   I made a reservation for La Casita today and went all the way there only to find out that it was not open. The staff there was slightly apologetic but offered nothing for the inconvenience aside from the recommendation that we could try the lobby bar, which we did. The service there was incredibly slow. It took about 45 minutes to get our order taken, which was finally done by the hostess (on the 3rd time I went to ask if the server was around). Aside from bringing us our food, we were pretty much ignored the entire time - we ordered our drinks at the bar, grabbed our own menus to reorder, etc. The space is lovely, the food and drinks were delicious and all in all, I would consider coming back if not for terrible service, not to mention the extreme inconvenience and expense of traveling downtown.

   No hostess in sight, a whole rave going on.. a bunch of people sitting on top of the tables partying, no workers or food in sight, I don’t even think this is a restaurant?

   Well when I called to ask a question about my reservation it was extremely hard to get a hold of someone. When I got there the hostess was not friendly and acted as if it was pain for her have to find a table for my party even though we had a reservation. After 30 min of waiting for a server we finally went up to a waiter our selves to order drinks and appetizers as well as food. After an hour of not getting our drinks or food we went to the bar ourselves and was able to get drinks that way. Once we told the server about no drinks or food he gave us a round of shots and then took another 30 min to bring our cocktails and appetizers….. now going on hour 2 only one person got their food so we waited another 20 min before deciding it was just time for us to go……. It was only then 2 more plates came out! This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time or money.

   Cool place to enjoy a some small appetizers and cocktails before you begin your night. Staff was really accommodating and professional. Ambiance is great with amazing views. I would definitely recommend to visit.

   A sunny day in LA for my birthday required an outdoor celebration. One of the WORST services my family and I experienced for a Saturday brunch. The food and drinks were delicious but it took over an hour to get our food and there was any communication by our server or apology. There were 2 other parties at the time who were there before us and 1 party for their food after us. Overall, cute ambiance but terrible service.

   My husband and I came here after going to a show in DTLA. We LOVED it! I made a reservation beforehand, and we were seated immediately. We chose to sit upstairs, so we had a beautiful view of the pool and the landscaping around it. I couldn't have asked for more. The food was soooooooo tasty and good. We ordered a half dozen of oysters, the baked brie with fig jam (yum yum), the Heirloom Tomato & Buffalo Mozarella ( this was AMAZING, I'm not sure what the sauce was on the tomatoes, but both my husband thought it was delicious), and the Wild Mushrooms Piadina, which is like a flat pizza. It was super tasty too, maybe just a tad on the rich side, but still amazing. We shared a bottle of wine, and it was great. I can't say enough about the ambience. We sat upstairs, which has a railing of rosemary, and the pergola over the top floor has beautiful, ornate lanterns for the lighting. Overall, I can't say enough about how great our experience was. I would highly recommend going here for any reason. Date night is great, and I can see hanging out with a group of friends also being really fun. Go check it out!

   Hello I normally do not write a review unless it's essential. But I am disappointed that my reservation was declined due to a private event on 12/17 at 8:30pm in which I was not notified ahead of time nor accommodated in any way. I was told by the hostess at 9:30pm the reservation would be re open so upon my return once again I was denied by the hostess that the private event was going longer and the reservations were null and void. I find this completely unprofessional for the restaurant and the application that allowed reservations and inconvenience my Birthday evening and I am sure others.

    7:45 reservations 8:45 Been here an hour, no drinks or appetizers (chips n salsa). Ordered guacamole with it and it didn’t come. Wasn’t the waiters fault, the flow was just off. Asked for manager. 8:47, Entrees came before guacamole & didn’t come at the same time as significant others food. 9:00 manager came and apologized and gave us discount Conclusion: Food is good. Flow is not good. Employees look like they hate their jobs. Worth your money & time? Unfortunately no, even though the food is good They resolved it and bought their 3 stars, my significant other said they would give them 2 stars

    The OpenTable Reservation did not process on their end, so we had to wait 30 minutes at the bar for them to prepare our table. Then I waited more than 45 minutes for an entree to come out after my partner received her main course. After all of this, only my main entree was comped. Do not recommend going.

    They didn’t actually check vax cards and IDs as is now legally required in LA City, and the staff frequently took their masks down, especially when they thought the Health Dept would not be inspecting.

    I’ve been all around LA trying different restaurants and honestly the food wasn’t great. I couldn’t finish any dish that was served just bc there wasn’t much flavor. And for a $400 dinner I expect to have outstanding food. I won’t be back.

    The best new restaurant in Los Angeles! Food is phenomenal! We did family style dinning which is the way to go! Drinks were great! We did the a mix of everything! I know was new restaurant but service was a bit mixed but I understand the kinks of new restaurant!

    Fantastic food, bright ingredients, solid and classic Italian menu. Very ambitious drinks (I did not partake but I saw some dry ice and smoke happening at other tables) and lovely design. Didn't love the art but that's a personal thing that did not impact my food.

    This is a new restaurant at Hotel Fig they just switched up. I was there on their 9th night lol. The food was delicious and the staff was really going above and beyond. I love our waiter Alec, super attentive and had great knowledge of the menu. Only negative feedback was checking in. They had like 4 ppl at the host stand but none of them were doing anything and took forever to seat us, it was weird! Possibly some ppl training or whatever so either way overall a good experience and I will be back!

    An evening Hollywood experience that you can expect from LA. The restaurant has an old Hollywood feel with a modern twist. Perfect for date nights and long overdue get togethers. The customer service was excellent with a great backstory and recommendations. Cocktails are interesting and pleasant. The food on the other hand was like butter, it melts in your mouth. Try the carpaccio, beet salad, grilled octopus, bone marrow pasta! Definitely will be back!

    The food and service here are outstanding. The cuisine is creative and beautifully presented. Lots of options for all tastes - vegan onward. It is very expensive but mostly worth it. My biggest concern is how crowded and loud it is. The former is just an LA thing but noticeable. The noise, though is awful. Especially with masks - you just can't hear each other or the waitstaff. I think this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant, not a bar. It really will be an amazing restaurant once the volume is toned down. Thank you!
