Service was terrible to put it mildly. We saw our server when he first checked in with us, took our order and when he brought us the bill. Otherwise, we were asking the manager to track down things for us and to get our server so we could order. Food was good overall but the poor service dampened things for us. The manager was very nice and provided churros at no charge for the wait. Salsas were tasty along with the tacos (brisket was really good) and the fajitas.

It was very disappointing. I took my friend to eat there since it had a good rating and it was featured on IG as one of the places to eat in Charlotte and for starters, our server was not interested in serving. It felt like he was running a marathon. He didn’t greet or interact with us or asked us if we had questions. It was more like “What do you want?” and then he took off. He came back rushing again and took off. As for the food, it was subpar. I don’t believe that the chicken was made from scratch as we ordered a chicken and steak burrito and it came out in less than 5 minutes and it didn’t taste right. The place is cute but unfortunately the food and service left a lot to be desired.

I visited LA Capital MX for their Taco Tuesday menu and enjoyed my experience. I selected their four street tacos for $10.00, which came with chips with red and green salsa and queso. They also have great Taco Tuesday cocktail and Mexican cerveza specials. The staff were personable and attentive. In addition, the restaurant is a short walk from the Lynx East West Station, and it also has free parking.

The environment was very inviting, clean and contemporary. Our server, named Caela, was absolutely outstanding. She explained what each dish was and helped us decide what to order. Now, the Food: Excellent, we loved everything we ordered. We will be back, many times. We will bring friends to introduce them to our new find. Glenn

Hands down the best Mexican food in the region....hell.....both states for that matter. Start to finish....handcrafted drinks....great apps.....Carne Asada is the best since my years in Texas and traveling in Mexico. Carnitas? To die for. Well done. We will be back.
