Locally designed with the help of some of Toronto’s best street style artists, La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros, run through a mixtape, and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer. Our aim is to serve up a dynamic menu, and connect with the community through our love of art & music.

Located in the financial district is La Carnita’s South Central location in a beautiful two-story heritage building. The upstairs makes for an engaging venue, seating 55 guests with its own bar.

Great food all around. We had vegans and omnivores in our group and everyone had nothing but great things to say about their choices! The drinks were great as well. The Carnita Margarita was so good, tasted so fresh! Will definitely visit again when in Toronto!

The sweet potatoes tacos were actually my favourite option on the menu. Service was okay, we asked for no cilantro on three of the tacos but still got cilantro. Margaritas were good.

The trendy John Street location has an outdoor space with picnic tables. Great for people watching on what was for us a beautiful temperature September evening. Felt at times like it was difficult to get wait staff's attention. Possibly they were short-staffed that evening. Food was good flavors were okay.

My husband and I love the cocktails, tacos, and chips and dip here. They are very flavourful. Food and drinks came fast, we always had water at the table and our server was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable with the menu, as some of our party had never been before. Location is great too as it’s right across the theatre.

My madri beer was flat and skunky tasting. Food was good. Service was super slow due to waiter forgetting to type in our order. Only after following up 30 min later did we find out. They were nice though to offer some discounts and a replacement beer once the tap was fixed.
