The menu at La Comida is nearly endless with choices of burritos, enchiladas, tacos and so much more. The Hamburguesa Mexicana is a hit and comes loaded with avocado, jalapeno bacon, Oaxaca cheese and a side of sweet potato fries. Finish it off with a prickly pear margarita or one of the tequila flights.

Don't know if they want to open another location, but IF they do, I hope it's in the South Valley! Sea bass tacos are excellent, and so is their red (roasted) salsa. Chips are sturdy while still crispy. La Comida sits high on my Uptown list!
Our server Liz was fantastic, the food was super tasty, the margarita delicious !!! WE will definitely be back!
We sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing at helping us understand the menu and assisting us in ordering the best food choices.
The food was great and great service. The bar area is so cool looking. Only complaint was one of our drinks did not taste good and they close at 10.
Stopped in for appetizers and some drinks. The waitress recommended the spicy cucumber margarita and it was fabulous. The food was excellent too and great service. Definitely recommend!!
Spent $300 for four people to eat one round of shots to appetizers that everybody got their own entrée. It’s very trendy and hip but the food has very little flavor it’s a great place for drinks that’s about it
Cute spot and one of the more affordable meals in the area but food was nothing special. Would’ve thought the margaritas and guacamole would’ve been great but maybe the worst we’ve ever had.
2 out of 3 of the meals in our group were pretty good. The fajitas were not good. The shrimp tasted frozen and the dish does not come out sizzling. Plus we asked for the vegetables to be charred. They were far from that. The service is terrible. Took 15 minutes after being seated, for our server to come to our table. Still water was poured into our glass of sparkling water. It wasn’t busy at all, so no excuse for bad service.
Food was amazing! Vibe was nice, but the drinks were very weak, could even tell I had alcohol in them at all. I hope they can change that and I’ll be back.
This place is amazing! Best Mexican food downtown.
Great food, service!
The restaurant has a really interesting and fun ambiance. Their fusion of traditional Mexican recipe with modern flare add to the excellent and quality taste of their food. Not to mention their staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Overall I loved this place and will definitely be a returning customer.
Good food good margaritas
Very good, personable service. Delicious and filling. I would return.
Had a blast for my birthday dinner with all my family. The food was delicious, hospitality was just like being at your tio’s house & They always have the drinks on point. Will be coming back soon.
Food was excellent. Service was top notch. First time here and really enjoyed
We use La Comida on our Downtown Foodie Tour and they are always great to work with.
Everything was so great! Thank you for taking care of my team. We will definitely be back!
My husband and I went for date night last night. We are from Texas (but currently live in Vegas) so very picky about our salsa. Well it was outstanding. We had fajitas, steak and chicken, both of which were very good. This is a cool place and worth going for date night or any night. Can’t wait to go again.
Everything we wanted to try here was either out of stock or no longer on the menu. The service was excellent. The food was just okay.
Great spot for authentic Mexican. Off the beaten path. A gem.
La Comida is an awesome spot...lively vibe, friendly service, and delicious food and margaritas...our favorite bite are their poblano nachos...i recommend La Comida
Went with a group of friends. Food and drinks are good! The only downside is that they don’t allow you to “mix” taco selections.
Wait staff was less than attentive
They have reservations available until 9pm but expect to close the kitchen and bar at 9pm. We had a reservation for 845pm and were rushed the entire experience. We could only get one drink as they closed the bar. Would not go again. Guacamole was good, the rest of the food was average.
Fantastic sea bass tacos with fresh guacamole and chips.
Service was fantastic, Food was delicious, Drinks well prepared & firm. Will be coming back soon.
This little hideaway place was amazing food! The staff was also amazing!
Food was outstanding & our Server was awesome & very friendly, will be coming back soon.
Very friendly great food -delicious and authentic - my spicy margarita was way above par
Was a absolute wonderful experience. The service the bartenders even the girl that checked us in was absolutely wonderful I can’t wait to bring my crew there!
Staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Nice food and drink menu. Very clean inside. Seating is a little different, as most tables have benches for seating, but still a comfortable environment. I will go back to eat there again.
Amazing Authentic Mexican food! The drinks were also very good and the food came out fast.
As a local to Las Vegas, I rarely hit the Strip or Fremont (too touristy)...the other night I had some friends in from out of town who wanted to check out Fremont and have dinner. I saw that La Comida had some good reviews, and decided to give it a try. The ambience was very cool, and it is around the corner from the Griffith (so, a bit off the main tourist section). The service was good, the salsa and guac were outstanding!! It was a bit pricey, but not crazy for that area. I would absolutely go back again...
Took my friend for her birthday her in a group of 3. The server was nice, but a major mess up was that he didn't acknowledge my friends birthday... Which I made sure to mention in my opentable notes, I even mentioned it aloud near the end of our dinner with him right next to us and he didn't even say happy birthday.
I know that birthdays are not something a restaurant is required to honor, but c'mon it's definitely appreciated by guests. Especially when we could have went to Lindo and had much better food and had a great birthday welcome. Which brings me to the food. It was definitely subpar. The chips were good but they were very cheap with the salsa, such little bowls. I asked the server what his favorite menu item was and he offered the pork shoulder which I thought was disappointing. It tasted like a bad attempt at Mexican BBQ. And the queso fundido had a weird sweetness to it.
The margaritas we got tasted great, they came in cute mason jars but not to much alcohol inside of them.
I still feel bad that my friends birthday wasn't even mentioned :(
I highly recommend the queso fresco tacos and the enchiladas de pollo. Great Mexican food that downtown LV needed.
I ordered the burrito and it was mostly rice, which was disappointing. My friend ordered a chicken served in parchment and it was AMAZING!
Could be better.
First, this is an inventively designed, comfortable space. Kudos to the designer and builder. Numerous interesting design points.
We had very good service from our point of arrival to departure.
Very good margarita list but those we tried were a bit too far on the sweet side. Good table salsa that really should be great (definitely needed salt and a bit more to it). The queso fundido is worth a try - but also needed a bit of salt. Nice mix of flavors there however. Pedestrian corn tortillas served with the queso. While the flauntas were quite good, the enchiladas in mole were lacking. First, the chicken inside needed work. An addition of chilies, onion, perhaps a bit of garlic and some herbs would have been welcome - essentially what the chicken should have been stewed with. I would have expected a better mole. This one lacks depth and complexity. And as much as I enjoy pickled onions (the garnish on top) their flavor only clashes with the mole. The acidity necessary to balance the sweetness of the mole should be in it, not on it.
La Comida is worth a visit. We will return to check out other menu items and I'd recommend others doing so.
Be sure to splurge for a bowl of guacamole, it is supreme. The tacos were excellent as well, and my margarita was very good too. Great service, and a heck of a tequila bar round it all out. I'll be back for sure!
Great drinks... Very original. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and had fantastic recommendations.
