Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Amazing service and lovely staff.
We had the a paella and it was delicious, packed with seafood and bursting with taste. We will definitely have that one again! The staff was very friendly too.
Perfect evening. Excellent food, great wine, and attentive service. Lovely restaurant, highly recommend, cant wait to go back once lockdown is over. Thanks you all for a lovely evening
Excellent Sunday lunch - great service and lovely food
service with a smile and attention to detail. Food very tasty
Had a lovely evening. Thank you.
Good food and service in a nice atmosphere.
Good range of food to choose from, delicious and served speedily
Very welcoming host . Delicious food & wine . Had a lovely evening
Amazing night, great food, large portions, fantastic service. Will definitely be going back.
Was okay, service bit slow the food was nice and tasty
Food was delicious but the portions were massive! Could do with making the starters a little smaller. The service was excellent and we had a lovely evening. Really good Covid precautions, including a QR code for the menu so they are not wasting paper.
We went for our 15th wedding anniversary the starter was very salty (garlic bread) and my main 4 small meatballs and spaghetti was expensive and bland. My husband had peri peri chicken which was not very hot (spicy) so all in all disappointing
Always a pleasure to visit, with friendly service and delicious food today was no exception. We will be back soon.
Great food and lovely staff, very quiet on a Wednesday. Recommend the sea bass.
Food was over cooked and over salted - almost inedible.
Waitress offered us free drinks which was very kind (cocktails) but they were so disgusting we had to leave them - not usually the type to turn down free drinks!!
Very disappointing will NOT be returning.
Nice restaurant - food good - my sons pizza was excellent. Would recommend for lunch.
Very good service in a friendly and professional manner. Food was good and well presented.
The food was amazing! Very tasty and hot. However, when asked for a spoon, salt and pepper these took forever to arrive after several requests! Also a second drink was ordered and never received.
The staff where very helpful at decorating the table before our arrival and very apologetic about our wait. Overall, our experience was great.
Interesting menu, fab service and absolutely delicious food. Go there !!!
Great food and atmosphere.
Friendly service
Very good clean and lovely staff.food Very good. 👌
Excellent food and good variety of options on menu. Service was very good. The only disappointment was that they have no dessert menu only an ice cream cart with a choice of flavours to choose a scoop or 2 from.
Would definitely recommend pre booking a table though as restaurant was full on the night of our booking.
Highly recommend dining here!
Lovely food, service was good, the only fault was having people sitting at the next table talking loudly, the restaurant was empty so could of been moved further away, but would definitely go back again
Nice food and cosy atmophere
We went for Jazz night when it was raining and were able to sit under a large umbrella- it was like being on holiday, such fun! Service a bit slow but we didn't mind as to be expected in these difficult times
Visited for the jazz dinner at the pantiles. Great food (had chicken lovely and moist) good service and plenty of good wine!
A lovely evening with considerate staff and an amazing ambience. Will be booking again soon.
Would highly recommend eating here. Food was excellent. Service was good but a little slow and, although we were too full for dessert or coffee, we were never offered either. Good value, and even better, as we saved £10 per head because the restaurant have continued the ‘eat out to help’ on a Wednesday! Will definitely eat here again.
Food good service friendly and efficient what more can one ask?
Food was lovely, service was great a lovey place to spend Sunday lunch
Very nice food , lovely staff , couldn’t wish for more
Overall, good. It was Jazz night in the Pantiles so busy but it was a wet summer's evening so not overly busy. Food was OK. One of the Moules had to be sent back because they were "slimy" (not good for seafood of course), no replacement came back, no apology and it didn't get taken off the bill until we asked it to be (but then it was without question). We were a family group and the general view was that the quality of the food depended on what you ordered. Seafood stew was good but more of a broth than a stew. Whilst we were one of the first tables to arrive we had to "negotiate" to get a table, outside, that suited. Jazz night a good concept and having previously eaten at the other two restaurants involved in that event and had bad experiences, I would definitely go for La Casa Vechia over the other two.
Was really looking forward to the Paella but was told when ordering that they weren't serving Paella that evening. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. The food was good, but nothing special. We were sat outside as it was a nice evening, but as a result the service to our table wasn't good at all and we had to wait a lot to order anything, despite having plenty of staff working. It was a decent evening but won't be hurrying back.
Had to wait at least 30 minutes to get menus, apologies but still had to wait a long time for food which was good but didn’t dare ask for puddings or coffees as just didn’t have the time.
Superb alfresco
meal everything was excellent although they were very busy due to eat out.would recommend outside felt like we were abroad.cannot comment on the restaurant inside.
From the time we were seated it took about 40 minutes, including asking twice, for them to come and take our drinks order. The waiter was nice and gave us 2 free shots to make up for the wait but the experience was not as good as it could have been as we had parked in the Sainsbury’s car park (3 hour max) and were worried about getting a fine.
Good quality food and fairly priced - lovely staff and brilliantly located on the Pantiles. Returning before long for sure 👍
Delicious food and great service. Spent a lovely Jazz Night evening with friends.
A friendly restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere.
