La Bussola has been serving Kelowna since 1974 and is proud to boast the largest wine selection in the Okanagan today. La Bussola is owned and operated by the Coccaro family; Lauretta Coccaro the chef & owner operates the restaurant with her son Luigi Coccaro. The restaurant's menu changes seasonally using local and/or handmade ingredients wherever possible, and includes rotating classic dishes from the original menu from when La Bussola opened 43 years ago.

    We always have an excellent meal at La Bussola but this meal had Lauretta at the top of her game. Attentive service and nice atmosphere.

    Service to the table was slower than I would expect. Drink delivery. Good delivery etc.

    So I go all the way from Europe to Canada to get some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. All home made with care and attention. Subtle flavours, decent portions but not overbearing and exquisite attention to detail in the plating up. It was almost a shame to stick a fork in it. Glad I did though.... A great knowledge of wine pairing without being over pretentious and the table service was spot on. Huge compliments to the chef though, she is outstanding and deserves applause.

    What a gem of a restaurant! Four of us enjoyed this decades long, family owned, charming, dining experience. The bison ragu, the salmon, the prawn pasta.....all were sublime. Cannot recommend La Bussola more

    A iconic Kelowna restaurant that never fails to deliver quality food, great service and one of the best wine lists in the city. Amazing experience.

    We had date night and it was perfect!! The food and drink selection is great. We loved everything we tried and the service was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    La Bussola is our favourite restaurant. The food is nothing short of fabulous every single time. Chef Loretta is so skilled at bringing the taste of Italy to my plate. It is a fine dining experience and the perfect spot for any special occasion. Michael the somalier is there to see that your wine pairing is right for you. All the staff are amazing, friendly and watching to see what you need. It is my go to happy place.
