Great service, food, and good vibes
If you go, ask for Lindsay's section!!! Incredibly knowledgeable and just a lovely person.
Great experience! The restaurant is so beautiful, food was delicious, and service was excellent- everyone from the hostess to the waitress to the valet was super nice!
Great experience, service was terrific from the moment we arrived until we left. We opted for the Restaurant Week menu and it didn’t disappoint, virtually everything we had was well prepared and presented. Our waiter and other staff kept our water and wineglasses full. This was our first visit to La Belle Helene, it won’t be our last!
This was our first time at La Belle Helene, and it won’t be the last! The venue is beautiful, the service top notch, and every detail is attended to...the food was authentically prepared and delicious! Highly recommended!
We had a great time. Everything was exceptional. We had a small mishap with a dessert we ordered and the server and the manager both apologized and offered to get me something else from the menu. The manager gave everyone at the table a complimentary dessert voucher for next time!!
The charcuterie board was my favorite thing from the night. Thank you la Belle Helene!!!
Incredible meal & drinks with great atmosphere & ambiance. Mike is an awesome waiter! First timers from out of town in town for Celine Dion concert. The perfect place to kick off a terrific evening. We had a great time & will be back soon. Next time coming just to eat here & bringing our husbands. Excellent!
The art deco influenced decor was a perfect match to the excellent food. The wait staff was charming and attentive. Valet parking was easy and friendly. Overall it was a lovely experience.
We had a wonderful dinner at La Belle Helene! The staff was very attentive and the food was outstanding!
We decided to try the Queens Feast 3 course dinner here, everything was good but portions small and underwhelming.
Went there for Brunch. Was greeted promptly. Had a 12:30 reservation and requested a booth. They didn't have a booth ready so we were offered one of the VIP room. Very noisy in the main dining area so it was quite refreshing to have our own private room that we could close the door. There was no music in the room so it was too silent. The server was nice and attentive, but seemed very busy. When the appetizers were removed, our table was not "marked" with new silverware so when our main entrees came out we had to wait 2 minutes to get silverware from the food runner. They were busy, the food was great especially the French Toast. I had the Avacado Toast, which was just enough for me. I would return.
Everything was amazing! Great staff and food. Can’t say enough. Very accommodating on such short notice when I messed up the reservation (put 2 instead of 4). Definitely made our evening and will be back very soon
We visited during the Queen’s Feast and were very pleased with the quality and quantity of food, and received outstanding service from every member of the staff. Ambiance is elegant, but not stuffy. If I had to find something to nitpick, profiteroles are my favorite dessert in the world, but these didn’t knock my socks off. We’ll return!
My husband and I went to La Belle Helene during restaurant week on a Saturday night and were very pleased. The restaurant is beautiful. The food, drinks and service were outstanding. Highly recommended. It was our first visit and it will not be our last!
Went for Restaurant week. Appetizers were not the best. Main course boef was delicious. Desserts were to die for.
Reservations were 9pm and they didn’t sit us until 9:20
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing , our service was great. I think it was Marie or Maria as our server, loved her. We do not get a lot of dinner dates with having a 1 yr old. We thoroughly enjoy yourself and will be back.
Lindsey was amazing ❤️❤️❤️. Able to accommodate special food needs. Amazing will be back many many times!
This was our first visit and we will surely be back. The service was great. Yenni took very good care of us and made us feel special.. The food was very good and we enjoyed our lunch.
Really wonderful service! Food was great
It’s my 3rd time here and I usually love it when I sit at the bar, but this time they brought me all the wrong sides, wrong bottle of wine that she was about to open if I hadn’t caught it, the steaks were all overcooked, and the cake felt old. It was not a good experience.
Brunch was excellent as usual with great mimosas, pastries, and smoked salmon and lobster roll plates. La Belle Hélène serves fabulous oysters. Service was attentive even with Sunday crowd.
Would not recommend for Brunch.
There was a pop up opera event which we wish we had known about when booking.
Our server, Lyndsey, was terrific. This is the third time I’ve had a French martini here and this one didn’t measure up. No egg white fizz that made the first one so delicious. The cheese selections for our cheese board were outstanding.
Yenni was our server and she went above and beyond to make certain our date night in the “big city” was perfectly lovely. We drove from Asheville where I work in a European influenced bakery. (So I tend toward French restos, but also can be picky). Yenni walked that fine line between giving us space and being present and fun at just the right time. Her wine and food knowledge was en pointe, and I was thrilled with the entire evening. Charlotte is lucky to have this restaurant and most especially this skilled server.
Wonderful service and food was amazing! Always a flawless dining experience ⭐️
Celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and it was our first time trying La Belle even though I was a little hesitant in doing so, my fiancé wanted to try it for her birthday. The appetizers (shrimp cocktail and crab claws) were just okay (shrimp) and not good, almost frozen (crab claws). The chicken liver mousse was really good though. My fiancé had the duck and was satisfied and I enjoyed the burger, which was great. The trumpet mushrooms were okay, but the asparagus and the french fries were great. Service was awesome, I did find it odd that a manager never came by the table to ask how the evening or the food was. Overall, it was good but not great, especially for the price. Nice to try but I don’t think I will be going back.
Top spot in Uptown Charlotte for a business lunch in a Parisian-style brasserie.
Food, service ambience was excellent however sone dishes over priced. Quantity served was good.
Everything was great! We decided to eat at the bar! I gave them 4 stars on service because the bartenders seemed to get distracted! Not bad service but could have been better! I’m one of those that doesn’t like my wine glass to get empty!😂😂😂
Just wonderful most impressed with my Vegan meal. Absolutely amazing. Was hopeful I would eat something decent.was absolutely blown away
Server Jordan was a pleasure; best thing about the experience.
We are from Chicago and picked La Belle on a whim. It was excellent. No complaints at all. We had the steak frites (hanger steak med rare) - delicious. The scallops were wonderful - creative sauce and ingredients. We also had an appetizer of the tartlet (more like a flat bread, but still delicious). We finished with both the chocolate mousse and the creme brûlée. It wasn’t overly busy, but our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommended!
We had an excellent New Year's dinner this week. We ate WAY too much but it was all amazing. Escargot and seared foi to start. Then we had the dinner special with a delicious blue cheese souffle and perfectly cooked and tender prime rib. A bottle of Savigny-Les-Beaune to wash it all down. How can you beat that?
Food was fantastic and service was even better! We will be back!
Outstanding food and service.
