This was our first visit to La Brasa and we chose this place for our anniversary. You'd think La Brasa would give a little extra attention for a couple choosing to celebrate there but instead we were seated at a tiny table in the main walkway. For a first time visitor and a couple celebrating I think you'd want to make them feel very welcome so that they are more inclined to come back. Our server was gone for a very long time while we waiting to order drinks. The food and atmosphere was very good. I really enjoyed the vibe but it did start to get pretty loud later in the evening making it difficult for casual conversation. Drinks were really well made. I would go back if I was in the area but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to return.
Delightful evening! We had a private room with 18 guests. Food was wonderful. Xavier, the waiter did an outstanding job!
Always a good time and the experience is nothing short of awesome
Great food, great atmosphere
First time and we will be back!
FOOD- NOTHING RIGHT
We have always enjoyed dining at La Brasa, but this time seemed to even surpass our past visits. We were there early because we had 7:30 theater tickets, so it was still rather quiet for a place that really hops the later it gets. We like it both ways! Our appetizer, the tuna tower, was incredible. It would actually make a great entree if you weren't starving, but wanted something really tasty. It paired great with our Riff Sauvignon Blanc. My husband had his usual, the Polla a la Brasa, the whole chicken. Delicious. I tried the Dolsot Bibimbap for the first time. Oh my. This was truly one of the best entrees I have ever enjoyed. The flavors of the veggies, rice, spices and the fried egg all melded together in the hot skillet were perfect. I added tofu and it was cooked to perfection. Both entrees were huge, so we took the rest home and enjoyed it for dinner again the next night. Our server was charming and everything arrived in a timely manner (but not too fast!) and at the right temperature. It was a lovely dinner.
My absolute favorite spot for dinner in OKC. The food is ALWAYS 10/10, the service is great, and the cocktails are as pretty as they are delicious.
Food was absolutely amazing. I suggest getting the chocolate mousse for dessert. I’ve already told family and friends and we will definitely be back
Great new flavors; great atmosphere. Feel free to dress up or come casual. I'm always surprised at how easy it is to get a table here.
Thank you Xavier for outstanding service. Lively, fun vibe. Food was terrific.
The food was absolutely delicious!! And the wait staff was really kind and helpful. I will definitely be going back!
Was looking forward to trying Peruvian food in OKC and maybe my expectations were too high.
The restaurant is attractive on the inside.
The food is definitely not just Peruvian, but for Pete’s sake, the lomito saltado was average at best. The meat was not cut in strips but rather larger chunks, the sauce was lackluster and the green aji was not spicy. NOT worth the price.
The pisco sour cocktail was overly sweet and weak. They did remake it and it tasted a little better, even if still weak.
Dinner for 2 with a shared app, 2 drinks and 2 main plates was $100. Would have been good at 2/3 that price.
Next time I’m in OKC will try a different Peruvian restaurant.
Food was amazing, service was poor. We had to wait a long time to refill our water and also for the check.
We are multiple time repeat diners here. It’s fun and good. Try it
Our favorite date night and special occasion treat. The portions are heaping and the drinks are delicious. So much flavor in every dish. Dessert is a must as well!
Hard for me to give 5 stars for any review reserving that for those rare exceptional experiences, but this one was close. Awesome menu, great food and amazing ambiance. Very eclectic and unique which lends to their ability to convert from a restaurant over to a night club at 10:30pm. My review is strictly based on the restaurant experience. Truly a great evening out with friends. Lots of cozy semi-private seating for small groups to feel like they are the only ones there.
We had an excellent experience, but we were disappointed in the fact that certain menu items were unavailable due to the lack of supplies from your grocery delivery.
Food and wait staff were great!! We had the wings and brussel sprouts as an appetizer and split the Sea Bass for our dinner. All of it was wonderful.
Great food and service.
