Super cute. Awesome wine selection. Great service. Excellent food. ALL FRENCH.
Poor service even if our waiter tried to do his best, short menu not updated (“we do this plate only in wintertime”, “we don’t have this wine anymore, we changed it“ but he didn’t know the price, that was kindly $12.00 higher !!) and with many items not available.
Food : cheese plate small and with “supermarket choice” cheese, mussels over cooked and in a swimming pool of uncooked white wine, profiteroles ok.
Atmosphere ok, nice live jazz, and nice playlist after.
I don’t know if i’ll give a second chance...
The ambiance was very friendly, and the food was superb and in a good affordable range including drinks. The wait staff was highly professional and informative,
Food was excellent and service even better.
Girls night out was a success!!!! Wine served was chilled and delish! Restaurant has real Paris feeling to it, service was superb and dished home made, and really authentic.
Hosted my friends bridal lingerie shower brunch here and it was the perfect venue! Great staff, amazing food and the ambiance was fantastic. Every person in our group had great things to say. Definitely recommend!
The food was delicious, as were the drinks—would love to come back here.
The food was very good, and the service was excellent, as was the setting. Lovely bistro...
Had my girlfriend’s birthday here, they were so accommodating, friendly and the food and atmosphere was perfect.
Authentic and great food
Cute little cafe . Service was exceptional. Food was delicious. A bit pricey but would definitely go back. We had the steak for 2. Prepared perfectly. It's an open air restaurant which is very nice except we went on a hot night. No A/C. Great ambiance. Owner stopped to ask how we were. Nice of him to do that. Shows he cares about his customers. Try it. You wont be disappointed!
Excellent food; great service, nice atmosphere. I love Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band, so hearing them on the P.A. was quite an eye-opener. Most of all, my friend who accompanied me LOVED it so seeing her happy made me happier.
A treasure in Williamsburg. Small menu but every dish we tried, both at dinner and at brunch, was creatively prepared and delicious.
The staff are lovely, very attentive but respectful of space.
We will be back!
If you are looking for a good French place to eat, you find it!
LOVED this restaurant! Food was amazing- just like Paris! Service was great.
More than 50% of the items on the menu were not available because the grill apparently wasn’t working. They wouldn’t even serve the steak tartare because the grill wouldn’t work with the bread that goes with it, even though we mentioned we didn’t need the bread grilled. Also, the garlic butter mussels got 2 ppl of our dinner party incredibly sick after dinner. Definitely avoid this restaurant.
Excellent food. Disappointed that they removed the escargot. But good food and nice servers!
The chicken does not disappoint, the Caesar salad was lovely and the service and atmosphere are absolutely charming. Even though it was our first time there, Kevin made us feel like regulars!
Food was good but quantity way too small...
lovely brunch spot in williamsburg. Not too crowded and service was impeccable
Lovely intimate bistro on one of the last quiet corners in Williamsburg - you could squint and believe you were somewhere in a calm Paris arondissement. 5 stars all around, except 4 for service: not for lack of trying, but for trying too hard...probably because the place is fairly new... We appreciated the promptness and the eager check-ins, but in a soothing place like this sometimes less is more...not a blemish at all, just a suggestion: we think the staff will grow into it... We're so happy to have discovered this little local gem, we'll be back soon and we wholeheartedly recommend it...
Foie gras was well presented, Jaret d'agneau was amazing, $6 glasses of wine on happy hour were great. Absolutely will be back and highly recommend!
Very small space, much better suited for casual/small parties. Food was good, however by 2:30 brunch on a Sunday they were out of basically everything I had hoped to eat, so that was disappointing. Server was not the warmest- we felt as though we were inconveniencing her at every turn. She did, however seem to have all tables, so I did tip full 20% as I have been in service and understand that stress. Cocktails are small and relatively expensive, but overall ok experience.
This place has been a neighborhood "go-to" mine and never disappoints. Authentic French fare and great service from the bartender and owners. Big fan of the lamb shank, pork chop and burger.
Our table wasn’t ready right away and staff was very accommodating to make up for it! Food was great and vibe is intimate and casual. Definitely a neighborhood gem and will go back!
Great restaurant, lovely owners and very authentic French <3. Highly recommend the mixed platter, foie gras and the fondant au chocolat.
Like being in a trendy cafe in Paris, food is very good, casual and fun vibe. Great cocktails & french wine list. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
I’ve been there few time already, always extremely satisfied by everything. The food is as good as some of the best bistro in France, using high quality and very fresh products. The waiting team is lovely and very pro.
A mandatory stop if you visit or live in Brooklyn!
The owners were so lovely and welcoming, unpretentious and friendly. The ambiance was V French- made me think we were in Paris. Food was really tasty! We had burgers, French onion soup and flank steak. Yum!
Came in for the first time on Sunday evening and had a great meal at the bar. Service was a highlight, food was on point and the ambiance is everything I think a neighborhood bar/restaurant should be. Thanks for a great time.
Excelllent experience that took us back to France. The rotisserie chicken is a MUST try! Merci bien!
A charming cafe with nice people serving delicious food. The brunch is outstanding and truly French. The place is generally packed and for good reason. A hidden gem in Williamsburg.
Great French classics, went with a colleague who has not really had french food before and she loved it. I will for sure go back.
Outstanding food and service!!
Excellent service excellent food excellent vibe
After looking at their Instagram, I was dying to go. 10x better than the pictures. Everything.
We really enjoyed La Cafette. We shared the meat and cheese board and it was unusually delicious, particularly well chosen cheeses. Then I had the steak with blue cheese sauce special and DH had the lamb shank. Both really good but the steak won. They had a very friendly wine list and we found a nice red at a good price. I had profiteroles for desert, DH had cheesecake. Win win, always a good conclusion!
Great cozy spot. Highly recommend the chicken & burger.
