La Côte - Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Inspired by the lifestyle of the Côte d’Azur, the ambiance is both laid-back and lively. Enjoy the unspoiled, simple dishes of the South of France - tapas-style starters of warm haloumi cheese and raw bar selections; entrees of Moroccan spice lamb loin and Cheramoula prawns. Addictive desserts and fashionable cocktails round out the experience.
For parties larger than 10 people, please contact the restaurant.
To complement our wine list, there is a $30 corkage fee (per 750 ML) for two bottles and $70 for any additional bottle (per 750 ML).
Nice location, food was good, service was ok but not 4 or 5 star, music from the pool was too loud, overall good experience. Personally I would give a 3.5 stars
Service and food were great. The atmosphere was fun and entertaining as we were there on the weekend. Both the pool area and dinning area in La Cote were busy. We ordered a 1/2 bottle of nice Champagne, which was a great deal, even in Miami. The hotel manager, John Riccardo came over to check on us, as we were seated in front near the host stand. Overall, a great experience.
Food was delicious great service. Great atmosphere great music great people
Service was great -
And atmosphere fantastic! Food was good nothing outrageous but it said what each dish comes with yet when the food came some things were missing. For example the salad I ordered said it came with beets and mandarin oranges. There were no beets at all and there was 1 single orange segment.
It was good to say the very best. The service was amazing. The waiter was super attentive. The atmosphere is great with fun music and festivities going around. For the prices we paid, we were hoping for more food options and much more flavor. Overall good experience.
Noisy and mediocre food
They closed the restaurant and didn’t notify us. We showed up and were extremely disappointed.
The restaurant is marketed as having ocean views, in our reservation we requested an ocean view, when we arrived they told us the area with ocean views was closed. The appetizer (octopus) was ok: the potatoes were way too lemony. The entrees were ok, root vegetables were undercooked, pasta underwhelming. When I asked what beers they had on tap, the response was, "We only have one, a seasonal IPA." and that was it. If your goal is to be dazzled by poolside scenery and club music, this place is fine. If you care about ocean views, quality of food, or any offering of beers on tap, go somewhere else.
It wasn’t a busy day but there were some neighbors that were just too loud. The service wasn’t too great but I think our server had too many tables. However, we were still treated well. The food was delicious and fresh.
Great location with ‘top deck’ tables overlooking Miami Beach. Fortunately, some tables are shaded! Great choice for lunch with attentive, efficient service.
Great food, great service and a superb sea view from the upper deck. We went twice for lunch. Good menu selection.
Good for adults, but I would not bring my children here. Too much of a party scene.
Beautiful location. Delicious food. Excellent service from David.
Ambiance was incredible. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
The cost was a little pricey and at times the noise level was loud tonsay the least.
The service was excellent and the view was amazing! Had a fabulous lunch!
Great views , vegetable servings were small, other servings were generous, food quality and service is what you expect from a resort of this status but not above and beyond.
the food is great is the service is very good. Very nice environment .
Great food, service and right on the beach. Could not ask for anything better than that.
Staff was great in changing our seating assignment from downstairs (Fontainebleau pool area war zone) to upstairs in just 15 min on Mother's Day lunch. So, if you're looking for a great ocean view more quieter couple's dining, choose the upstairs seating. There's no ocean view from downstairs.
Staff was friendly and courteous, the food was absolutely delicious. The restuarant design is beautiful and spacious creates a relaxing atmosphere.
Great venue. I wanted to reserve the second floor but it was closed which was the only disappointment but overall it was just fantastic.
Nice presentation. Glad I had a reservation otherwise off the beach dining already had a 20 min wait and it was only noon. Staff were ok and food was ok. Nothing spectacular. My son enjoyed tuna tartare and they did a nice job on the ahi tuna sandwich. Had the vegetable flatbread which was ok. Salmon carpaccio was salty and almost like a smoked salmon plate without the smokiness. Shrimp cocktail tasted great and were presented nicely. Drinks are very expensive and better off with a wine or beer.
We had a lovely evening meal at La Cote, I would definitely recommend just a shame it closes at 7
Great view! Ok american food, but it is worth for the view
We were at the hotel for a conference- it was very loud, party music with people partying right next to you.
Not the setting for families or for "business"/conference lunch.
The food was very good, except we had to wait over 1 hour for our food...
Service team is very nice though.
It’s pricey for lunch but everything was outstanding. The upstairs view is beautiful. When you take into consideration how they source their fish (the hotel has its own fishing boat and salt water tanks) you can see why it might cost $200 for lunch for 2 with cocktails and wine. Enjoy!
Restaurant was okay, we weren’t staying at the hotel but were pretty much stalked from the moment we entered it because security didn’t want us in the pools when we were trying to just get a bite to eat. Then after we were done eating security was again all over us asking for proof of reservation and proof we are able to eat here lmao I mean why be on open table if you are going to harass people who want to eat here?
Food was only decent, especially for the price. On top of that, we had a reservation for 5:30pm, only to show up and be told that the kitchen closed in 10 minutes. We had to rush through a decently expensive dinner and did not get to enjoy ourselves at all. Would have been nice to know that they closed so early, or at least have seen it on the website.
Everything was great.
Way too many people. And food was terrible the second day of our vaca. The entire restaurant service and food and ambiance have deteriorated substantially since my visit last year
It was virtually impossible to get in, once at the entrance they said they had no tables available.
The service staff was kind but unexperienced in every way. Drinks from the bar were poorly made twice. Even when we could taste good quality in our meal, it lacked of taste and consistence.
In summary, we would have thought this as a less than ok experience if we were elsewhere and our bill wouldn’t have been so high (USD$300 for a lunch for 2) but when you add everything up, it was unacceptable.
Very disappointing since I made this reservation months ago due to location for sunset views from the top floor, which is where we were supposed to be seated. Upon arrival I was told by the hostess that she was sorry but they just closed the upstairs. I was not given a reason why and very upset that I wasn’t told this prior because I would have cancelled. Extremely overpriced with decent food.
Fisch war ausgezeichnet
The service was quite slow and the food was bland. We sat up top with a view of the ocean and well away from the obnoxiously loud music. Loved the table but not much else.
Sucked that the weather was rainy, can tell that any other sunny day, would’ve been the best
Perfect for lunch , terrace with view on the ocean and beachwalk, delicious coktails and good fish with excellent white wine .
The service was just great and we recommand this restaurant !
Great atmosphere and beautiful setting. The food was delicious and even if you are not on vacation, it certainly feels just like that!
Good foor and ambient, unless you are staying at this hotel, not reccomended
Restaurant supposely renowned but this is a scam. No view once we got there, we had to sit by the snack bar and eat by the pool. Fruits de mer was way too salty and nothing in the plates. This is such a shame
