   My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at La Cannelle this past weekend. We found the service to be excellent and our dinners were superb from the appetizers, salads, main courses, and finally, desserts. We had a memorable evening and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The menu is varied, but not overly extensive. Each aspect of our meal was prepared freshly and brought to our table promptly with each course at its peak.

   The food was so spectacular that the dining experience merits the highest marks. For our party of three, three starters and three entrees were each exceptionally prepared and presented in their own individual way. There is nothing that compares in Media, not even the niche BYOBs. Only negative is that they may be understaffed at times. We had multiple issues with the final check. Service was otherwise fine.

   The food was excellent. I was disappointed at first because the kofka kebab entrée was not on the menu; however, an excellent tuna entrée was available and I had the kofka appetizer.

    This neighborhood BYOB has an interesting menu, French cafe jazz music on the sound system, and local artist paintings on the walls. The staff are pleasant and there is some outdoor seating. This Delco spot is a favorite of mine.

    What a great find! La Cannelle Cafe is just a gem of a restaurant! It's BYOB (and NO corkage fee!) so bring your favorite bottle of wine (or two!). Hubby and I shared the charred kale and cherry tomato salad appetizer which was delicious. The kale was well prepared and the dressing was light and flavorful. Hubby had the grilled quail with cornbread pudding, pine nuts and grilled kiwi (wow! yum!). I ordered the duck l'orange with caramelized orange slices, fennel, shallots, and pistachio. The duck was boneless and very tender (only comment would be that it was a tad overcooked. Would have been perfect if it were a bit pink). The orange slices were amazing and really added to the dish. Will definitely go back! Love the menu choices and the food seems consistently great.

    A neighborhood delight! A changing menu, filled with adventurous choices, means we’ll be back often. I had a baked goat cheese starter and goat ragu. Both were wonderful. And, it’s BYOB.

    Lunch was excellent! The soups, mushroom omelet and duck were all delicious. The waiter, Matthew, was attentive and friendly. This is not a cookie-cutter brunch restaurant; but rather, they serve thoughtfully prepared food. We will go back!

    Small family run café. Overall wonderful experience. The bread was delicious. Great warm brie appetizer with toast and honey. We had the chicken, quail and short rib dinners. They were all excellent with great presentation. Would highly recommend.

    High quality ingredients, well prepared dishes from a variety of countries around the Mediterranean. Very nice family that runs it. We've enjoyed eating there twice since last fall, outside. When our family of 6 ate there on 2/26, arriving at 6 pm, it seemed like everyone had decided they could go to a restaurant again and the place was full and crowded. We waited an hour for the shared appetizers and young children's plates and then another 50 minutes for the adults' dinners, way too long! Hopefully, they will add kitchen staff now that the pandemic is easing up.

    Dinner was so delicious. We had salmon and a braised short rib, and both were excellent. We also had dessert, which did not disappoint. They had great dessert options so we couldn’t pass that up. Waitstaff was very accommodating - we had two picky kids with us and they changed up one of the menu items for one of the kids. Relaxing atmosphere and quiet enough for good conversation. Great local restaurant - we’ll be back!

    This is a neighborhood gem! It was Valentines Day so there was a set menu. All of the food selections were excellent. The salad and crab appetizers were tasty. The restaurant is BYOB. The service was very good.

    We had an excellent meal at this small, unassuming BYOB. We shared the arugula and charred kale salads, hummus and Brussels sprouts a la plancha. All were excellent but the stand out for me was the kale salad. The entrees were just as delicious. We had the gnocchi, lamb shank and there was a ribeye special. Although we were full we still educated one bread pudding for dessert which was also excellent.

    I have been for lunch and brunch, as well as my go to for take-out. They have well-prepared meals. I especially like their salads and anything with Brie cheese. It is a small space, but they arrange your table so that you are comfortable.

    This is a neighborhood gem. While it looks pedestrian on the outside, it has a lovely ambiance on the inside comparable to any fine dining establishment. The food is well crafted and creative, not to mention delicious. We're thrilled that it has survived the pandemic and we enjoy supporting the restaurant.

    Wonderful little restaurant with simple but cheerful decor. Server was friendly and helpful although our food took a little longer to arrive- a very small issue since we weren’t in a hurry. Tables were appropriately spaced. We were there for lunch on a weekday, but I can imagine it being very popular for dinner and weekend meals. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

    Mid-week, holiday lunch was excellent. Great service. But, room was much too noisy for our conversation. Perhaps wall hangings or ceiling tiles would help. Will return after the holidays.
