La Boucherie - Orlando
The most noble cuts of sirloin are selected for their flavor and tenderness. Grilled on a plancha by industry professionals, our cuts keep their savor, tenderness and keep our name amongst some of the best steakhouse in the world.
Everything was perfect. From cocktails to food. The value and the portions are super. You get excellent food ,and great service! Definitely coming back!
A great find, not a question of IF we will go back but how soon
This was my 3rd time there. The first time, my steak was done better than anywhere I’ve ever had. The next occasion it was overdone but edible, the third time, ordered the steak medium rare (hot red center), came out well done- absolutely no pink. My two colleagues ordered the same way and also came out overdone. They recited our steaks and came out medium- medium well. Terrible kitchen those 2 nights. The waiter then proceeded to explain that Americans typically don’t like rare steaks...well, when ordered that way, cook it that way
The escargo was very buttery and garlicky. The steaks are very thin. They have big salads and the duck was good. Overall, the food and ambiance was average.
We really liked La Boucherie. We had the Steak Frites and Lamb shank . We shared escargot app and a goat cheese salad. All the food was excellent. The cut of beef was very thin and looked differently than steak in the US but was really tender and flavorful a winner! The French fries were good and hot. My wife loved her lamb shank.
This restaurant is a French chain. It has a different feel and look to the menu. The food was very good and the price is reasonably maybe even inexpensive for the area. If you are in the mood for something different a must try.
It was really great!
Ambiance agréable, excellente qualité de nourriture service sympa
Good restaurant excellent food and service i
Great meal with a decidedly French feel. No pretension, just well prepared, nicely presented fare.
Had a great time. Jenny was our server and she was awesome!
Was always told if you can't say something nice; don't say anything. In this case I feel that it should be addressed if they want to me to ever come back.
First time there, owners greeted us at door, service excellent, steak as ordered, good cheese plate and wine list, full bar
You can sit outside if you don’t mind looking at the parking lot.
Not a tourist trap. We will certainly go back and would like to try at lunchtime.
Whether you want to try french food or are missing french food, this is the place to go! The service was warm, the food, really good french style and the ambience, just perfect! It is a "must try" and "must go back" restaurant. We ordered foie gras, escargot, steak frite, and french burger... we would have ordered more, but there will be a next time for that.
Not the typical Orlando tourist trap such as Bahama Breeze.
You feel welcome from the beginning to the end and they do not try to push you out the door as soon as you sit down to turn the table.
The food is fresh and excellent, drinks are generous and not over priced.
Very good experience overall, will definitely go back
I think you need a better way to indicate noise level. Is high "good" or is high "noisy?" The noise level was very good (i.e., we had no problem conversing). The service was a bit slow that evening, but I think that was an anomaly as it was spot on in the past. The food is excellent, the drink is excellent, and it is an excellent value. We will return!
Food was very good, tasty and satisfying. Service was great cuz we never felt rushed and the server was always there when you needed him.
I've been here twice now and both times enjoyed my meal. I brought my friend from lunch for her birthday a month ago and the salads were 👌 delicious. Tonight, 4of us had a wonderful dinner. Don't miss the beef short ribs.
Food is wonderful and flavorful; choices essentially unlimited. Service was excellent and very considering. My second time at La Boucherie - it will become a favorite !!!!
Patio dining. Excellent service and relaxed meal pace.
Appetizer dinner and desert—all well prepared and good value Duck breast was outstanding.
Is Valentine’s Day ,, especial day for me and my wife,, this restaurant only had a Valentine’s menu ,,, first the food was late to the table and on top the wrong order was brought, then dessert 30 minutes to serve the same problem wrong desert, and to top it off the menu was a special Valentine’s value choice of the item for $45 , entree, main course, and desert wend the bill came they add $7 on my order because the shrimp was extra but no where on the special value choice didn’t say nothing of the choices u pick there was extra charge. Spent 3 hrs to have bad service and get over charge ,,, ask for the manager I was told he step out for a minute not in the restaurant ,, so I don’t recommend to no one .
Aewesome food! Awesome experience!! I have been going to their other restaurant Cafe de Paris for over 10 years for breakfast and lucnh. Now dinner at La Boucherie is great!
Very attentive service. Worked with us as the size of our group changed. Would recommend for a fun casual business meal. We had 15 in our group. We were treated well.
Made an online reservation. The service was prompt and very friendly. The owner came by to see how we were doing. My wife and I both had Le Maquignon, and it was delicious. Looking around, the meals others had ordered looked fantastic. The restaurant was busy with a lot of locals. The bill was under $50 for food and drinks. I definitely recommend this place.
Basically very good food , a bit pricey ,but enjoyable , and a great waiter .
What a great dining experience! The food was fabulous. The escargot and braised beef rib are AMAZING ...that wine sauce! Service was warm and efficient and server and owner seemed sincerely committed to making our experience a good one. Wine was great. Prices reasonable. We will be regulars!
