We used to go to Chef Jacque's restaurant in Great Falls and were thrilled to find him again! The food is amazing - the portions are large and the prices are fair. Can't wait for the Peach Dinner!

We went for brunch during Restaurant Week. For the price, the value and quality of the food was very good. Service was excellent.

As always, La Côte d’Or offers delicious French cuisine in a cozy atmosphere with outstanding service. We enjoyed a Restaurant Week three-course weekend brunch for $22 per person. All of us were pleased with our choices! Since we were celebrating two birthdays, they put a candle on each dessert and sang Happy Birthday to us. We look forward to returning.

I love this place. It's such a charming small french restaurant. The food is always excellent. And they have a weekly menu special, which makes it fairly affordable for french food too.

La Cote D'Or resembles a neighborhood restaurant one would find in France. Attentive service , beautifully presented plates, and a noise level that one can hear their dining companion! I like the addition of garnishes as they are always a little extra taste treat with the accompanying food.

No children’s menu. Even for restaurant week it was $250 and nothing was overly memorable. They did make crepes for us for dessert tho which was very nice.

Martini good and generous. Dinner very good. Liked the simi-fixed menu. Service somewhat slow, but then again it was a Sat. evening seating and a full house. Coq au vin could use a better cut of chicken. Difficult to work around a small leg bone with grace at the dinner table. Sauce tasty but a little thin. Maybe a little more reduction. Table bread and butter excellent. Desserts outstanding. Yes, I would go back.

Parking difficult...!

We've passed by this restaurant a million times but never ventured inside. It was lovely! We went for brunch. When we arrived a bit after noon on a Saturday, it was empty. By the time we left around 1:30, it was starting to fill up. Although others have complained about the service, we found it to be excellent. We thought the inclusion of small touches, such as fruit cups to accompany our meals, was really nice. The service wasn't overbearing but they were attentive and responsive. Our party had a burger, quiche, and french toast, all of which were great. The french toast was the most distinctive and came with fruit puree and fresh berries on top. The prices were very reasonable. All in all, a really great experience. This restaurant deserves to be busier than it is!

The service is good and the ambiance is nice, but the cooking is Tre Ordinary and overpriced. The food is not really French cuisine, although there are some dishes that are made well. It is an overpriced restaurant for food that is uninspiring and bland. The bread was not a high quality baguette and was not warmed up, nor was the butter served properly; the pats were almost frozen when they got to the table. The sauces served are most ordinary and the cooking ordinary as well. The pate, which was not very flavorful, was served in a cold brick without crackers or other accoutrements, just a bit of celery root and some tiny pickles. The restaurant appears to be frequented by people in their 70s and 80s mostly, perhaps who have been regular local customers for years, hard to tell. A few younger folks came in to dine while I was there.

The staff and management all speak Spanish and frankly, the entree I had was more from local Spanish Cuisine than French. The one aspect that was great was their "Floating Island" dessert, it was well done.
(So maybe just visit for that) They have a lot of restaurant competition nearby with better food at better value. The servers try to get you to order extras because the "Three Course Prix Fixe" dinner does not include any drink or coffee, which it should. However, they have daily specials, which are probably a better deal. All in all, an uninspiring meal.

Two friends and I had lunch there. Two us had the delicious salmon quiche and the third had a vegetable omelet which said was very tasty. We had to wait a little bit for our main dish, but that was not a problem as we enjoyed the wonderful mussels soup with lots of sea food as an appetizer. We shared the excellent peach bread pudding and had tea and coffee. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although, the food is excellent, it's a bit pricey for lunch, so it's not a place where we would have lunch frequently. We will, however, return on an occasional basis.

The service was good, The quality of the food was uneven.
Caesar salad and coq au vin were quite good. The rockfish Marseillaise was over cooked and the sauce had very little taste, possibly because the ingredients had not merged.

Cote d'Or Restaurant is the next best thing to dining in a Parisienne cafe. We--two age 55+ and two millennials enjoyed a wonderful meal. Great food, service, ambiance, and a good value. I'm not a regular cocktail person but the French 45 was an amazingly delicious and fun way to kick-off our celebration. Will return soon, perhaps for the Bastille Day menu.

Jacques steaks are done to perfection with an excellent selection of cuts. His pom frites are the best in the area. Wine selection is excellent with his house wines a very good value. Highly recommend to those who like a Parisian bistro atmosphere.

This restaurant has lost all its allure... It feels old, the food has become worse than mediocre and while it’s not expensive by French restaurants ‘standard, it’s not worth it - a major disappointment to one’s wallet and palette. Only three tables occupied on a Friday evening and the food was darn near inedible (steak frites, veal, mussels, vegetable and salad all were v poor -
only the frites were good (actually excellent) . Needs a full refurbishment. Sad for what once was a classic

This is a wonderful little restaurant, conveniently located. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We dined there twice during our most recent brief trip to the Washington DC area. We had seafood including mussels and scallops -- all of which were exceptionally tasty and nicely presented.

Not worth 55 bucks pp. portion sizes small and most of the food needed salt. We had lamb med and it was def rarish. No sauce, just meat no seasoning. Creamed spinach was just that, cream and spinach..no cheese, no salt..a little bitter. The brozino was good, but if u have ever had brozino, its usually the whole fish and not just a half fillet. Now what was excellent were the french fries and the cheese platter, however theres not much to cook on that.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch for Father’s Day. We ordered the prix fixe menu which included smoked trout and cold cucumber soup for appetizers, salmon and a seafood crèpe for the main course, and chocolate mousse and a floating island for dessert. The service was professional and prompt. We look forward to our next meal at La Côte d’Or!

The food is absolutely fine, but the service is so bad. The waiter, who with all due respect cannot pronounce the name of the French dishes his restaurant is serving, couldn’t fathom an extra espresso shot in our two orders if caffe latte! He kept saying: we cannot do it because it is a machine that makes the latte. I had to explain to him that he can make an extra shot of espresso and “manually” add it to the latte, and charge it to our bill. It still took him a while and a couple of repetitions to get it. He also brought us clearly old berries as “fresh” fruits. When one of us said but they clearly look old, his answer was: we cut them yesterday and kept them in the fridge! Finally, the decor look so old and outdated. The chairs have sticky spots as if they have never been cleaned.
