I had the sea bass and it was perfect. The sides were hot and the fish cooked perfectly. The margaritas were very tasty and had enough liquor. My friend had the rib eye which got a 10 score for being hot and perfectly cooked. We will definitely go back.
Caution- the food at this restaurant is highly addictive!! I experienced La Brasa for the first time a couple of months ago and this restaurant is now one of my favorite restaurants in OKC. The ambiance is relaxing, yet energetic. I absolutely love the lighting and choice of music. Service is excellent. I highly recommend starting out with queso, guacamole, and tuna ceviche. I’m a queso snob and the queso at La Brasa is one of the best!! I hate seafood but the tuna ceviche is simply devine. As my main course, I selected the Lomo Saltado, which is the best marinated filet mignon I have ever eaten. All of the flavors in this dish come together beautifully and will leave you wanting to come back for more.
Great food as always but service was very poor
We had dinner with two friends for the first time since Covid Pandemic. This restaurant is very big inside and we felt safe being spaced over 6 feet from others. The Chilean sea bass was wonderful. Their 20 spice grilled chicken is my absolute favorite also. We had a really fun time.
Drinks were good and strong.
Food was delicious and good sized portions..... glad I only order the half on the chicken. Brussel sprout appetizer was really good.
Came in for lady's birthday.. definitely will be back.
Really enjoyed the food and ambience service not as good as could have been but overall really enjoyed it!
We celebrated my daughters birthday Saturday night and it was the best. Peyton was our waitress and she was awesome. The food and drinks were just axing. The atmosphere is the coolest, funnest vibe in OKC. Love love loved it. Can’t wait for another reason to come back!!
Loved it. Will be back. Food was wonderful. Atmosphere is great. Will be back on a date with hubby later. Only thing I didn't like, was my table near entrance. Every time someone entered doors, it was very cold. Willamette sure to reserve table NOT near doors.
We almost left the moment we were seated. The "music" was loud and offensive (as we got to the table, the rap music dropped the MF bomb). Fortunately, the staff (hostesses and servers) were exceptional. My wife's food was very good; mine, rather bland. My wife thinks we should come back on a night other than Friday, so we may, but it is well overpriced even for a comfortable restaurant. If I come back and the headache-inducing noise is still going, I will thank the nice host/hostess and turn around never to return.
My wife picked this place, because she read they offered free dance lessons. We are looking to rekindle the fire in our marriage. Although the lessons are temporarily on hold for COVID considerations, (our waiter said they might restart the dancing in a month,) the ambiance was perfect for us. Romantic, yet lively!
Young, hipster, and loud. I felt like the old guy in the bar so thankfully I was with friends my age.
Delicious! Great atmosphere and really enjoyed the dinner.
Amazing experience and exceptional service!
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our server was not very attentive. We would have stayed longer and ordered more drinks if he would have paid more attention to our table.
The music is too loud
Very disappointed in the noise level. Had to ask multiple times for volume to be turned down but it would get turned up again. I was there with a group celebrating the birthday of a deceased friend with his mother and closest friends. We could not hear each other talk and this is our time to get together to catch up and remember our friend. I have been to LaBrasa many times and never remember the sound being so loud. Just sad that I should have picked somewhere else for this occasion.
We took some friends--friends who don't eat out much and don't like trying new things. They were SO impressed and said they'd definitely eat there again.
Pretty impressed. Ambiance was fantastic and the chicken was off the charts!
March 12th was our first family gathering since the start of the pandemic. I had requested a table for 6 that was socially distanced from other diners, and the table we had was perfect! Our server Landon and those who assisted him did an outstanding job! The food was fantastic and the drinks came promptly.
Great experience overall. One minor exception, they are not big on after dinner drinks such as Port or coffee.
The food is always amazing, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. The drinks tasted good but it is clear they water down their alcohol, very noticeable.
Great energy and great food.
Great food and service in a fun atmosphere. Always love going there.
It was my birthday and a last minute reservation. When my husband told the waiter, he got us a better spot! The food was delish and the service top notch! A new favorite spot!!
I had to ask the servers to clean off the table multiple times, they would grab one or two plates and then not come back and than I would have to ask again. The some of the young servers has one AirPod in there ears and were more interested dancing than doing their actual job. The service was just not up to par. I would assume that just because we were a table to three they gave more attention to the bigger tables.
