CELEBRATING 13 YEARS OF TAPAS!
Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso.
La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. La Boca also has another dining room, Taberna which plays live music Friday - Sunday. The knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez.

Our favorite place to eat in santa fe!``
Lovely back patio with live Spanish guitar player for an early Saturday dinner. Food was delicious and portions just right.
Really enjoyed the Eclectic menu. Wonderful blood orange sangria. Good service.
Had a delightful lunch outdoors. Great food and service. Large selection of Tapas and my husband had a great green chili cheese hamburger. Can’t wait to go back.
Waited 45 minutes for tapas order that never arrived.
A Santa Fe gem. Small and intimate. Great food and service. You won’t be disappointed.
Very nice staff! We had been eating our way through Santa Fe so we were already full when we had booked dinner unfortunately but we tried a few things off the menu and all of them were delicious.
It was very nice to dine outside the front of the restaurant. This was due to social distancing
My wife and I shared several tapas and a carafe of sangria. Everything was good but the price to value was definitely NOT there. This restaurant would not last one week in Spain
I am never disappointed with my experience at La Boca--imaginative, thoughtfully prepared food...friendly, professional service...convivial atmosphere. I will continue to dine at La Boca every time I'm in Santa Fe, and I will continue to encourage my friends to dine there, as well--Five stars from me.
Great atmosphere, covid safe, excellent service. I will be back
Best tapas I’ve ever had! Definitely order the eggplant!
I love this spot
Lovely service. Great outdoor patio and wonderful food. Prices are high and too many loud motorcycles, trucks, sports cars drive by.
We love LaBoca and have eaten here many times. They are surviving in this pandemic using outdoor seating on Marcy Street (literally) and while it was a beautiful Saturday night, the cars/motorcycles cruising by do make some noise. We didn't find it a big deal but maybe some people looking for a quiet, intimate experience might. If that bugs you, just make your reservations at their Taberna which is all the same (menu etc) and is in the back off the street. Food is consistently excellent here and the servers were efficient, socially distant and fun. We could eat there every night!
First time to visit La Boca this season and post-pandemic. We were with vegetarians so it was an ideal menu for all parties. Ironically we all ended up sharing the fried potatoes, the eggplant, shrimp with garlic, and summer corn polenta. Everything was super delicious and paired well with one of the many old-world red wines. It's our 3rd or 4th visit and a great option here in Santa Fe.
Love this place!!
An altogether lovely evening at La Boca. Outdoor seating was pleasant. Food was delicious. Our out of town guest remarked it was the best meal she had in Santa Fe!
Highly recommend the alcachofas and gambas a la plancha. Looking forward to our next visit.
It was perfect. I thought I had booked the patio by La Boca, but apparently you have to request that (remember for next time). So, we were seated at the patio by La Taverna, which wasn't where I wanted to be as it's too closed in. But, it turned out that a storm was coming in and it was the better choice as we were seated in a covered area and didn't get wet. I don't know what happened to those at la Boca under the umbrellas. My guess is they get a bit wet.
Aside from that. Great food. Good ambiance. Excellent service. Another lovely dinner, this one to celebrate my birthday which is coming in a couple of weeks.
go! You'll be treated well with happy people. The owner has definitely stayed ahead of the curve in addressing the COVID needs.
The outdoor dining area they have created for lunch in order to comply with New Mexico COVID-19 restrictions is pleasant. The food and service remain top notch.
We could not be more satisfied after a trip to la boca. The food and service were both 5 stars. Would definitely
recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe!
I love La Boca. It was a wonderful night out. Loved my front row seat to Sunday night cruising also love the tapas . U can continue ordering . All fabulous!. Recommend gambas a la plancha, steak with Carmel salt, and grilled artichokes all wonderful. Eat here!
We very recently had a date night at La Boca. This was at least our third time at La Boca. The service was attentive, but not obtrusive. The food, as always, was very good. We had a selection of tapas and dessert. Each dish was delicious, especially the tortilla espanola and the chicharrones. The wine we elected, a Spanish Tempranillo (crianza), was wonderful. I relied upon our server to select various Sherries for a flight sampler. Very nice! As an added bonus, there was a guitar player who provided wonderful music.
My favorite restaurant in Santa Fe, seems to be even better than pre COVID
This is a fantastic place to enjoy tapas! Reasonably priced wines and delicious food. Service was helpful and friendly. Simple ingredients prepared well. The full menu looks fantastic, but an abbreviated COVID menu left nothing to be desired!
The food is fabulous!! While in Santa Fe this is a must try restaurant!!
Amazing staff and wonderful food as always!!!!!!!!!
Great tapas. One of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe.
With the modifications required by coronavirus has lost much of its intimate European cafe charm. Outdoor seating in front for lunch seems to be managed with a notable lack of enthusiasm. Can't vouch for the patio later in the evening.
Wonderful chef, wonderful food!
They are managing social distancing we’ll. They are careful & disciplined in maintaining health standards. Kudos to the staff!
Always an amazing experience! We tried the flatiron steak and paella this time, and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best anniversary tapas places.
We had a wonderful lunch on the patio for our 50th anniversary. The food was delicious and well prepared.
Unfortunately, our dear friends had paid for a bottle of wine for our enjoyment for our anniversary that the restaurant forgot to let us know. That was a downside.
Excellent food and service! Had a wonderful birthday
they confirmed my reservation on open table but when I got there the restaurant wasn't open. made me look really stupid in front of my clients.
They were closed, despite our reservation being accepted.
We enjoyed a beautiful patio dinner that felt very safe and distanced from near by tables. Our waiter, Austin, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The food was excellent! The artichoke plate for start and the chocolate dessert were outstanding! We will definitely go back the next time in Santa Fe.
Always a GREAT dinner
Great food as always!
I'm just thrilled that la Boca has outdoor patio seating on the Marcy Street side now. It truly feels like Paris in Santa Fe and I hope it carries over post-quarantine. The food here is always excellent, the service quite reliable and what more can one want! I was sort of hoping their happy hour would return and, when I asked about it, was told it's coming back next week. A little price break makes it more affordable to stop by more often, or bring more friends since everyone is being a bit price cautious these days. Three of us shared three tapas - the grilled artichoke, NEW MEXICO FLATIRON STEAK and the GAMBAS AL AJILLO - plus vino. Delicious happy hour menu for us.