We were there for our anniversary. Usually this place is absolutely perfect, this time a little different than the other times I’ve been there. I showed up a little early for my reservation and they still seated me and were nice enough to check me in. We waited probably 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. The waiter was friendly but apparently new and didn’t know a lot about the menu. My favorite at labrasa has always been the tacu tacu steak with rice, it’s no longer on the menu and I asked if it’s still available but not listed and he looked at me confused and told me he had no idea but would ask. Came back and said it was only on the Wednesday menu? Anyway the steak I got had an egg on it also but was on mashed potatoes the steak was ok but not great which isn’t usually the case here the fried plantains were over done and gritty. My wife ordered chicken and it was cooked perfectly. The jalapeño mac and cheese was great!
The food and décor are very unique. We love it. The Pollo La Brasa is a good value and delicious.
Great food and great live music on Friday nights! The drinks were amazing and Hector was a great server!
La Brasa USED to be one of our favorite restaurants. But when a place tries to be too hip and too cool, it just starts to be tacky. Offensive words line the walls. Our $79 entree was thrown in the middle of a large brown plastic tray with nothing else around it. The signature chicken was dry and tasteless. We brought a friend for the first time, and were embarrassed by the whole evening. We probably won't be back.
Our waiter was terrific and the food and drinks super tasty. We will definitely be back.
We came here based off a recommendation by a friend. It exceeded our expectations by far. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was amazing. Has a such a cool vibe and it looks really nice. Different from any place we've been to in the OKC Area and has already become the favorite of places. Will definitely be regulars. We were greeted from the moment we walked in and had the best service you can expect the entire time. The prices are on point for the high quality food and beverages.
It was a great experience. The entire staff was friendly. The food was amazing and flavorful.
The wait staff and food were excellent as always but for some reason they had a live jazz band at 8:00 on a Friday night. This wasn’t some polite bit of ambiance tucked in a corner of the restaurant, it was like a concert. Don’t get me wrong, the band was talented but it was so loud my friends and I couldn’t hear each other talk for the majority of our meal. Maybe I’m in the minority but on a Friday after working all week I just wanted a calm dinner with my friends to talk and enjoy La Brasa’s delicious food. We’ll be back but maybe when they’re not planning to have a concert during the dinner service.
We love the ambience at La Brasa and the food and service are always outstanding.
After being seated by the hostess, the head waiter chose to move us to a nicer table that was very considerate (and not requested by us). He then served us a glass of champagne in honor of our 25th wedding anniversary. From the appetizer to the main course, the food was excellent, as was the service. Fun atmosphere and a place that we will definitely visit again.
Incredible service, awesome vibe, comfy seating, and so much fun.
Outstanding service. our servers were excellent in every aspect. Couldn't have asked for better. The food was quite good, well prepared with good seasoning. We did splurge for desert with the only downside that they didn't get their coffee shipment in that morning. A minor blemish on an otherwise excellent evening.
Great experience. This was our first time in but will definitely be back.
The menu online says the Chaufa combo is $17.00. When we got the bill, it was $24.00. Okay; so a $7.00 price difference... I could live with that if it was worth it and was good. My dish had 2 small shrimp, a bit of shredded chicken, and a little bit of gray looking beef with a lot of rice. $24.00? No way. It wasn’t worth half that. Not much to it but a bunch of rice. 2 tiny shrimp? Really? I was disappointed in it. This was our second and last trip to this restaurant. The first trip I wrote off as a bad night in the kitchen, but twice in a row is my fault for going back. Sorry La Brasa; you’re all hype and no delivery.
Incredible food and amazing atmosphere! We had such a great experience. We will definitely be back soon!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us make our final choice. The food was delicious and the presentation was spectacular. Incredible fine dining at a great price.
Food was excellent! Our server X did an awesome job! We are looking forward to going back!
Absolutely love the food. Have never had anything that wasn't delicious there and the wait staff are very attentive.
The food was delicious!!! Love the chicken!!!
Was here for Birthday dinner the food was amazing, our server was great. Bartender a little slow making our cocktails orders, waited over then 20 minutes for the last drink. My friend asked if I can get complimentary dessert for my birthday and they gave churros and ice cream without candle, I wish they can do more then churros for birthday guests. But we love our dinner anyway.
