La Belle Vie Kitchen
We took another couple here that had not been there before. They loved it!
perfect brunch spot! Had a great time hanging out with friends at nice quiet private patio area
Excelente food and ambiance. We enjoyed our dinner at the patio. We definitely come back again to try their brunch.
Wonderful dinner. This place is worth the extra $$$$. Brunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed.
The lobster omelet and the strawberry crepes were excellent! Service was fast and friendly. Loved our meal!
The service was okay. She was fantastic at refilling our coffees but that was about it. We had no silverware or napkins. We ordered the mini croissants - which arrived burnt. We didn’t complain and just ate them. I asked for rollups and was brought some napkins. We indicated we needed more time to order and then it took her about 10 more minutes to come back. We placed our order - food came and we had no silverware. After a couple of minutes we were able to flag her down and ask for silverware. She left again. I ordered the oxtail grit bowl - as I have in the past. It is typically fantastic. Today, not so much. My meal arrived cold. Fine. Decided everyone was busy so I would eat it. Then after my first bite - I realized I needed salt. It was SO bland. The grits were like semi dry cement consistency and had zero taste. The short rib was also cold and bland. Additionally it was not cleaned at all. So there were huge chunks of just fat. Which was gross. I get that short rib is a fattier piece of meat but this was nasty. There were also pieces of the tendon or connective tissue or something. It was not great. Decided with some salt perhaps I could just eat it. Finally was able to ask for some salt and I was brought a salt shaker that was so clogged nothing came out. We tried to unclog it and unscrew it with no success. My husbands prime rib melt was sad. There was prime rib on less than 2/3rds of the bun. I think he was given 15 fries. So we had brunt croissants, cold and unseasoned food, a really big bun that wasn’t filled, slow service and I left hungry. I never ate my meal. Maybe I took 2 bites. She didn’t even ask. When I asked for a box for the croissant I indicated I didn’t like the meal and did not want a box. She didn’t ask further and brought the check.
The service was very slow and the waitress had a poor attitude. The food was not as good as it normally is - we had to send 2 plates of eggs Benedict back because eggs were too well done. My sausage was also burnt. Overall not great.
I went to brunch with a friend. The food was fantastic. I only have a couple of complaints. We sat outside in the shade, which was very nice. However, and I know it seems petty, but our table was not stable and rocked back and forth when you leaned on it. This would only matter if you were drinking out of a champagne glass, which we were. We ended up asking for pint glasses for our bellinis so they didn't tip over. The other complaint is that they gave me a menu that had a plastic cover, but the paper inside very obviously was moldy. These little things take away from the overall experience, but I would still recommend this restaurant to friends.
Everything was wonderful, especially our server.
We sat at the bar. It took 10 minutes for someone to come over and offer us a drink. Once we got menus they told us that a few items were not available. I found it odd that they would not have the salads available for dinner. We found something else to order.
Birthdays - outside is pleasanr
La Belle Vie is both a neighborhood gem and a destination restaurant for all of Atlanta. We had a group of 12 and our server Betty handled our table with ease, a great attitude and excellent service. The food was wonderful as always! A quick note if you are looking for a fantastic brunch, La Belle Vie has one of the best on both Saturday and Sunday...
Brunch or dinner, we have found the food to be consistently delicious and innovative. The ingredients are fresh and not over-cooked. Make a reservation now, as the demand for unique cuisine in Suwanee is high.
Pleasant environment but very loud—had a hard time hearing one another—perhaps due to the concrete floors.
Food is great. Wine list could use more choices. Glad they are here nearby!
Great meal. We go often
A surprise hit! Great menu and everything we tasted was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other things. Service was really attentive and friendly. Lovely outside seating option.
Food was great and we got to select if we wanted inside or outside seating arrangement. Service was going well until our server forgot to come and pick up our check. After 15 minutes, we had to flag down someone to come and help us. Other than this hiccup, it was a good dining experience.
First off it took about 10 minutes for our server to get to the table and take our drink orders. My drink came out a good 5 minutes before the rest of the our party got theirs. We then ordered The food was good I just couldn't get what I wanted. I originally asked for the beef short rib and grits and I asked our server if they could hold the bacon since I do not eat pork. She advised that they could. After putting the order in she came back and said that the bacon was already cooked in it so I couldn't have the dish without it. So I then ordered the Oxtail and grits, the menu did not state that that dish had bacon in it but after our server put the order in she came back and said that it too had bacon in it. At that point I just ordered a burger that did not have bacon on it. I informed the manager of the issues and also about the menu not stating that there was bacon in the Oxtail dish. He said thank you and that was it. The burger that I got was very good may give them another try for dinner to see if that is better
So great to have another option in Suwanee besides Mexican or sushi! The first impression entering the restaurant was nice. The decor is simple French inspired. The waiter was a bit quirky but he got better as the dinner progressed. The food was very good as was the wine selection. The outdoor area needs a bit of a clean up as you can see it from inside. Looking forward to enjoying more dinners here.
Nice place. Large portions. Food is good. Personal pet peeve-season the chicken before you batter it, but still good.
Brunch with family and food was delicious !!! Service exceptional too. Certain to return when in town.
Enjoyed brunch at La Belle Vie Kitchen. The Eggs and Crab Benedict were amazing. Our waitress was extremely attentive and professional. Going back soon!
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with friends. We look forward to eating there again.
Great Dinner with Friends. Love this restaurant.
Excellent experience, customer service Was great! The food was hot and tasty.
Creative menu and good food. Service was friendly and efficient. We felt welcome when we arrived and the ability to have reservations for brunch was convenient. Besides being a bit noisy, we really enjoyed our meal.
Nice bar area with wide selection of cocktails. Small but quality wine list. Foie gras appetizer was delicious. We ordered the scallops and red snapper entrees both cooked perfectly. We’ll be back to try other items.
Great value in Suwanee. Fabulous service. Everyone should give it a try.
Love this place!
We sat outside and the service was terrible. Instead of having 1 waitress for all of outside, each outdoor table had its own waitress. It was hard to get anyone to come out!
Way too noisy! Asked for a quieter table, to no avail! Restaurant has nothing to absorb sound, much like a school cafeteria!
Delicious brunch with wonderful menu! It’s hard to find in this area! Fresh croissants, omelettes, French onion soup. Highly recommend!
Really loved everything about this hidden gem
Service was great. Food was amazing! Definitely loved the ambience. The lobster omelette was so good as well as the shrimp grits. Will definitely come again!
Our service was great. My only complaint was the drink I ordered with lemon and lavender was not good. Took forever for the bartender to make. I got it after my meal was finished and then it did not taste good.
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Will return!
We enjoyed our dinner at La Belle Vie. Our server, Jeremy, did a wonderful job…was attentive and engaging. The food was very good. Salads could have used a little more dressing and my Snapper dish was a little over-cooked…But overall, the six of us really enjoyed our meals. The French Onion soup is some of the best I’ve ever had…delicious! Dining room has a great feel and “buzz”…Maybe a little loud, so conversation at a large table becomes a little difficult…But it was nice to have dinner surrounded by others who were also enjoying the vibe.
We will be back and would definitely recommend.
Noise a little high. Food great.
Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere. A real neighborhood gem.
We shared the strawberries and cream crepe and the ham and cheese crepe…and both were amazing. The menu has so many brunch items that sound fantastic, that I made reservations for lunch next week already.
