La Casa de Isaac and Moishe’s Restaurant is the second Mexican restaurant established in Highland Park by the Nava family from Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico. As family owned and operated establishments, the Nava family has brought some unique Mexican dishes to Chicago’s North Shore. Isaac’s Mother’s Favorite Enchiladas – a recipe developed by their mother, Florencia – continues to be a customer favorite. New specialty items are added continually with an emphasis on local favorites from their home region. The Nava family maintains a strong commitment and loyalty to the community by offering unique Mexican dishes with excellent service. They appreciate the support and patronage of their customers.

We enjoyed, just... expected more from homemade tortillas ... didn’t prove to be an added feature taste wise. Chips, salsa and guacamole all good . Pricier because of the area, but expected that. Really got a good vibe that it was authentic and overall good dinner experience.

It was my girlfriend's birthday and I'd heard GREAT stuff about this place. We arrived at 8 PM when I booked the res on Open Table for and they were very rude and said they didn't see a reservation and would not honor it. Then a woman who I think was the owner literally SHUT THE DOOR IN OUR FACE. So I can't speak to the food, we went somewhere else for my girlfriend's birthday. But I'll tell you this: I'll never go back and I will tell all my friends about how horrible they are to people. I get the impression that they're very popular so they think that gives them the right to treat customers like human garbage. That's NOT cool. Avoid at all costs. Do you really want to give money to such disrespectful jerks who couldn't care less about a reservation (for my girlfriend's BIRTHDAY I might add)!

The food was good and the guacamole was fresh and enough for four. The top shelf margarita was very good. Our entrees were very good. No room for dessert.