This ended up being a horrible experience and I cannot express just how disappointed we were that we made the trek out for such a debacle. It's a super funking setting in a large strip mall and seems to have an identity crisis. The menu has Denny's/iHop style photos of the food and the tables are set to resemble some kind of semi-picnic table motif. Seating was cramped and we could not get in and out of the chairs without bumping other diners. We were seated at 7:40 PM and ordered a two cocktails and a pate. Cocktails came in about ten minutes with some bread and butter, reasonable for the amount of business that evening. We then ordered a second app and each ordered the highly recommended beef ribs and a side of asparagus. At about 8:00 the pate arrived and it was very good. Second app arrived (for the life of me, I cannot remember it) at about 8:15. At the 8:45 mark the waited came by to say that he was sorry the food wasn't out yet but the kitchen was backed up. We said we understood but wanted to get it soon because we had a concert to go to that was supposed to start at 9:15. We asked for a second round of cocktails. At 9 PM, we had not yet received the cocktails nor the food and I grabbed the waited to say that it was REALLY taking too long. Five minutes later, 9:05 PM, the food came and was placed by a "manager" who apologized. Still no drinks. We each took our first bites and everything on the plate was ICE cold. Seriously, It was like they were sitting in a refrigerator prior to being plated and presented to us. At that point we'd had enough and told them it was unacceptable to serve food like that, especially after a one hour wait. I asked for the check for what we'd eaten and was told that it was on the house. That was the right thing to do and I appreciate it but this was one of the worst experiences that we've EVER had anywhere. I would never go back and cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Fun restaurant, very nice wait staff and they make sure that everything is as ordered. Great food for the $.
Good food....priced right....captures the essence of French food.....loved the food and the ambiance....
The moderately priced food was worth much more. We enjoyed both of our entrees We are very discerning diners but we agreed to return at a later date which to us says it all. The Lamb Shank was fall off the bone delicious. The Flank Steak which was not marinated was tender nonetheless with great flavor. My only criticism was the Pepper Sauce as in "Au Poivre" needed to be thicker and a tad creamier and a slightly larger portion. We'll be back!!
AMAZING! What a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. The Owner of the restaurant came over to greet us as we were being seated. The space is well decorated. I had escargot, goat cheese side salad and Pot-Au-Few a flagship French dish with pearl onions, radishes, carrots and celery. I ordered it with bone marrow. Delicious! Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. My guest ordered the bone in ribeye steak which was also delicious. Four and half out of 5 stars.
Food was great. Staff was great and Claude the owner made sure everything was to your satidfaction and very hands on. nice touch.
Enjoyed our evening. Wonderful staff good food. Would cone again.
1st time last night and it was great! Jonathan the server was fantastic pacing us. We were not in a hurry and he respected that. Owner stopped by in our table to say hello. Nice detail!
Only thing I wish they change is allowing patrons to bring their own wine and charge for corkage. Wine list is too basic and I always bring my wine to every restaurant in Orlando. Only Christini’s and this restaurant don’t allows it
I really wanted to like this restaurant, and the reviews were good. Unfortunately we didn't experienced anything like the reviews said. Food quality was not good, the flavors were not there and the lamb shank I had was beyond tough (I felt like I was being pranked), I couldn't even put my fork into it when its supposed to be so tender it falls of the bone.. well not this one! The service wasn't good at all either, I was needing napkings all through dinner and server never came to check up on us. One good thing, the owner approached us on our way out and asked about everything, we let him know more or less and he was really nice (because of this I think that all the reviews were just people who knows him). I left very sad and disappointed.
Great sauces! Claude is a fantastic host, making the experience warm and memorable.
Seating was cramped. We were placed next to the servers space for running peoples credit cards.
The side salad I ordered was all spring mix with some French fried onions that made it way too salty. Couldn’t taste any dressing. I wouldn’t recommend it. And there was a garnish of the same thing included with the lamb shank, which the server neglected to mention when I ordered.
The lamb shank was tender but lacked flavor. It was saved wonderfully by the pepper sauce on the side.
My husband enjoyed his burger with hash browns.
We will return but will try other dishes next time.
The main positive is the warmth of the servers and staff. They make you feel very welcome.
La Boucherie has some positive aspects: the servers were warm and friendly, tables were arranged comfortably apart from one another so that there was privacy, music was not too loud so conversation could flow and the menu looked really good. The negative we experienced involved the food. The steak in the steak frites dish had virtually no flavor and it was a very thin piece of meat, thinner than any steak frites we have had in many visits to France. We felt the accompanying French Fries were good, though. I thought the warm goat cheese salad was fine and my husband liked the carpaccio, but he complained that the meat was also sliced too thin. We would be willing to pay more than the inexpensive price on the menu in order to have the steak frites flavor and thickness that we enjoyed in France. The creme brûlée was good, but the profiterole did not approximate that famous French dessert. It seemed like a “formula” American dessert without finesse. As mentioned earlier, this restaurant has a lot going for it, but for us “foodies” we would hope that there would be improvements in the cuisine as the restaurant matures.
This service is great the atmosphere quiet and relaxing and the entrée pot’au’feu
was delicious and large enough to have fed four people.
Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared.
Service was great, the management was very friendly, great atmosphere. We will definitely go back.
French Restaurant 🇫🇷
We enjoyed dinner and will be back soon. Tomato slices with mozarrella, steak Frite, duck, escargots, orangina, and French beer were all great.
