The food was incredible, the service was great, I would definitely recommend
Wonderful and authentic Italian food. Pasta served al dente. Sauces had depth. The owner and waiter were friendly and hospitable. The ambience was upscale. Tables were socially distanced and they created a nice looking outdoor section. Will definitely return.
ALWAYS a great dining experience. Fabulous food presented beautifully by a truly attentive wait staff.
Authentic Italian by authentic Italians, there’s nothing better
Such a cozy and delicious dining experience. Thank You!
Reliably wonderful food served by an experienced crew of waiters. The owner/host maintains a wonderful joie de vivre and the restaurant is always a delight to visit. The outdoor section is warm even in these colder months. La Bruschetta is truly an institution in West LA.
Everything was great!
Incredible experience. Loved being here the staff was very welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious have to put this on your list of places to go. We are constantly dining out and this was by far one of our best experience in a long time. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant you all are amazing.
This is the best Pasta and Cesar Salad I have ever had outside home kitchen. We are glad we have found this place and will go back. Owner of 40 years is on premises and makes sure the food (and you) is to your liking. His nephew works there too and know the menus well. If you are in LA and looking for real Pasta, this is your Only place. I have been to high end restaurants in LA, I am very picky when it comes to Pasta, I have worked in kitchen and I can tell when the sauce is made in house or it comes from Can. Tiramisu was made with in house. Very light and fresh. If you want Cannoli, give a week advance notice. That’s what I will do next time. All in all, from Australia to Asia, Europe (except Italy) and best places in Canada and US, I would say this was was the best.
My guest and I ordered the pounded chicken over spinach. The chicken was very dry, had no taste and was extremely thin. It was the first time I was hungry after eating out. I have had pounded chicken breasts before but never so thin and dried out.
I ordered the linguini with shrimp.
The linguini was cooked far too long. The shrimp were hard because they also had been cooked too long.
Walked in with our own bottle of wine. Right out of the gate Angelo treated us as if I were committing
the biggest crime. He immediately told us that corkage is $40 and that we were out of line to have brought the wine to begin with. It created a very negative atmosphere. If we had not been with friends we would have left immediately. This is a restaurant in our neighborhood and we have eaten there many times. We will not be going back.
Always a great dining experience!❤
Jonathan our waiter (grandson of the owner) was very friendly and informative. The food was very good. Very nice family owned Italian restaurant. We will be back!
Delicious white fish and pasta with shrimp. Loved the salad with roasted pear and burrata. Terrific restaurant.
Outstanding service and delicious food. Great neighborhood gem!
Always a wonderful dining experience
Meeting long time friend
If you feel like eating in the neighborhood Italian restaurant this is your place! Good food, amazing staff great wine and out of this world dessert! Just a very cozy and inviting outdoor sitting which reminded me of narrow alleys of Italy ! Highly recommend it
Outstanding food, ambiance, and service! I am visiting from Minnesota but if/when I return to LA, I will absolutely visit La Bruschetta again! Incredible experience!
The food quality and flavor was amazing! The service was excellent. I highly recommend La Bruschetta.
Our favorite go to place treated like family and food is high quality.
The food was great. Nice, low key, real Italian restaurant - attentive staff. Piping hot food, prepared with care. Definitely coming back!
Our favorite go to place. Treated like family and the food is upscale authentic Italian
Attentive staff and every dish is well executed
La Bruschetta offered incredible service, delicious food and a wonderful choice of wines. We enjoyed everything we ordered and even ordered extra to take home! Highly recommend!
Such an amazing neighborhood gem!
Loved it all! Loved the environment and the food, felt so catered to.
Would have given this a 4/5, but when the bill arrived, they charged $40 for a corking fee. The bottles ran $40, so therefore I paid $40 corking fee + the bottle. I questioned the amount of the corking fee and they said it was on the menu. I looked online and it was not on the menu. Most waiters would let you know to just get the bottle.
Unfortunately I give this a 2/5. Will not return on principle.
First time back since the pandemic and there have been some changes in the decor with the wine racks being moved and perhaps the floor was redone. There was adequate space between the tables.
Food and service was as I remember with a limited wine menu in place now.
I will definitely go back.
La Bruschetta is remarkably consistent. Angelo welcomes us into a comfortable dining room, mostly filled with "regulars" and we are served by familar wait staff. Food is always good, with generous portions, and sometimes some surprising specials. Good both for casual dinners and special occasions.
Caring, attentive and professional staff.
Had a lovely evening!
(Deserts are incredible)
Food was outstanding - authentic Italian cuisine with a wide variety of offerings. The wait staff were wonderful and the owner greeted us by name, checked in on us throughout our meal, and bid us farewell after taking group pictures for us.
Servers was very friendly and attentive.
Very good dinner. Service was amazing.
Ambience was really nice.
Would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
This is a neighborhood restaurant for us- we eat here often, we come back because it's a Feel-Good type of Family owned/run place- we had the Fish, the Bolognese and the Sea Food Pasta's - lets not forget we splurged- had deserts, both of the Ice Cream under a Chocolate Dome w/hot Carmel pour over and the Lemon Tortufo - Yep- big smiles for an enjoyable evening- there is Light at the end of the tunnel -
Great neighborhood spot. Fantastic food nice people. Molten Cake was crazy good. They had several fish specials and a braised beef and mashed potatoes special, which I had. Killer. Will return.
Food is consistently excellent, service is wonderful and thoughtful. A total gem.
