La Côte - Fontainebleau Miami Beach Ratings and Reviews
My daughter and I had a 5p dinner reservation - because that was the only one availalble. We didn't realize the place closes at 6p!! We sat upstairs and our waiter (cannot remember his name) was TERRIFIC - helpful, friendly, fun. The view was beautlful and even though there was a hopping DJ/Party at the bar right below us ...we still managed to have a nice conversation!! Food was outstanding - I got the crab cakes over mixed greens (instead of a bun) and my daughter had scallops ... DELICIOUS and highly recommend.
Great place to have lunch outside on a suny day. The food is good and healthy. The service is Excellent. I sad I am not sure I am going to like the desert they told me we'll offer you a second choice if you don't like the one you chose. That's service+++
So Fontainebleau stends for me for Excellence in all aspects. I highly recommand la Côte.
Miami Spice choices were wonderful to the eyes, and marvelous for the tongue. Definitely worth a revisit. $25 for parking (reduced to $15) is ridiculous. Appetizers were Rock Shrimp Ceveche, main was Snapper, dessert was crime brûlée. Everything was delicious.
I had a fly in the fries that was one side with my burger! I told the waiter and he acted so cool about it!!! Took the food to the kitchen and brought back another burger after 20min! He treated us with two chippy glass of Rose'! He charged us for the freaking burger and no one came to the table to at least apologize!
We were one hour late for our reservation and they still managed to find the perfect seat. The rooftop gave the perfect Oceanfront ambiance. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The dJ kept the upbeat environment. It started to rain and we still didn't want to leave
My group decided to dine here based on the other reviews. We made a reservation for Sunday lunch and were so pleased with the entire experience. We arrived on time and were seated right away on the second level of the restaurant. We asked for a seat near the water, which was accommodated. Our server was very friendly and provided great service, even though it was a holiday weekend. They had a DJ playing music below, which really added to the ambiance. The view is truly breathtaking, you can't go wrong coming here.
My first time eating at this hotel restaurant was to be highlighted by 2nd Flr seating, to afford view of the beach and ocean. Was called prior to my arrival to be informed that the 2nd Flr would be closed due to a private event. While sitting on ground level, eating, for more than 1 hour, I did not see any private event activity on the 2nd Flr.
It was a beautiful place to have lunch Fontaine Bleu in general is a gorgeous Hotel. The food was amazing and so were the drinks, pricey but worth it compared to other places in Miami. Only downside was the upper deck seating where we were hoping to sit since it was our first time there was unfortunately closed due to a private event.
Went to La Cote because of upper level view, first was told it was available, then the hostess said couldn't accommodate that request because they will have a banquet upstairs. We stayed around till 4pm, there was no banquet or setting up for it going on at all, probably just made that up because they did not want to serve food on the upper level, but that's the only reason we went there!
I was hoping for a beach view as in the profile picture.
If you sit upstairs you may see some of the beach view but that part was closed when we came for lunch so all we could see were the bushes between us and the beach and the kitchen.
The food was good but there is no real view.
It is a pool side bar type of place.
Service was OK
If you want to be in the hustle and bustle dine at the bar or on the first floor. Very active crowd on the weekends when we go. Dine upstairs and you have a view of the pool area, beach and ocean. This is becoming my fav as I love looking at the ocean and beach and seeing the activities below around the pool area. Upstairs is also more quiet is you want to have good conversation. The Caesar salad with chicken is great value and very good. I had the seared tuna sandwich this last time and it was so so but the fries were delish. The onion rings were good too. The only real downside was the alcohol content in the pitcher of spicy caipirinha. Not very high and at $70 per pitcher it should have been good to above average. We will still go back and I will just ask for a better dose next time. Friendly staff but make an Open Table Reservation as lines do form.
Wow visiting a luxury resort for lunch was such a beautiful experience. The hotel itself is quite a visual experience! The service, view and food in the restaurant were just excellent. Veronica, our server made the meal extra special with her attentive service. We sat under a large umbrella, shaded from the sun yet had full view of the restaurant. Wonderful people watching spot while sipping sangria. Ahhh luxury...
