had a wonderful lunch. Needed to ask for a table away from the noise. Loud DJ. Food is very good, but expensive for what one gets. We had a shrimp and octopus dish (not a lot to eat, called a tapas-shared plate) that was $34 and a $14 Caesar Salad. Service was excellent. It is outdoors right at the beach (although there is no beach view).
It is an OK place to eat , that's it.
The food is regular , the service is nimimun , the ambiance is good , the view of the pool and small garden with a green wall is ok only..
We are on vacation and thought to visit a good hotel with fancy food and a good view of the beach and pool - NONE The second floor was close I guess not enough people so no view
To munch money for nothing. The employees OK they are just doing the work it's like going to McDonald's
I was disappointed. I expected the food to be overpriced, but they didn't have any of the food we actually wanted to eat. It wasn't even good. The seats with ocean view weren't available, because someone rented the entire deck. Don't waste your time or money.
Unfortunately had a very bad time at La Côte despite high hopes. Chose this venue while on vacation looking for an outdoor waterfront meal which is what was described online. Get there, and besides having an incredibly difficult time simply valeting the car and then basically hiking around the complex to find the restaurant, we are seated outdoors as described but not a single view of the water bc they've covered the perimeter with high bushes and absolutely zero ventilation. It was literally torture to be seated at this restaurant and we were dripping sweat with two very understandably cranky kids as a result by the time we left. Crowd was low class. Table next to us dropping very loud f bombs left and right with no regard to a family seated beside them. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
I went her with date for Valentine's Day and was happy with everything. Only thing that bummed me out was they didn't have what I wanted on the menu (honestly can't recall what it was).
Other than that, no issues. I had the sea bass and it was great.
Oh, only wish they had a better view of the ocean from there, but they have these tall hedges. Oh well. I'll go back for sure.
Had checked into the hotel that afternoon so we were looking forward to a casual dinner outside with traveling off grounds. It was not crowded or busy later in the evening, but service was very slow, to start, to get a simple glass of wine. The entire evening was ruined by two families who allowed small children run all around our table, which was at the other end. A manager walked by and we pointed out the problem, but he did absolutely nothing after assuring he'd take care of it. Food was just OK. I will say hotel credited part of the cost back to our account.
