   Restaurant seemed short staffed. The Maitre d’ was outside arranging tables and saw us walk in. She seemed to take her time to finally come in and seat us. We had a reservation but almost left. The waitstaff were pleasant except they seemed to be stretched thin and were absent for an extended period of time. Service was just ok. We had to ask for and wait for silverware to eat our entrees and ask for the the check when we were done. It made me wonder if the automatic 20% tip is the cause. Also, the chicken parmigiana appetizer was way over cooked making it very difficult to cut or take bites of the appetizer.

   Poor service. Had to wait 30 min for them to seat us, we had a resevation. Askinf many time for items not coming to table

   Excellent experience. The service was great, friendly staff ensured that we were well taken care of. Dinner was delicious, with all of their great pasta options there's nothing bad on the menu.

   Everything was very tasty, fresh quality and ample serving sizes. Arancini and brussels sprouts were delicious, the Vodka pasta and Lamb Bolognese were excellent, and the doughnuts and especially the Olive Oil Cake were delectable! Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Next time we'll ask to be seated in the main dining area - a bit more ambiance. Very much enjoyed our visit, and reasonably priced for that area of DC!

    One of the best restaurants we have been at in DC. A gem and we look forward to returning when we are in the city again.
