Just had charcuterie service and drinks. Food was good but companion noted staleness of one meat
item. Service was respectable. View is outstanding. Don’t know that I would patronize regularly if
I lived in the area

Way overprice LTD for the quality of food. Portions are very small and no real wow factor as far as the food is concerned.

Really bad service. took over 50 min to get our dinner. My steak was really cold and there was no point to wait another 50 min for them to re-fire another. I had requested them to put candles on my dessert for my wife's B-Day and they said for sure and they did not. i had even requested it on open table. I expected a lot better for the amount I paid. Will not recommend to anyone.

Service was very good, but food was just average, especially considering the price. Tables are so small it feels like a lounge instead of a restaurant.

The staff was outstanding and most friendly. I took my wife here for her birthday and she loved it every minute. The view was breathtaking. I asked for a seat by the window and they honored my request. They brought my wife a birthday treat at the end of our dining and one of the staff members even took a picture of us with my phone. We tried Elk for the first time as a recommendation from the waitress and we loved it! We will definitely be returning soon!

Me and my 14yr old daughter celebrated my birthday there at the hotel... we had the best seats in the house, a table by the window that overlooked the L.A. night life... the staff was amazing at making us feel "fancy" for the night. Never did they make us feel out of place or uncomfortable... my daughter being pescitarian tried the duck and loved it.. thank you for making our mother daughter time memorable 💛

We got cozy table for two with spectacular view of city lights. Food was good but I would not say it was outstanding. I ordered rib eye which we both thought tasted like New York strip. Beat salad very good. Butternut squash soup good but portion was small. Lamb was good but not outstanding. Could use more of charred effect with more flavoring. Dessert indicated it included ice cream but we got sorbet. Waiter had to bring side of ice cream. Overall we had a good time.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and promotion; it was nothing short of amazing. The ambiance was relaxed and the view was to die for! The waiters were also very accommodating and knowledgeable about pairing condiments and drinks and where the best places were for taking pictures. We will definitely be back and will bring our families next time! Highly recommend this place.

Valentines dinner, was absolutely perfect. The restaurant is located in a highrise in DTLA, you take a private elevator to the 71st floor I think it was. We got the Starlight Booth, very private, service was excellent, ambiance, one of the most romantic table setups I've ever seen. Huge cylinder shaped seating area thats private and intimate. The view is incredible, about 10 feet right in front of the table is all windows so you see the city at night while dining. The chefs menu was delicious, but thought the food could be better for the price. Not saying it wasnt good, just expected more. All in all, I would totally recommend this place for any couple thats looking for a romantic dining experience. Make it a night to remember, get dressed up, grab her hand and go! You wont forget it!

We tried several appetizers and they were not very impressive. The beet salad was nicely plated, but the taste was very bland: I am not sure if they forgot the dressing. Octopus was a bit chewy for a restaurant of this quality. The steak tartare came with a hard boiled egg on top, and again the taste was bland. The honey comb service with chef's chosen charcuterie/cheese was a nice touch, but the charcuterie/cheese plate was only OK (very common cheeses and meats, that you can buy from any supermarket or Whole Foods).
The filet mignon, 42 day dry aged NY strip steaks, and rack of lamp were cooked perfect medium rare and were delicious. The sides on the other hand were not very impressive: brussels sprouts are actually shavings and oily; fries were just OK; spinach was also OK.
Probably not worth the expensive price tag even considering the gorgeous view since the same view is available in the hotel lobby which is only one floor lower.

While everything was great, the valet parking service was not. I always had my lights in AUTOMATIC, therefore there is no need to turn on the lights.
After many blocks the PD stopped me and advised me about that. The valet parking staff should not move the settings in the cars.
Thanks.

This was all out the best experience I ever had with staff and the ambience. I will definitely be back. Main reason was the staff. Excellent customer service to the "T" from explaining the taste of different mustards to the wonderful exciting taste of salts.. and not too mention specific knives to cut ur food... All in all, loved every moment of it..

Although the location has a nice ambiance and the staff are very helpful and kind, the experience is not worth the price. Dinner and drinks for over $700 for a party of 4. All of us ordered steaks that were under-seasoned (they do bring out a selection of novelty salts when the steaks come to the table, but that doesn't help to season the meat while it is being prepared), one of our "ribeyes" was definitely a New York strip; when our waitress was questioned about it she rejected the claim. The dry aged ribeye steak was not memorable at all (for $95 it should be). The side dishes were the best part of the meal. Their charcuterie was very nice with fresh honey off of a table side honey comb. Overall decent food and great drinks but not worth the surcharge of the location. There are plenty of other good steakhouses in this area to choose from. I will not return.

Our server was very nice and professional as was the staff. However food came out very slow as well as water and the wine, not sure if he was spread thin or not.

Food portions for the price are a joke and both dishes were not that good. The dessert was terrible and aside from the views I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Top notch on every account. The view is amazing! We had wonderful service and every staff member was warm and greeting. Our food was fabulous! We loved the caviar and steaks. The wine pairing was perfect and they even catered to our personal likes. We had the pleasure of sitting at a Starlight booth... worth every dollar!!
Also, go check out the rooftop bar😊 Cheers‼️🍸‼️🍷

I was there for the dineLA experience but I wasn’t offered that menu. However, I still enjoyed the version loin very much but the Brussels spouts wasn’t that spectacular. Service was excellent. It was also a rainy day so I wasn’t able to see the view even I was sit by the window. Certainly will go back again
