Great food. Reasonably priced. Family run and been around a long time.
One of the most amazing dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life! The owner Angelo and his wife give a personal touch that’s unmatched and takes you back to old world dining!!!
The owner and his grandson went above and beyond to make sure our experience was wonderful. They set us up a perfect table outside and accommodated our party with ease. The food was delicious. Thank you!
Food was ok. I had the Caesar salad. The dressing lacked the tanginess you normally get from the dressing. It tasted creamy and plain. For my main course I ordered the special, braised rib ravioli. The gravy was a bit watery and the mushrooms lacked flavor. The food was enjoyable, but it wasn’t top notch.
Excellent customer service. Great food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great. Always meets expectations.
Always great food and service.
Food was great. Socially distanced tables. Really friendly staff. Hospitable. For our first time in a restaurant in a year it was a pleasure.
Excellent food and atmosphere. I have been a patron for 35 years at this family owned restaurant and go there as often as I can.
From the greeting to the goodbyes you are treated like family. All your wants and needs are catered to with great food, wine and service. Outdoor setting reminds you of a setting in a small-town in Italy. Our favorite place to dine.
Angelo and his staff are the best. Every time we come will you feel special and I feel like I’m getting a home cooked Italian meal. You get the best food that LA has to offer without the tourist trap names in Beverly Hills.
Our waiter was very personable and made perfect recommendations for dinner. The homemade pasta - gnocchi pesto and orecchiette pasta was the best we’ve had! Top it all off with a creme brûlée our daughter raved over and the molton chocolate cake.
I have been going to La Bruschetta for over 25 years. I am never disappointed with the service or the food. They always have it right. You feel at home.
Absolutely fantastic! The service by Jonathan was impeccable and we got to meet the owner, Angelo - who was so gracious and kind. Would absolutely go back! We had the best time.
After a year of not going out to dinner , dinner at la brushetta was like going home staff was glad to see us, tgey made us feel so welconed, food and wind spectacular and new outdoor eating area just beautiful like beingvin Italy.
Very clever use of outdoor space , comfortable and warm! It can be great in the summer, too!
The food was delicious, although the veggies could use a little variety instead of the same assortment on every plate. But dessert, a chocolate molten cake with ice cream on the side, was fabulous!
Friendly host and staff made the evening complete! Highly recommended by this longtime customer.
Excellent Italian food and great service. I love this family owned restaurant.
A wonderful family-run, neighborhood Italian restaurant. My personal favorites are the starters, risotto and pasta.
Food was fantastic. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved the service and it was such a great ambiance!
Wonderful experience as always. Michele was incredible, and the food was to die for as always.
It was very tasty! I loved the ambiance, the staff, and the food!
My husband and I were on our first date night since LA began to reopen. Unfortunately, we did not feel like the set up was safe. The alley is narrow and due to a lot of foot traffic, we felt like we had to keep our masks on practically the whole time. There was a large party of 10+ people at the table next to us and altogether, the evening there was disappointing.
Being from Rome, I have high standards of authentic Italian cucina. La Bruschetta is top notch, just like good homemade Italian food in Italy. Angelo and Michele made us feel at home, like family. We are new to the neighborhood but can already tell that this will be our go to for incredible Italian dining. Can’t wait to go back!
Quaint, authentic Italian. A hidden gem in Westwood - highly recommended. Outdoor seating is in between the buildings away from the road and not on the sidewalk. Excellent setup.
Food and service were excellent. They’ve done a fantastic job considering having to serve outdoor...Quality of the food has never changed..
Great service and food. Very safe environment. Will definitely go back soon for dinner.
One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve dined at in LA. Family owned and operated, everything on the menu is outstanding.
Excellent service, wonderful ambience. Food was great.
Wonderful experience, delicious food, and great family owned restaurant. #HIDDENGEM
Dinner outside was lovely. We have been here many times and the food is always good. Service is friendly and professional. A real gem in Westwood and a good value.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant which is making the best of the current challenges. We want to support their effort and hope they can keep up until we can do indoor dining.
Please support them.
Excellent food and service outdoors . Friendly and obliging owner. Delicious risotto with shrimp, lobster and linguini.
We love the restaurant. A real family italian with wonderful food. I love the bolognese and the gnocchi pesto. Warm, inviting and friendly.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It is hands down the best, cutest, most romantic, Italian restaurant. My girlfriend and I found this place by accident and thank God for that because we go back to celebrate every chance we get. You gotta try it and get the SURPRESA dessert.
Best Italian on the west side. Angelo is the best!
A lovely evening under the stars. Tables well spaced and people were friendly eager to chat with other diners. We appreciate having an opportunity to dine in such lovely atmosphere.
The food was marginal, I had Chicken Piccata, which was a bit bland served with broccoli that was way overcooked. I have had better meals there but the service was great as always.
They're doing their best in light of Covid. Outdoor seating adjacent to the restaurant is nicely done and pleasant. Service was great and food delicious. Tiramisu could have been a little better, but great overall.
Outstanding service and food. I have enjoyed every meal I have ever had at La Bruschetta over the last 30+ years. I first came here as a student at UCLA with my parents in the late 80s and now I’m lucky to be back in the area often with my daughter attending UCLA. Wonderful family run restaurant and I look forward to dining here and seeing Angelo and Jonathan again soon!
