   The food tasted great and the server was very nice. Me and my wife are both Muslims, we got virgin drinks (Mocktails) and we were very specific about not drinking alcohol when ordering. I know that mistakes happen but this mistake was a major one that is unacceptable especially since that was the first time I drank alcohol in my life. In the end, I wish we had some sort of price taken off the check for the inconvenience or the managers come speak with us but instead we were just stared at by every employee in the restaurant.

   Loved the Cesar salad. The picana was a little charred but otherwise good the chicken and asparagus tasted great 😊

   I wish I could give this place 5 full stars but it was hard to do due to the service. While everything was delicious getting service and food was so incredibly slow. While the place was busy it was not full and still no justification as to why it was slow. Our server would forget our drinks and often times we were chasing him. Our steaks came out about 45 + mins after our appetizers and we couldn’t believe it especially since we came prepared and ordered everything when he asked us about drinks. Again, beautiful place, great atmosphere and delicious food but gotta work on the customer service and service in general. Our whole dinner experience was well over 2 hrs and not by choice, which is disappointing when we had plans to explore a bit of San Juan afterwards.

   We came as a party of eight and had an outstanding dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, friendly, and seamless. The ambiance is stylish and vibrant, perfect for both a night out or a special occasion. Our table enjoyed a variety of dishes — the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the salted salmon was a standout. The sides, especially the rice and fried plantains, were delicious and complemented the mains beautifully. We also ordered a bottle of wine, which paired nicely with the meal and rounded out the experience. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and it’s clear the team at La Central takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be returning.
