Delicious food, great service and tasty beverages...my favorite go to for Fajitas, guacamole and Margaritas!
Was very nice. Service and food was excellent.
Wagyu beef Fajitas are outstanding as are the BBQ Queso and Guacamole. Maths are fabulous. Great food, great value and great service.
Nice place to eat in New Braunfels especially southwestern cuisine
Had the best meal of our trip here. The food was amazing - I had chicken fajitas and my husband had the steak fajitas. Our waiter, Sergio, was so friendly and was spot on with recommendations. If you have the chance, don’t miss eating dinner here!
We dined in last night 09/11/20. We have been here numbered times and love the food. The waitress must have been NEW and UNEXPERIENCED! She didn't know the menu and didn't know what plates had sides. We ordered an app. Brisket queso and she totally forgot to put it in the system to kitchen. I also ordered the chocolate tres leches to go and the cake was cut so tiny as if they had half the slice. There also was no toppings for it like you get in the restaurant. I ordered a second horchata borracha and waitress forgot to order it. She needs additional training and needs to learn service recovery. The manager did respond to my review and stated for us to ask for a manager next time. Sometimes your just so over it when the waitress forgets what you have ordered that you just want to go home & not complain to a manager. Take this review & do better for the next customer!
Great conversion of the old Mamacitas restaurant previously at this location. Food was great and interesting! Ambiance was good! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Love this place- from the food to the service - it’s consistently good.
Great quality food and superb service
Absolutely love the food and service! We’ve starting dining in again after using Curbside. Great food, no matter how you get it.
We had brunch first thing on a Sunday morning. The donut holes as an appetizer is a must. We had the Mexican eggs Benedict, it was incredible. Very different but all the flavors together are so good. I loved the jam with the cornbread bottom, and tender pork. Bloody Mary’s very spicy & great!
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Wow service (Sergio!!)
Wow. Wow. Wow.
The food was delicious, from the chips and salsa to the main entree. The sangria was amazing too
Birthday was great
The cilantro rice was mushy. there was tiny bit of enchilada sauce and white crumbly cheese. Another person in our party ordered the same thing and her plate looked great and her rice was good, not mushy.
Not too impressed 😐
Not fond of green rice we both had taco meals. The filling was good but tacos themselves too greasy.
Great food! The seafood and brisket enchiladas were very good and the brisket queso was addictive. Great service as always. I love that they take reservations.
The new menu is less pricey, which is never a bad thing.
The food is great and the atmosphere is fun yet quiet. Will be back again and again!
I loved the Interior Mexican cuisine! However, I felt that it was a bit pricey; especially for lunch.
Oh my goodness! We finally tried this amazing restaurant in our community and we’re IN LOVE! This is fine dining in a modern/traditional/casual - yes all complementing, atmosphere. The duck carnitas sopas were our starter - I could eat those for a delicious meal, but I shared. The Wagyu beef cheek barbacoa - my new favorite meal. This is NOT Mamcita’s and NOT your typical Mexican restaurant. This is chef-created specialty dishes with beautiful plating. Prices are very good for what you get. Our new favorite place in New Braunfels.
Exceptional modern Mexican cuisine similar to nuveau restaurants in posh areas of Mexico. Quite nice addition to the San Antinio Mexican restaurant scene.
Hate that they have no Mexican or Spanish rice. Only cilantro lime race and I don’t like it. They also have only one salsa. I wanted chipotle and they don’t have that ether. Menu is small and so are the “steaks”. Queso and chips are the best thing about it but other then that not much to justify the pricing and menu.
Incredible gourmet Mexican food including gourmet Tex Mex!!
Fabulous drinks and appetizers.
LOVE LOVE LOVE !!
We went to this restaurant when it first opened and it was great. Went a couple more times, then service and food quality started going down. Last two times, some entrees that came to our table were uneatable. They will send manager over and he just says he will talk to cooks - no compensation, very insincere apology. What would have been a great Mexican Eatery here has somehow fallen down. We won't go back.
This was our first time here we were thoroughly impressed with the servers knowledge of the menu. The quality of the food was excellent. And the speed of the service was top-notch. The size of the kids meals was surprisingly generous. We plan on this becoming a regular restaurant for our family.
AMAZING food. The only suggestion I have is to decrease the music level and consider changing to more instrumental (no words) music. The music was loud and the selection was more like what u would hear at a bar.
Great food and margaritas. Lovely decor.
The food was good but the noise level was so loud Our table had a really hard time hearing each other! We made dinner plans to catch up & could hardly carry on a conversation. My voice is raspy due to talking so loud! Please put some sound panels in the ceiling or something to soften the noise. We won’t return until that happens.
Birthday dinner with family!
Great food. Highly recommend the fajitas
Great food and wonderful atmosphere! Will definitely be back soon❤️
Chips and salsa were good - I had the Del Mar Enchiladas and felt like the best part of the plate was the cilantro rice it came with- it had quite a bit of cilantro, but I like cilantro so it was good. The enchiladas seemed like they had been made with cold tortillas - inside the enchiladas was quite a bit of crab (but just shredded, no lump crab) and just a couple of tiny pieces of shrimp. Our server was not very friendly. If we go back I will try something that is not an enchilada.
Food was fantastic & waiters suggestion of the tequila flight was fun & delicious
Amazing steak fajita salad!
My husband had enchiladas and I had the barbacoa. The food was presented well but both dishes were very bland. The barbacoa was served on a corn purée which was tasty but not a good compliment for the rich and relatively tasteless barbacoa.
The service was great and the ambiance inviting. It is unfortunate the food did not measure up.
We dine here frequently and always have a great experience. Hard to believe this restaurant is only 4 months old. It may possibly be one of best in New Braunfels. I highly recommend it.
service was a little slow on drinks, overall experience was good and we will return
Great dining experience. The menu has unique choices that are not your every day options at most Tex Mex restaurants. Service was wonderful.
Nothing but good things to say about this place. The setting was very nice, service was superb, and food was incredible. We had the brisket queso, snapper tacos, and steak tampiquena with an enchilada. Our server was an older gentleman and he was superb. We forgot our leftovers and ran them out to us as we were leaving. There are lots of Mexican food restaurants between SA and Austin, this one is easily at the top of my list.
Great food awesome service from the door to the table and back out the door. Eric the GM is awesome
