    We have a tradition of going each December to La Caille as a family for brunch. The setting is beautiful, food is delicious, and we always have a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this place.

    La Caille offers a very overpriced experience of mediocre food and disappointing ambiance. I remember it being a lovely place to dine many years ago but unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worse. I cannot recommend this restaurant especially given the price point 😔

    My escargot were lukewarm, small and mushy. My bouillabaisse was lukewarm and I was not sure about two of the mussels so didn’t eat them. Flavor was good. For the price, I felt it had way too little fish. Server was great but the amount of time between appetizers and entree was too long. All in all, I paid a lot of money for mediocre meals. First and last time to go there.

    The venue is absolutely remarkable, one of the most scenic restaurants I’ve ever been. The food was just okay, not bad but nothing too great. For the high price point, the food was rather disappointing. The service was also okay, nothing superb. Again, fine, but for the price point and expectation, just ok. I would go back for the views and a cocktail, but skip the $500 dinner.

    This was my fourth Thanksgiving dinner at La Caille. The food was not as precise as the other times... much spicier, too much spice. I'm sure we'll be back, but probably go someplace else next Thanksgiving.

    As usual, La Caille is way overpriced for the food you get. Don’t care for being served family style at this caliber of restaurant. Beef and salmon were overcooked; I didn’t try the ham but it looked very dried out as well.

    LaCaille has been my dream restaurant since I was young. I had my reception there, have stayed in their cottage and I take my granddaughters there to celebrate their 16th birthday. The quaint ambiance brings awe to the first time visitor and stirs fond memories upon returning. For my 16 yo granddaughters it was a night they’ll always remember. That trumps any price. It deserves 5 stars

    Huge disappointment and way overpriced. I would never go back or recommend. It cost 35+ for scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon, which were worse than the same served at a diner. There was absolutely no presentation to make up for the quality of food. The bacon was so overcooked that when it was cut, it flew off the plate. The ham was so salty. Potatoes were so overcooked (they were indeed crispsy, as advertised, but all the way through, not just on the outside). The iron skillet breakfast was sweet and not as described and not ver substantial. It said it came with a toasted baguette - it was a long piece of toast. The side order of berries was anemic at best - there were about 8 berries. The cappucino was burnt and bitter. The house glass of wine was $35! It's way past its prime.

    This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was something I haven’t experienced before, and the outdoor area was absolutely stunning. The food was amazing, it was prepped super quickly, and was brought out by an amazing set of staff. This was a fantastic experience all around!

    We had a very enjoyable evening, the service was prompt but not at all hurried. The food was excellent, masterfully prepared and delicious. The presentation was simple and attractive, well thought out to highlight each dish, from our appetizer and salad to our entrees. We are looking at planning our next special occasion visit.

    Beautiful atmosphere and experience in terms of the whole look and feel of the property. Service was very good. Quality of food for the $ spent was below par. Maple glazed bacon was tough but the presentation of the bacon was impressive. Brussels sprouts were a big favorite. Escargots were very small. Overall a wonderful experience but wait for a very special celebration if you would like to spend $.

    My absolute favorite place to visit when I come to town. The service, Michael, was excellent. Besides Michael , the water boys, the boys that clear our dishes, are all very respectful and attentive. Croissants to die for, potatoes excellent.

    Does not disappoint. I will absolutely be back. They do a sample appetizer. That is just enough to get a taste. Story is they are going to start doing a sample menu . Hope they do. Food and drinks this good makes you want to try everything. A great hi end dining experience.

    Beautiful setting for special occasions. Limited but delicious menu. I keep hoping for a couple more choices but I'm never disappointed. The Filet continues to be my first choice and favorite. Don't miss the bacon appetizer or the escargot or the bouillabaisse either...

    Crispy brunch hash browns deep fried and too greasy for this writers personal taste. Breakfast burger nothing special, at 34.00 one is paying for ambience I suppose. Sparkling water not in house made. Just San pellies so stick with side of water. 2 bottles of SP not worth 18

    I absolutely love La Caille! I went with my brother for his birthday, and it was absolutely amazing! We got the candied bacon appetizer which was so delicious and served with some lightly pickled onions and carrots, along with a visual element. The soup du jour was French Onion soup, and it was so complex, sweet, savory, and felt like I was being wrapped up in a soft sweater and blanket. The Filet Mignon was so tender and soft, and the sides that came with it were perfect accompaniments. I had the Veal Osso Bucco, and the many complex flavors in each part of the dish meant that each bite was slightly different and so pleasant! And the veal was so tender and flavorful. And their seasonal desserts were delicious, not too sweet and so complex and delicate! I would definitely recommend saving up to eat here at least once in your life! They also have some fun mocktails for those who don't drink alcohol. Thank you La Caille!

    We loved our dinner! It's quite pricey, but you can't get this kind of food at any other place so it was worth it. The service is top notch and the setting is magical. Wish we had arrived an hour early just to have time to enjoy the beautiful grounds. We ate here 37 years ago when we got engaged, so coming back for an anniversary dinner made it a special night!

    While the soup was very good, service in bringing the soup to the table was flawed. My date received my soup by mistake, and mine was not served at the same time. The waiter corrected the problem after we complained. The sea bass was overcooked, the sauce had very little flavor, and the lentils and leaks did not add anything to the dish. Overall, the meal was quite a disappointment. No one asked how our meal was until we were walking out the door.

    They sat me and my wife in a small table for 2 people even though every other couple were seated at tables for 4 people and there were more tables available. I didn’t ask to be moved however it was weird to be the only couple seated at a smaller table than everyone else.

    Ambiance and setting are spectacular. Our server and all others were very attentive and friendly. Our orders were taken almost immediately upon seating and food was delivered promptly. The only exception was the hostess who seemed cold and distant though polite. The food was good, but didn't meet our expectations, especially for the price. The escargot was mushy and the cheesecake was bland. What kind of French restaurant doesn't serve crepes at dinner even for dessert? I've wanted to go to La Caille for years. Now that I've been there I have no desire to go again.

    Just an overall wonderful dining experience. Come a few minutes early and walk around the garden area. I asked for a virgin mojito- the server came back to me and said it would just be a few minutes longer because they went out to pick fresh mint, wow!

    We haven't been to La Caille for quite a few years and so were happy to go with some new friends. I was quite shocked at the increase in prices for everything. The food was good and the service was also good, but I don't think that the value was there. My husband's escargot came with plenty of snail shell, but some had nothing in them!
