   We booked La Cave for dinner after travelling from Limerick for an overnight in Dublin. When we arrived it was obvious that the proprietor had not taken any notice of social distancing for diners. Tables were set tight against each other, and there was little or no effort at the recommended 2 or even 1 meter separation. We were offered seats at the counter, but were left with no choice but to leave for reasons of personel safety.

   Such lovely ambience and our lovely russian waitress attended to our every need. I had the snails, duck and creme brûlée and it taste of French authenticity was outstanding would thoroughly recommend. Xox

   Excellent pre-Christmas shopping lunch ! The sirloin steak and my two-fish main courses were on the button delicious. Sauvignon Blanc a good companion. Top value !

    The perfect spot for a catch up with friends or a romantic evening, the place feels like stepping into a little French neighborhood restaurant, food was exceptional and value was incredible - this will definitely be the new local spot for me!

    I really enjoy La Cave every time I go. And again I wasn't disappointed. Their early bird menu is great value and fantastic quality. Love the wine selection and service is always great.

    Fabulous food. Really tasty and a good price. I personally didn’t like eating ‘underground’ but others will like it. Was very cold - think kitchen door may have been open so draught blew through. Worth a visit though

    The place is really unique, comfy and quiet. Large variety of choice in the menu, among which many types of wines. The food was absolutely amazing and at an affordable price. The waiter was very polite and friendly and took care of everything. I highly appreciated the special touch of the candle on the dessert for my husband's birthday.     I cannot recommend La Cave enough. Myself and a friend had a fabulous evening, with delicious food and a multitude of wine to choose from. We were well looked after by Gerard who made my friends birthday celebration extra special with a French birthday song at desert and a complimentary drink. The service was impeccable and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic evening. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for some wine tasting!

    Our family is delighted to be able to visit our favourite restaurant again. The service is always the very best. The food is excellent and the portions are sensible. Their Wine of the Month is always quality wine and never disappoints and it’s very affordable. The outstanding customer service is what brings us back again and again. We love to leave the staff their well earned tip. DO TIP THEM. THEY WORK HARD AND THEY DESERVE IT! Superb dining and an evening out that offers great enjoyment.

    This is a very good French bistro ; the type everyone falls in love with and is becoming increasingly difficult to find even in France. The choices are classic and all are prepared beautifully. The wines offered are well considered and great values. The service is friendly and professional. Sometimes you find a place you could eat well at everyday and this might be it.

    Been here many times for wine and cheese board - always enjoyed! This time we had food which was excellent The wine selection is excellent - we had couple of bottles of a Malbec. We have to compliment Regina only her first week - what a lady! Look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

    La Cave is my favourite spot in Dublin for lunch, unbelievable value for money. The portion size of mussels was very generous for a lunch starter, and the fish was cooked superbly. A couple of blissful hours in Paris; a great way to spend a lazy afternoon off. I cannot wait to go back.
