Excellent service and made a wonderful specialized birthday dessert.
Wonderful food and wonderful people! we have come here several times on our visits to Punta Cana.
Super cool decor. Food was very good. Staff doesn’t speak much English so be patient. But overall I would recommend.
Menu is great! Just need to work on having better waiter staff.
La Cava Kitchen and Bar is a charming restaurant. The customer service is excellent as is the decor and use of space. My friend and I sat outside to enjoy the warm breeze and people watch during our dinner last week. The seafood was good, and they had a nice selection of wines to choose from. This is a good place for a dinner date. We had a positive experience due to the attentive service received. Thank you to team at La Cava!
Valentines dinner at La Cava was wonderful! Great food and service.
Service was extremely slow for what we ordered. Almost missed transportation back to hotel. Food was very good.
Very tasty food! Ordered the catibias for appetizers and the three way tuna for main dish. Service was excellent too.
La Cava has always been our favorite restaurant at the Village in Punta Cana.
Great food and very good service!
When in Punta Cana it is worth to visit!
Very happy to see that management keeps putting attention to details!!
I could not even have dinner, maded the reservation and when I and my family show up, the said the plate was US 100 for each one and US50 fir children, that was a surprise, and they said they could not do anything to help us, so we left. Really bad service.
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Ambiance is great.
One of the best places in PUNTA CANA!!! We love it ❤️
The food was really exquisite however staff needs to be more trained.
Excelente ambiente , finas atenciones & una Gastronomia impresionante !
Best food we ate in Punta Cana! There are so many options- lots of really interesting foods. We are here during the off-season, so a reservation was completely unnecessary. We both LOVED our dinners.
I had the D’Moon sushi roll and the Salmon cooked medium. (They were out of the Red Snapper - which was a bit of a disappointment until I tried the salmon.). My husband had the Hot Ceviche and the steak.
Everything was perfect. Thanks so much for a wonderful meal!
The tuesday latin jazz band was excelent, you ought to have it every month.
Favorite restaurant in the village. Excellent staff and delicious food & drinks.
Great experience. Food, drinks, service. Risotto Nero, Taquitos de Churrasco, Acevichado Caliente, Tostadas de Atún, everything was delicious.
Will definitely be going again.
La delicadeza de los platos, la deliciosa combinación de texturas y sabores así como la maravillosa atención del equipo de sala hacen de este lugar un "must" en Punta Cana.
Wonderful sushi and seafood! Went twice during our stay
Extremely slow service. Waiters just stood around.
We visited the Village while we were staying nearby at the Westin Resort. It was extremely quiet. The food was good, nothing spectacular, not a lot of choices nearby. I recommend the prosciutto flatbread. It was very tasty.
We went for our daughters 14th birthday. The staff made it very special for her and the food was amazing!
Took husband for birthday dinner, thought they would sing happy birthday, but they didn’t do anything. Not even tell him happy birthday. Food was great though, service nothing special.
Every time we visit Punta Cana, La Cava is our first stop. What else can you ask for? Amazing food, ambiance and great service. Highly recommended.
We came here for my birthday dinner. There were 9 people and we had a reservation. They seemed overwhelmed as if we just walked in without a reservation. The food took a very long time (over 30 minutes) to come. Everyone was served at the same time. The Nero Risotto was very salty. The mushroom risotto had another ingredient that wasn't listed on the menu. The pear flatbread was small and more of an appetizer size. I passed up a seafood restaurant to come here, especially 20 minutes away from our resort. I should've kept my original reservation.
La Cava Ended on less than sweet note...
Not quite sure what happened at La Cava. We organized our final evening here with high expectations coming from several recommendations! We ordered 2 appetizers on the menu that they were out of but the edamame with lime were very good. True to the reviews, the Salmon was truly Amazing! Eager to cap the night off with a final dessert prior to kicking off the New Years Resolutions, we asked for a dessert menu. Our server told us there was only 1, and we could have coconut flan. We ordered it, only to be told they were out of it. Thinking perhaps we were misunderstanding our sweet server because she only spoke Spanish and we unfortunately do not, we asked another server about dessert. We were told there was a dessert menu but then he too came back and said “no we could only have ice cream.” (Well that was 1 more than we were offered before.) For the first time in our Punta Cana experience, we felt they needed our table or perhaps a client with a large bar tab. Given the number of menu items that were not available, a visit from the manager would have left a sweeter taste in my mouth!
was able to make reservations on the same day approx. 4 hours before and then the restaurant was full upon arrival. awesome food and wonderful service.
We had a party of seven and David took great care of us. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. It is the best restaurant we have been to in Punta Cana and we have been here a week. You must go!
Everything was outstanding
Will come back with friends soon
Excellent service and the food was devine. When we arrived it was raining and got greeted by the car with umbrellas. The Ceviche Peruano is perfect, so fresh. Overall a great dinner with a feel good music and drinks.
Excelent food and service, we had the black risotto and the cava burger. Our waiter was exceptional.
Definitely will come back.
attentive and outstanding service from the waiters
Easily and consistently among the very best places to eat at Punta Cana.
La Cava's atmosphere is sophisticated while, at the same time, welcoming, adding up to a very pleasant dining experience.
The combination of quantity and great atmosphere more than compliments the excellent food quality.
Comida y Servicio Excelente . Super recomendado !
The food food was really good but the service terrible. We probably were unlucky with a particular waiter but that made the evening a little less enjoyable. By terrible I mean: bringing the wrong dish, and being reluctant to replace it with the one ordered (not being picky, but blue cheese for a 5 years old is an hard sale). Forgetting to bring some dishes, but still adding them to the bill as well as the the wrong dish and replacement. Just standing there and not helping when a cup of water spilled on the table etc...
Great experience. Highly recommend
