We had eaten there a year ago and enjoyed excellent food and service. This was a horrible experience and no one in our group will go back. The restaurant was not full but we still had extraordinarily slow and poorly trained service. We had a 7:30 reservation and didn't finish until 11:00 pm because of the service. Additionally, the server did not know the menu well and actually gave us incorrect information on printed menu items. The quality of the food did not meet the expectations we had from our previous visit. It was obvious to our group that the management of this establishment had much to be desired.
Incredible views & great customer service!
I was expecting more flavor.... something was missing from both the steak and the salmon. For the price of the steak ($95), I expected it to change my life. I think Flemmings or Morton's, even Ruth Chris, would have done a bit better.
The experience overall, excellent. You get to pick your own steak knife (I never did that before), there is a sommelier on site to help pair your dished with the best wine, and the view is breathtaking. The side dishes were super tasty.
Again, just needed for flavor for the most expensive dishes.
Service was no where near up to par for the type of establishment we were in and for what we paid. $100 steak was overcooked beyond belief

Insanely expensive for good food. There are way better steaks out there that dont cost 75 bucks. If you are into paying 200 dollars to look out the window while you eat, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else to eat and then go get the view at the Spire bar on 73.
Enjoyed the experience beautiful view service was very good. Just little hiccup at end when leaving by the Manager which really upset me and left bad taste. Other than that really nice.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed by anything. This restaurant exceeded our expectations and was a very pleasant experience. We would recommend to anybody.
Took an hour and a half to get our steaks. One was over cooked, sent back and came back under, so sent back again. The other two were the correct cook (Medium Rare) but barely warm. The outside was warm the inside wasn’t. I think the other two steaks sat too long before coming out and then were flashed so the outside felt warm but the inside wasn’t.
Mac and Cheese was grainy, Mashed potatoes were just fine.
The octopus was the best part of the meal.
You’re better off going to Baltaire, CUT, or Mastro’s, especially for the price point.

Omg! This restaurant was everything that I imagined it to be. The food was amazing. I got the 42 day dry aged Ribeye with a lobster tail, mashed potatoes and spinach. And lots of drinks. I loved the ambiance , the amazing view of the city was a major Wow factor. My server (Ian) was absolutely awesome! This birthday was definitely one for the books.
Valet parking on 7th street. They do validate. Located on 71st floor. Amazing experience. Food was great!

La Boucherie exceeded my expectations! My husband and I came here for Valentines Day and also to celebrate our anniversary at this gorgeous restaurant. We were seated at a table right by the window with the most spectacular views of Los Angeles. Not only were we blown away by the views, but additionally, the service and food were top notch! La Boucherie is my new favorite restaurant in DTLA!
Steaks were not good, over cooked and did not seem like dry aged prime beef.
My only complaint is that the prices are very much over inflated. $18.00 bucks for macaroni and cheese in a tiny cup. Same for the Mashed potatoes $16.00 potatoes in a tiny cup. I expected high prices for the steaks and prime rib but the sides are way too high. Otherwise the food was great and the setting is spectacular. But this place is for very Special Occasions only in my mind.
This is a fantastic restaurant. The food and service are spectacular and the view is amazing. We started with Caviar and Champagne and Vodka. (And the best Oysters) - I highly recommend taking a long meal and enjoying the cheese tray, too. Wine list is extensive and it’s a great place for a special occasion!
Caviar was good. Escargot was dry and under seasoned even with the bone marrow. Wagyu beef was over cooked and under seasoned. 42 day dry aged ribeye was under seasoned and just average. It wasn’t bone-in and Applebee’s quality. The view was amazing but I’ll never eat there again. Even if I would have paid half as much I would have been completely dissatisfied.
We came here for our anniversary dinner with friends and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend combining the salt with the sauces for the steaks. Everyone ordered different types of steaks with sides of purée (smashes potatoes) and the mac & cheese. We finished dinner with the molten chocolate cake and the vanilla creme brûlée. Overall everything was on point.
In having dinner at various restaurants I have to say La Boucherie is one of the very few that can offer exceptional food, service , and a one of a kind view.
In regards to parking I recommend going across the street at the Ernst and young plaza parking structure that was $11.00 for 4 hours. It's a 3 minute walk to the hotel unless you don't mind paying valet that can be about $50 if you exceed the first two hours that the restaurant validates but there's still going to be fee for those first 2 hours.
Was my first time but for my fiancé was her second time but I love how they place us towards the view. The service was really friendly and bringing a smile to my fiancé face was priceless because it was her first time celebrating a Anniversary at her favorite place :) want to thank all the staff you guys rock !!!!! The food was amazing as well :)

The staff provides consistently high quality service, the chef is excellent at its job and the sommelier has lots of wonderful wines on offer. Absolutely worth returning!
Did I mention the view? No? Level 71 overlooking LA, spectacular just as the food.
As you might know the view was spectacular. The table set up was a little odd and the ambiance wasn’t very good (bright). The hostess and the maître’d were very accommodating and the service was good too, however the place is ridiculously overpriced (from the dishes to the wine selection). As with the majority of restaurants high up in the sky, you’re simply paying for the incredible view. Another complaint is that the restaurant states a strict dress code (jackets preferred for men) yet some patrons were in sneakers and t-shirts, which lowers the bar. It’s unlikely we’d return again.

Outstanding service from the reception until we left the restaurant. Our servers went above and beyond for us and very knowledgeable of the menu. The ambiance is just pure joy, classy, romantic and breath taking city view of Los Angeles. The food is just simply delicious and prepared perfectly complimented with just the right amount of flavors. I started with the lentil soup which is one of the best lentil I’ve had. Followed with a divine beet salad, halibut cooked and prepared to perfection and to top it off with my all time favorite delectable mouth watering Mousse Au chocalat dessert which is definitely a must at this place to get. Overall I love the experience and La Boucherie exceeded my expectations as always.
I would recommend it for the view and ambiance. You are on the top of Los Angeles so the view is exceptional at night. The food for 2 was about $150 with a glass of wine and was not that great tasting. I've made better Salmon at home on the grill.
The service is absolutely amazing. The staff are quick to fulfill any requests and do so in a respectful, helpful manner which helps to make you feel comfortable at the restaurant. The serving size of the food is enough to be filling, which is nice given the price. The restaurant does special little things such as giving you a choice of knives, mustard, and salt. Given the price point, there were high expectations and La Boucherie definitely met them. I ordered the escargot which comes with bone marrow. One of the bones was quite thick so the middle of the bone marrow had a slight red hue. We talked to the staff and the matter was resolved quickly and respectfully.

This steakhouse is on the 71st level of the Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown with an amazing view. We had a very nice table next to the window, wow!!! Steak was outstanding, also the sides and the appetizers ! Waiter was very good!

Told them it was our anniversary and wanted a secluded table if possible....I think they gave us the best seat in the house! The service amazing, and the food amazing and the view was out of this world! We would go back in a heartbeat! Ps....The Tomahawk is the way to go!
