   Went there for my Mothers birthday. She loved the atmosphere, the energy and most of all the food! The servers are extremely personal and explained all the themed dishes to the table. It was quite the experience, we absolutely loved it!

   Fun atmosphere and good food. Would definitely visit again - so many menu choices. We had the Cuban Cesar salad which was excellent. The Cubano sandwich is enough for two people and the Cuban pork dinner was superb

   This is a fun and festive dining experience with some unique dining and drink options. This place is A MUST if visiting Louisville. My new favorite restaurant. Lots of Cuban flair.

   Wonderful food and service! I see why this place is busy! Be sure to have a reservation if you want to eat here. Absolutely delicious! I had the flank steak with chimichurri and the jamon croquettes. Would eat the same meal again!

    We always enjoy our visits to LA Bodequita de Mima. The authentic Cuban food is always excellent, a real joy. This was my birthday dinner and so good. The only issue was we requested bar seating at the bar. The restaurant kindly replied indicating no worries. Sadly, the bar was jam packed. Oh well, can't have anything. They brought chocolate birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Great! We'll be back soon!

    Interesting dishes and well prepared. Sangria for two was served in a huge cocktail glass for two with straws. Expected a pitcher but this was a fun surprise.

    We had a party of 8 (four couples) and I am not exaggerating when I say that all 8 of us absolutely LOVED everything we ordered; and I mean everything! We ate at many different restaurants in Louisville while on vacation and this was, by far, the favorite. We had one night left in town and we tried to go back before we flew home but there was no availability. You have to try the nachos on plantains (Cubanchos). This was a huge hit with everyone! The Ensalada Chevere with the goat cheese croquettes was outstanding, but a huge portion for one person. The Ropa Vieja Lata was probably the favorite entree of all. The flavors are incredible. Our service was extremely good and the ambiance is so much fun. Never dreamed we would leave Louisville talking on and on about this Cuban food!!

    This was a tough dining experience. The wait staff was unfamiliar with food restrictions and menu options. Unfortunately, there were very limited gluten-free options, which surprised me for an Ole restaurant. The food was good, the drinks were good, everyone had a great night, I was just surprised by the lack of knowledge and lack of options. Maybe make a GF option menu so the staff can just give the piece of the paper to someone who has questions?

    Sat outside on the patio but luckily they had the temporary walls up. The food was fantastic, live music was very good, service was stellar. Very busy and loud and an enjoyable experience.
