Best restaurant at Bayside Market. Nice entertainment, cocktails and food were well done. Bands are pretty loud, but fun atmosphere. Whole fried snapper was delicious!

We enjoyed the covered outdoor seating. Hostess sat us immediately and gave us choice of 2 tables. It was busy with Heat game starting 1 hour after our reservation time. The wait staff worked together to get us in and out fast. FYI: 20% gratuity added to all checks which is a good idea.

Very good place. I went with my family to the New Year's Eve party and we had a great time. The food was delicious in general the event was very well organized. The band made everyone dance, it was amazing. Overall it was a very nice experience. I definitely recommend this place!

We had a great time! The food was good, the service was great. We loved the live music, though the volume was too loud for table conversation. They didn't seem to have any kids menu items, but the kids loved sharing some empanadas. The Coquito was a happy treat! So tasty!

Very loud music can’t hear to have conversation with family. Light is so low you have to use a phone light to read menu. Was out of chicken dish. 20% tip automatically included which is not on the menu anywhere. Food was brought out all at different times so family had to wait to eat together.

Drinks were great food just ok. Shrimp Cerviche app very small portion didn’t taste good They ran out of main entree chicken and rice. Got oxtail very fatty not good. Food way over river and tourist tray. Waiter was very nice and accommodating. Good lunch spot not dinner.

Nice band playing. Our seats had a very nice view of the water. Food was dry and tasteless. Service was good but too fast if you’d like to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks before eating. Food was basically delivered as soon as it was ordered.

We went to celebrate a birthday and pre concert dinner. Staff was accommodating, friendly and eager to make us comfortable . Conch fritters were delicious . Great live band And our server Rodrigo was exceptional. We will be back .

Band was too loud!! The live music was good, but it was incredibly loud. We were yelling at each other on the table and still could not hear each other. Annoying! I felt bad for the employees. Hopefully the live music is not every day. The food was good, but the loud music will not let you enjoy it.

We live in Miami and were going to the Arsht Center for a matinee and wanted to try Michelle Bernstein's newest restaurant, La Canita, in Bayside. Bayside is not looking great, in much needed updating although La Canita is quaint and well decorated. We wanted to dine outside and waited for a table. Our waiters were pleasant but unfortunately not attentive. Our food was just okay, the fish sandwiches were suppose to be local, fresh fish and it was not very good. Dry and overloaded with messy dressing....we were all disappointed in our choices.

It’s a convenient location since it’s at Bayside and the view was nice but the food was lacking. You could my the ox tail had been reheated as the middle of the meat was cold and the outside hot. It was also over seasoned. Simply not good. Tried the same dish at other restaurants in Miami as well and i give this one the worst review.

It was my birthday and I wanted a whole fried red snapper. La Cañita had exactly what I was craving for. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the picadillo and he said it was really good. I ordered a side of tostones to go with my meal. We also had the Coconut Mojito drink and it was amazing; anything coconut in my book is good. It was my first time having a Mojito drink and I am so glad it was here (it’s a must try). Our server was very attentive and checked on us constantly. My only disappointment was that they did not comp the tres leches cake for my B-day like other restaurants do. If we’re back in this area I would definitely revisit La Cañita.

Let me begin by saying that La Cañita has high reviews due to Yisel and Henrry our wonderful servers. They have excellent customer service skills. Yisel and Henrry would be at our table before we knew we needed anything. They save the mistake I made in choosing La Cañita. They were both given an extra cash tip. Now let’s talk about the choice – on the La Cañita website has an overview description containing the following: “celebrates the food and flavor of tropical, sun-drenched destinations like Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, and Puerto Rico, along with influences from Central and South America.” So, I thought and wanted a little bit of Puerto Rico for the person we were hosting. NO – more like hamburgers and Cuban food. Please do not ask me about the Mojito – OMG what is this? Lemonade and mint leaves. The tourist won’t know, but I do! 6 people – chicken sandwich w/fries, 2 different hamburgers w/fries, an oxtail plate w/rice & beans, churrasco plate w/fries, and mine was a fish steamed with lemon slices w/rice & beans. We had a few drinks among us – for a total of 310. My friend was not happy with the Oxtail (too greasy). We were there with a large group La Cañita is accommodating, and they have killer views of the bay and Port of Miami. I still believe the Yisel and Henrry (with two R’s) saved the night – they are keepers. Thank you to both for a job well done. Thanks for reading!

The food was very good. Server was attentive until towards the end of our meal. Our last round of drinks took forever to come. The food was delicious. They need to update their menu and prices that are listed online. I would definitely go back.

Disappointing in every sense. I’ve followed Michelle’s career and eaten dozens of times at her other venues. This was a simple Cuban workers eatery/truck stop, just the food was not as good. The live music in the daytime is amplified to a horrific level. The service is awful, all plates came out at retention times and our water 10 minutes after the food. The Verdot is that the food was Greasy, bland, boring and tasteless, the service (they take 20%) non existent. I never write bad reviews but felt that this time, I must warn others. Come on Michelle, find your way back to making great food and service.

Food was good. Key lime pie wasn’t cold, so seem like it needed more time on the fridge, although the crust was delicious. More of a place to go enjoy and have drinks with friends.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday and the energy was electric. Huge crowd. Live music - 2 man band playing conga, singing, keyboard. 2nd floor of Bayside with outdoor and indoor seating. Loud so not easy to talk / not a quiet date place but the energy at Bayside on Biscayne Bay was so fun. Food was good but a little expensive for what you got - but you pay for the gorgeous interior decorating / live music/ location in Bayside shopping area with 50 plus stores as well as outdoor stalls selling everything. This is where you can also catch numerous charters. THIS is the soul of Miami for everyday fun and people watching and shopping at moderate priced stores/ outdoor stalls.

The food was good but the menu itself was pretty short and on top of that there was more than 4 items the did not have ! So you have no food options to choose from !! The food was ok but not a place we will go back. Also 20% tip included it looks a little high to me.

I should have known better going to a restaurant at Bayside, my wife even warned me but some of the positive reviews convinced me to give it a try. This has to be one of the absolute worst restaurants with a decent rating on OpenTable. Would be bad at any price but especially considering how expensive our dinner turned out to be. Service was as bad as the food. Nobody in our party of 5 finished what they ordered despite everyone being really hungry when we got there. Basically a tourist trap chain-like restaurant at best. Can't say enough bad things about this terrible Michele Bernstein embarrassment.
