Our first experience at La Cocina was disappointing. We were hoping that we would at last have a good Mexican restaurant in North Scottsdale but it was not to be. Service was good but the food was very disappointing. I don’t believe that we will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised! Starting with the house margarita, which was very good, we enjoyed some chips and salsa. We each had the chile relleno which stuffed with cheese and lightly fried. One of the best I have ever had. And I have had a lot of chile rellenos. Served with rice and refried beans. The dinner was preceded by an absolutely delicious chicken tortilla soup. We will definitely go back!

La Cocina was delicious! We started with the albondigas soup which was so good. It had tons of flavor. I had the shrimp tostada and it was divine! Seriously, it was the tastiest shrimp dish I've had. The guys had the fajitas and they too, were so yummy. The meats were smoky and savory. We will be back regularly. Oh and Brock was our wonderful server - he and everyone took great care of us the whole evening.

5 of us local Ladies were celebrating our friends birthday! Garett was an excellent server who made our experience exceptional! It was all 5 star! Would recommend. Views are beautiful, atmosphere pretty, food substantial and delicious! I had the fajitas! Definitely try it out
