Embrace the authenticity of unique cultures at La Brasa where Okc meets sophisticated ambience, cuisine, and rustic style. This magnificent restaurant and lounge opened recently Sept 20, 2013 and is located right in the heart of the Asian District inside the historic Kamp's building.
Indulge in Okc's authentic flair while enjoying exotic coctails like Peruvian Pisco Sours, Peruvian Mules, Caipirinhas, Lotus Flowers and the best in live music and djs. We invite you to join us for what we do best…party! La Brasa is in the heart of all the action.
La Brasa is my favorite place for dinner in OKC. Excellent food, ton of variety on menu, and great atmosphere!
We’ve been there several times and the food is always wonderful!
I love the scenery , the music , the food and also had a great waitress , the only downfall was when we were seated nobody assisted us with anything for about 20 mins , not even offered water . Other than my overall experience was great.
La Brasa was an amazing experience! We loved both the food and the ambiance. We left wondering why in the world we had never been there before! Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Fun atmosphere!
Everything we ate was delicious. We were celebrating a special occasion but I didn’t feel like we could linger.
Had a great dinner and loved the vibe at La Brasa. Will visit again soon.
Celebrated a birthday here. We eat at La Brasa often. Usually the food and service is outstanding. It was lacking this time. They have a limited beer menu, they were out of ginger for the mule drink, they brought some strange fish for the sea bass (if we didn't point it out would have been charged $37) the service was agonizingly slow. 2.5 hours for a party of 4. The manager promised a glass of wine and it took 10 minutes to arrive.
Excellent food. Fun atmosphere. Welcoming wait staff.
Great server though bar drinks were slow. Excellent dinner! Love the vibe😎
I can’t say enough about the vibe of this place! Amazing decor and the lighting was perfect! Nothing annoys my partner and I more than bad lighting at a restaurant! Food was delicious, but I’d say it’s on the more expensive side. Safe to say this is my new favorite place in OKC!
Peruvian and Asian fusion. Best in town.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the selection of music and loved the scenery and lighting. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Definately will be coming back to La Brasa.
Great place for dinner with friends. We were not aware that it turns into a club on Friday nights and were a little taken back on how the atmosphere changed from a classy dinner to hood music. Nothing bad but were just a little confused. We were waiting for a friend to come and had to move from our table to the back corner.
Me encanto ss uno de mis lugares favoritos sin duda bolveremos 😊👍
A wonderful dining experience. I did get an email stating that my reservation was made unavailable, so I called the restaurant and they confirmed that my reservation was there and active. Very friendly staff, amazing food and a low noise level... a new favorite place!
I was really looking forward to this meal as the menu looked fantastic however for the price point It turned out to be disappointing. The house salads we got with our meal was basically bagged spring mix drizzled with some kind of vinegarette. The dressing was very tasty but the overall composition of the salad seemed lazy and uninspired. For our entree we split the whole roast chicken which had excellent seasoning but was slightly overcooked and then served to us luke warm, and since it arrived barely a minute after our salads it sat on the table getting colder for the next 10 minutes. We also got a side of black beans and rice which was entirely disspraportioned. It was roughly 3 cups of well prepared basmati rice topped with around 2 tablespoons of black beans and a half dozen pieces of mushy flavorless diced tomato. The highlight of the meal was the jalepeno mac cheese which was really quite good. I would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss my meal with the restaurant but not once during the course of my meal did anyone ask me how it was.
I was not going to go out of my way to explain to them my disappointment, and I tend to believe if a restaurant values customer input they ask for it. To make a long story short I had very high hope's for this place but it left me disappointed in the end.
Valentines Date. Best restaurant in the whole city! James Vu is a wizard. Always, amazing!
I’ve been here a couple time for the night dancing and very much enjoyed treating out my parents here. Totally worth every penny. I wish I remembered my server’s name. She always seemed to come at the right time for everything. Thanks for having us. I’d honestly come again.
We walked in on time and our reservation was not quite ready. Walk up to the bar, five minutes past standing there and no bartender ever greeted. Fine, so we walk to our table. Waiter was extremely nice, but there was 2-3 of them for the entire restaurant. Poorly staffed. Food was, as always, to die for. However, the entire Valentines meal took a little over two hours for a three course meal. Asked the waiter to just pack up dessert so we could go. Mixed drinks took 15-20 minutes each and beer 3-7 minutes. The experience was less than desirable for a special occasion due to the poor staffing arrangements. Some of the worst service in the city for the price point they are asking for. My overall rating comes directly from the food and ambiance.
Terrible Valentines Day Dinner for 65.00 with only a few things available on the menu. Service was terrible and the food was overcooked. We asked for a manager and no one showed up for 30-35mins, which he said he did not want to lose his job instead of making sure we were satisfied with service and the food. No one came to refill waters or check on us. I will never return to this restaurant ever again. I have had better service at Chilis ordering 3 for 10.00.
2nd time here and it was a nightmare. Food was cold. Items were forgotten managment was terrible
Wasted $142.00 for terrible service and food. They care more about the dollar than satisfying customers. I would strongly recommend not coming here! Management needs adjustments!
Valentine dinner was a fixed menu with great choices, delicious food, and complimentary champagne. Great service, very attentive and professional, despite the busy night. All in all it was a very lovely romantic dinner. One can not go wrong with La Brasa.
We had a wonderful experience on Valentines Day. They had a delightful 4-course dinner with several options at each course. I had the breaded shrimp, tuna ceviche, beef filet and 1/2 chicken platter with Peruvian chocolate cake for dessert. My wife had the fresh salmon appetizer, tuna ceviche, filet, and chocolate cake.
Everything was delicious! The ambiance was inviting and colorful! We would go back in a heart beat.
Great food, great service.
First time to try the shrimp tamale appetizer. It was outstanding. La Brasa never fails. Service is always friendly. Ambiance is warm. Music is good. We try new restaurants all the time and this is still my favorite restaurant in OKC.
My husband and I went here for our 9th anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing! We will definitely go back.
Food and service is always amazing!
Love this place!! The vibe is incredible! I enjoyed the entire experience. The food is magnificent! I will definitely go again and recommend others to do the same.
Best food and best service !! The customers are friendly and the environment is welcoming!
Go! Amazing experience, not just a meal. We ordered the family meal $70 chicken...,, came with 4 chickens and amazing sides (jalapeño Mac & cheese, broasted corn). 10 sauces & lettuce to make wraps. Simply delicious...easily feed 6. Can’t wait to go back. I loved it but bumping loud music.
Great ambiance and very good food. One of the best restaurants to visit in Oklahoma
We had a great meal, service was great and we enjoyed visiting with friends.
Great service and lots of fun. Great place on okc.
The manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special. The wait staff were incredibley nice and attentive. Food was delicious. We had a great evening!
I had the Dolsot Bibimbap and it was excellent. The entire dish was wok fried and the rice was caramelized in the overall juices. This is our 4th time at La Brasa and we will definitely return. The waitress help me pick this dish out and i now have a new favorite but i will continue to try new items.
Excellent overall. You feel like you are in another country.
Good overall just felt it was a bit expensive
