About La Bruschetta - Westwood
Note: For parties over 8 guests please call the restaurant at 310.477.1052. In business since 1984, La Bruschetta has won a loyal neighborhood following and has long been one of the more serious -- and relaxed -- places to dine close to Westwood Village. The simple yet handsome dining room works well for many occasions: it can be romantic, it suits the needs of business people and it is also an ideal restaurant to bring visiting relatives. The kitchen prepares a wide range of intriguing pasta dishes -- some hearty, some delicate, most of them noteworthy. Deftly prepared classic northern Italian entrées, most reasonably priced, range from veal scaloppine to osso buco.

La Bruschetta - Westwood Ratings and Reviews
This is an amazing restaurant. Excellent food and service and great ambiance. A place to go when you want to have an intimate dinner and conversation. Servers are attentive and knowledgeable but give you space and no pressure to hurry your meal. One of my favorite places on the west side. Highly recommend.
Fantastic neighborhood restaurant with wonderful service and excellent Italian food and specials. Everyone makes you feel welcome. Ideal dining. It's in our neighborhood but frankly I'd travel a distance to have dinner here. Perfect for a family dinner or an evening with friends.
I've lost track of how many times I've eaten here. It never disappoints with a well prepared traditional Italian menu. Plenty of pasta choices both familiar and novel. Chicken and fish entrees in classic preparation. Great wine list and Angelo will always help if you have questions. He knows his stuff and wants you to have a good time. Thirty-plus years so he's doing several things right.
La Bruschetta has quickly become one my favorites in Westwood. Absolutely amazing experience every time. They treat you like royalty in the most genuine manner, and the food is delicious. I have been waited by Rob each time I have come in, and he has quickly become a friend. I would put La Bruschetta high on my list for a guaranteed pleasant and memorable dining experience.
Dining at La Bruschetta is always a wonderful experience. Great food, excellent wine choices, very good service and pleasant ambience. We were there for a friend's birthday celebration and she felt very special indeed to celebrate her birthday at a wonderful venue like La Bruschetta. The only caveat was that Angelo was on a well-deserved holiday in Genoa and was not there to wish her a happy birthday himself!
A forgotten gem. We never think of going here, but decided to do so before the theater. We were all very pleasantly surprised. First, its quiet, you can actually have a conversation. Second, food was very good, maybe not gourmet, but definitely above the level of a whole lot of other restaurants. Third, service was great. Waiter kidded with us, had good sense of humor, guided us and was very helpful. I ordered my meal without salt and, although this should sound easy, most restaurants can't seem to put down the salt shaker. This one did, my dishes, to the extent possible, came without salt. My main dish included, as a side, the roasted potatoes and they didn't come with the meal. When I asked the waiter where they were, he said the chef thought they would be too salty for me, and didn't give them. They brought them when I requested them anyways and they were not very salty, so they were fine. Its unusual for someone to take the concept of "no salt on the chicken" and apply that to the side dishes, so I was impressed by this. To top it all off, the price was reasonable. All four of us were happy with our meal, enough so that we made another reservation for this Friday night.
Since we had to get to the theater, we were in and out fairly quickly, but never felt rushed and the meal was paced perfectly.
Beware, the population there, at least on a Saturday night at 6 p.m. was on the "mature" side, not too many younger people there, but maybe the second seating was more younger people.
I would definitely return there again (as evidenced by making another reservation there for this Friday).
This was an outstanding restaurant! the food was crazy good. The Pumpkin Ravioli in sage butter sauce was so rich and decadent! The Rib eye steak was so huge and tender! the Bruschetta was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned! the Guanciale carbonara pasta was mouth watering. go to this restaurant!!!
Lovely, sophisticated yet neighborhood-friendly; excellent kitchen; family-owned and operated hands-on for 33 years. Even a very nice Montelpuciano by the glass, reasonably-priced. A " home run" that deserves a positive place on every west-side restaurant list.