The atmosphere is amazing. The drinks and app was pretty tasty too. The food was just okay.
First time there for my husband and me. The other two couples insisted we needed to experience this place. It is beautiful, fun and trendy. We loved it! The food was amazing! The drinks were fantastic!
Great food and really great atmosphere. Our server was very prompt and helped us see some of the favorites on the menu. He really took care of us. Also the decor and vibe was unique and fun. The food was very delicious - a great take on Peruvian/Cuban/some Asian influence in the cuisine. We will definitely return and bring friends! I had the chimichurri steak with an order of fried plantains. My wife had the Pollo de Brasa, the Peruvian chicken, which was very delicious and had wonderful sauces to use. My wife's favorite thing of the night was the salad and salad dressing, their Asian inspired dressing.
La Brasa is one of the best restaurants in OKC. The tuna ceviche and sea bass is our favorite thing to eat. Great cocktails as well.
We went here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and was so happy that we made that choice. I love when restaurants actually read the notes attached to your reservation. When we were escorted to our table, we arrived to a large "Happy Anniversary" sign on the table and a nice table setting. Our waiter was amazing and the food was exquisite. When we return to OKC for another visit, La Brasa will definitely be on our list.
The food and ambience is always up to par and Pisco sour can’t be beat. Our waitress was very efficient and polite.
The food is always delicious... we love going there!
Love the food!!!
The hip vibe here was as advertised. Good music, albeit a little loud. Our table for two was very wobbly. The service was okay, but not great. We had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and both had roasted half chicken as entree. Chicken was tasty, but not sure it's worth the $18 price. The black beans and rice were, well, black beans and rice. And chimichurri asparagus was just roasted asparagus. Best thing on the table was the side salad and phenomenal dressing. Overall, okay. I would recommend La Brasa an interesting dinner option. But there are far better places in the metro for a $100 meal for two.
Excellent food and atmosphere.
Reservation at 5:15 was a perfect time, didn't get busy and louder until closer to us leaving at about 7pm. Service was amazing, young man who took care of us was so great....I don't recall his name! I love to ask what they suggest and he suggested the trio meat dish with two sides...said broccolini was amazing and it was! Sea bass wasn't anything I'd had before but my husband and I shared this dish and it was fantastic!! Only complaint was 4 drinks and sharing the entree our bill with a generous tip was over $200 but worth it for Valentine's Day dinner...expensive for a regular Friday night! Highly recommend!!
I really would like for someone to contact me because I have been to la brasa on several occasions an the service an food was wonderful but this time when it really counted it was the worst service I have ever came in contact with. I bragged to friends an family about how great the restaurant was but this time it was further from the truth. We kept asking for drinks some people never received them food took hours to come out I asked for our cake 4 times because since everything else was so slow we were pressing for time. I really felt like we were forgot about cause no one was coming to check on my party. Once the cake came out we got Togo containers and asked for checks we distinguished what went on each check an they had to be corrected multiple times. Our server yelled at us and while we were still in the back then another server came back there and we were asked why we were still there we explained we had been told to wait there an had been waiting on tickets for over 30 minutes. At that point we went to the front where the cash register was an was being yelled at saying we were in the way mind you this is where they told us to come an we were a party of 18. The terrible service and the yelling was completely uncalled for and the fact that we talked with the manager because tickets were not right after about the 6th time an was basically told to email later how is me paying an the rest of my party paying for their incorrect tickets a solution then we watch a man say hey my ticket is incorrect an the server says hey man don’t worry about it this is on the house. How does this work I brought in a lot of business that night an there was not even a resolution to my ticket an it was my birthday party it messed my night up an the fact that I left there really late I missed my next appointment and lost money at an establishment that I had rented for the night because I was not there on time my BIRTHDAY was ruined.
The food was amazing! The service was a bit slow. We waited a good 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. But the food... the food was outstanding.
Amazinggggggg food. Great atmosphere. Only thing that needs work is that the server we had needed more educated on what she served us. We spent over $200 on a family meal
For 4 which was amazing as usual. However our server brought the 6-7 sauce options included and she really had no idea what any of them were.
Overall this place is amazing. Our 2nd time there and the chicken and steak cooking and flavoring is one of the best if not the best in the state.
