Such an amazing neighborhood gem!
Loved it all! Loved the environment and the food, felt so catered to.
Would have given this a 4/5, but when the bill arrived, they charged $40 for a corking fee. The bottles ran $40, so therefore I paid $40 corking fee + the bottle. I questioned the amount of the corking fee and they said it was on the menu. I looked online and it was not on the menu. Most waiters would let you know to just get the bottle.
Unfortunately I give this a 2/5. Will not return on principle.
La Bruschetta is remarkably consistent. Angelo welcomes us into a comfortable dining room, mostly filled with "regulars" and we are served by familar wait staff. Food is always good, with generous portions, and sometimes some surprising specials. Good both for casual dinners and special occasions.
Caring, attentive and professional staff.
Had a lovely evening!
(Deserts are incredible)
Food was outstanding - authentic Italian cuisine with a wide variety of offerings. The wait staff were wonderful and the owner greeted us by name, checked in on us throughout our meal, and bid us farewell after taking group pictures for us.
Servers was very friendly and attentive.
Very good dinner. Service was amazing.
Ambience was really nice.
Would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
This is a neighborhood restaurant for us- we eat here often, we come back because it's a Feel-Good type of Family owned/run place- we had the Fish, the Bolognese and the Sea Food Pasta's - lets not forget we splurged- had deserts, both of the Ice Cream under a Chocolate Dome w/hot Carmel pour over and the Lemon Tortufo - Yep- big smiles for an enjoyable evening- there is Light at the end of the tunnel -
Great neighborhood spot. Fantastic food nice people. Molten Cake was crazy good. They had several fish specials and a braised beef and mashed potatoes special, which I had. Killer. Will return.
Food is consistently excellent, service is wonderful and thoughtful. A total gem.
The restaurant atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is top notch. Food is mouth watering, dessert is so delicious, portions are big, do share with others so you don’t waste a bite!
Will definitely come back again!
Our favorite go to place. Always welcomed like family and cuisine is authenic Italian.
Wonderful family run local restaurant with a charming host (Angelo) and excellent food. It has always been a favorite of mine.
Delicious food, extraordinary service and nice people, An outstanding restaurant.
Great neighborhood restaurant.
Food was great! Amazing service
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve eaten at in a long time. Owner was over the
top kind and his food backed him up!
The owner is so warm and welcoming. The food is delicious.
A true dining experience in alovely seeting with quality food, expert service and an atmosphere that makes you feel like family from start to finish.
Absolutely delicious food, and not overpriced like so many restaurants. Service has always been much better and more professional than most other more expensive restaurants.
Great ambience - good service - very good food. Angelo does great job.
Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner. I had the chicken and my husband had the Lasagna
We can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and staff. It’s our favorite Italian restaurant in LA!
Top quality food, wine and service. You are greeted and treated like family. A must on your dining experiences.
Nicely appointed clean place. The curry pasta with shrimp is excellent. The linguine lemon sauce with shrimp was okay.. pasta not al dente. The manager/owner was warm & welcoming. But the server we got was rude & condescending after he thought we ordered calamari which we didn't. He tried to overcharge us with dessert to seemingly compensate. We questioned and he tried to give a condescending confusing answer. So we talked to the nice manager who rectified the situation immediately. Sad that one staff can ruin the whole experience. Not sure if we will ever come back.
Such a great restaurant! Staff wonderful, food was amazing! Loved the ambiance! Great wine! Will definitely return!
The service was outstanding. The food very good and the wine pairing excellent.
Would go there again in a heartbeat.
Incredible dinner. Service was impeccable and the food was amazing.
We recently dined at La Bruschetta - first time after covid. We have been going to La Bruschetta for many years. It has been one of the last places in LA where you could enjoy a very nice meal with attentive service in a relaxed, quiet environment. Angelo is a tremendous host and his staff is the best. The food was as good as ever and the service was excellent.
Unfortunately, the noise level all night was painfully unbearable and made the evening a total disappointment. That was with a covid reduction in patrons to 50%. I would hate to be in there at 100% capacity. It seems that there is now no soft surface to absorb sound with what appeared to be a new wooden floor.
Sadly, we and the couple with whom we attended vowed never to return as long as nothing is done to absorb the noise. I hope for Angelo's sake he makes changes to the environment in order to allow for the conducting of relaxed conversation. We wish him the best.
Warm & welcoming host!
Well prepared Italian cuisine, attentive service, and an environment quiet enough for conversation. What else can one ask for?
Incredible food. Quite and classssy
This is a family owned and run restaurant with emphasis on good and authentic Italian cooking well presented, first rate and friendly attentive service, all presented under great ambiance. Outdoor dining was conducted in the alleyway next to the restaurant, with the resultant setting reflecting a duplication of al fresco style in a neighborhood in Milan, Assisi, Verona —- take your pick.
To prevent me from getting a parking ticket, the owner personally moved my car to a more suitable location.
The diners two tables from us made the observation that they had been dining here for the past 3 years and had yet to encounter a subpar dish.
The wine list offered a variety of selections that paired well with the menu items.
Highly recommend this first rate neighborhood gem.
La Bruschetta never fails to provide good food and service. We ordered the specials, which were fish and pasta. Excellent! We were a party of 6 and the noise level was a little bit high, but ultimately the experience was great and we will return again soon.
My ratings said it all. It's nice to be back and able to eat inside
Cute interior, very attentive staff. Food was executed well. Seems like prices are a couple $ off but no big deal.
We had a delicious dinner here last night, sitting at the window table inside and loving the low-key vibe. Thank you owner Angelo for taking the time to visit our table and share your story about how you survived the last year, learned many valuable lessons and mastered the art of "to go meals." Kudos to you!
I have been going to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant for many, many years. It make me sad to think that anyone would write an unkind word about this little gem - especially after coming out of the trauma of Covid and the battle to survive when owning a restaurant throughout that time. There are no two more gracious hosts than Angelo and his lovely wife Suzanna.
Now that everything has reopened, life is busy and people are enjoying getting out and being happy. Nobody should complain about this restaurant....if they need to they should certainly stay home!
Always a great experience all the way around.
