Definitely will return for the good food and service. Good aalue too. The charcuterie platter was ample for 4. The Lamb chops were delicious. Decor is a little dated with carpet instead of hard floors but still nice. On-line I only found wines by the glass menu. When I contacted them in a message asking to see the complete wine list, I got a short response "its on-line and there is a $25 corkage fee". So, I brought my own by turns out they have a nice wine by the bottle list, and it wasn't necessary to BYOB. In general, a great place and plenty of parking at the San Sebastien winery (Cocina is on the 3rf floor).

We booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary. It was a Thursday evening and the dining room was completely empty (at 7 PM). This concerned us. During our meal, two other couples joined us, but that seemed to be it for the night. Notwithstanding, we had a very good meal. For starters, I had the warm pear salad and my husband had the escargot in pastry. He said it was the best he had ever had. I enjoyed the few wine-soaked pears in my salad, and while the presentation was gorgeous, it was bland with too little dressing and bleu cheese. For the mains, he had beef filets which we both agreed were perfect. I ordered the gambas shrimp. The dish was very good, but will not be memorable. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but unable to actually describe food and flavors in a manner that helped us to make our choices. The dining room is dark and feels dated in terms of colors, furnishings, carpeting, and lighting. My take is that it's intended to capture a rustic winery. Overall, it was a nice experience, but it's not a place that enticed us to return.

We had a party of 6 with one waitress and she did a phenomenal job. Extremely attentive and helpful. I arrived last so I unfortunately didn’t capture her name. Food was delicious and the ambiance was amazing.

My wife and I just completed a long weekend in St. Augustine. The highlight of that trip was our dining experience at La Cocina. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was absolutely excellent as was the San Sebastian wine. We would like to give a special, well deserved, shout out to our server, Javier who was more than excellent. He made our dining experience truly memorable! We will be visiting St. Augustine again in the not too distant future and will be certain to dine at La Cocina again. Many thanks for a wonderful evening!

What a wonderful evening we had! Our server, Gina, was excellent. Our meal was served at a perfect pace. The escargot appetizer was the best I've ever ordered anywhere previously. My husband and I were quite pleased with our filet mignon entrees and accompaniments. Lattes were also quite special. The background music was quietly perfect dinner music. This was our first time dining here, and we do look forward to returning.

The host was sullen, no energy. Cracking his knuckles the whole way to the table. Biting his finger nails/fingers in his mouth later on. The server Gina was very professional and thoughtful. She was great. Nice touch with the customized reserved sign in the table and happy birthday plate for dessert. The pear salad was nice, but could have been great; was almost all lettuce- some more Gorgonzola and pear would have been great. Both filet mignon were fantastic. Ambiance is weird. It was like being in a library, too quiet. Maybe louder music when it’s so slow. Overall, it was a nice celebratory dinner and Gina kept it that way. TY!
