Better than your average Tex-Mex, and a nice gluten-free menu.
First dinner out since vaccinated ! It was fun upbeat and great food and service. Had the veggie enchilada with a carrot mole which was awesome. Husband had the Chile relleino which he love. Crisp fresh tastes and nicely presented.
Wow, just wow. I did not expect such a fine dining experience but that’s what is was.
The steak fajitas were delicious. It’s probably the best thing on the menu. Service was great. The only downfall is no longer have horchata which was the only reason why we dine at la cosechca. Overall 4-5 stars.
Service was excellent! Very friendly and accommodating to our needs (we switched seating from booth to regular four top table). The people there were the best part of the experience.
I would not describe the food as Mexican or TexMex flavor, more of a progressive interpretation of TexMex. Margaritas and Bloody Mary were not to our taste, kind of bland. Wagyu beef is the only option for beef fajitas. Since someone else was picking up the tab, I chose something off the brunch menu. Very colorful and lovely presentation of food, very flavorful, but not my style/taste. The habanero bacon was really just thick cut regular bacon, no spice or pepper flavor, but there was a good serving of it. Chips and salsa before the meal were better than average.
The restaurant itself is very neat clean and pretty to look at. We sat outside on the porch, which was nice. Only half the porch is covered (we were in the shade).
This is a very nice place, it's just not a place that I plan on returning to in the future. My mother enjoyed it. She sits on her front porch and waves at the passing cars on I-35.
Even on a crowded Saturday evening, service was quick, food arrived swiftly and was perfect.
First time out to attend church and dine afterward with friends in about a year.
Best fajitas we’ve ever had! Wagyu beef...are you kidding me?! Medium rare, melt in your mouth, goodness. Worth the money!
Don’t miss the brisket queso to begin your meal and the amazing chocolate tres leches cake for dessert. Great upscale Mexican food in NBTX.
Never a disappointment and always delivers incredible service and amazing food.
Best beef fajitas! Service was outstanding! The waitress was very attentive and kind!!!
Waiter Sergio was a bit distracted and could use better attitude and enthusiasm when working. He could also check on his tables a bit more often
The new outdoor patio is an excellent socially distant alternative to the inside, which is beautifully decorated BTW. Food and service were both excellent. Highlight recommend the sangria margarita!
Took dad there for the first time. Drinks were refreshing. Appetizers were amazing. Guacamole and chargrilled oysters. Ordered the pound of fajitas med rare came out well done. U don’t cook waygu well done everyone knows that. But they got it corrected in under 2 minutes. Always satisfied!!!
Made reservation and were seated immediately. Sangria swirl margarita was awesome with house made sangria. Barbacoa tacos were tender and delicious.
The whole meal was Spot-on.... well done by the whole staff!
Our last minute stop before we left South Texas, and we were satisfied! Customer service is amazing to servers, hostesses, and busser. The wagyu beef fajitas were different, but if you’re okay with different this meal will be juicy, tasty, and new. Guacamole was a little underwhelming but the salsa was yummy with the tiniest kick to it. Chips were warm and bubbly. Would recommend to my family in Fort Worth!
First visit. Very nice ambiance. Overall the food was very good with one exception. The chicken fajitas had no seasoning and was very bland except for the ancho-butter they provided.
We came here for our third time for my dads birthday and we had so much fun. The food is so delicious, I highly recommend the wagyu fajitas and street corn they’re out of this world. The margaritas are my favorite of any restaurant we go to and the restaurants decor is so beautiful. I can’t wait to go back :)
The chips and salsa Amazing!
AMAZING wagu beef fajitas! You must get them! So expensive but worth every penny!!
One of the better Mexican food restaurants around town.
Server was great
Queso was delicious
Margaritas were strong
We will be back!
One of our favorite places in town. New menu missing some on the old and more interesting choices. Always friendly and good service.
My wife and I hadn't been to La Cosecha in about a year. The Wagyu fajitas were fantastic and melted in your mouth. Margaritas were great. As busy as this place was you'd never thought we were still in a pandemic.
The food here was amazing that we went back for brunch two days later. We ended up having the same waitress Victoria who remembered us which was amazing! We have definitely found our New Mexican spot and will be returning over and over again!
Not a true TexMex restaurant. I had the beef fajitas - beef was good but not near enough condiments. Margarita was nothing special.
Staff is awesome! Food never fails. Love this place.
Everyone’s food was great and the service was great as well!
Excellent mexican food but very pricey. Rice and beans with my tacos cost an extra $6, and the tequila is way overpriced.
Excellent service. Drinks on point. Yummy food.
Wonderful! As always. Truly one of my most favorite places to eat in town.
We reserved a table last minutes, and upon our arrival we were promptly seated. Our server took our drink order, but did not return for over 20 minutes. When he did, he informed us of a staff shortage and apologized in advance for longer wait times. He kindly and professionally set up our expectations, which is rare. But the food was excellent, along with the service. I’ll definitely be going back.
My favorite place to eat in New Braunfels! Best Margarita and Fajitas!!
This is our new favorite! Food is amazing! Service is awesome too!
We were still under boil water, so you could not obviously get water but they offered soft drinks and the bar was open and food was outstanding! Their food is always great, but it was perfect tonight! Oysters, fajitas, enchiladas, and LOVE the snapper is wonderful with the crunchy rice. It is served in a broth with a rice patty. Kinda of like a hash brown, but it’s rice. Sergio has our drinks and food down and knows what we like, we don’t even hardly have to ask for anything. So glad they were able to open back up and lead us back to some normalcy!!!
Considering this was the first day open after the big freeze, everything was great. They handled the crowd very well. The food was great. The lack of ice and water due to the utility issues was understandable.
Always a great experience!
Top notch food. They use quality ingredients and have unique dishes. Their fajitas are the best I’ve ever had. Service is excellent.
This is one of our favorites in New Braunfels. Love the atmosphere, drinks, and food! They is rarely a wait but I’m not sure how!
Disappointing overall. Not the typical Mexican food you crave in Texas, Crispy beef taco horrible, del mar seafood enchilada , without seafood and the fajita nachos were not good, however the beef and chicken fajitas were good. Suggest they change out the waygu beef
Had been getting posts on Instagram of their food and it all looked delicious so we decided to take a drive up to new braunfels to ck it out. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely recommend
