   We love sitting in the little booth. There were four of us and it's like our own little cocoon. The restaurant is just gorgeous and great atmosphere. I also commend you the way you built your bathrooms.

   We always love dining at the most beautiful restaurant in Charlotte (IMO). We had a welcome lunch for one of our new team members and the food, as always, was fantastic. The ambience and beautiful design are my ultimate favorites. Service was a bit slow but I certainly understand the continual staffing shortages, etc. I hope to always be able to recommend this absolutely must-visit spot.

   The restaurant's decor and ambiance are impressive. Food is very good. We went with a group mid week, and service was a bit slow because they didn't have enough servers - which is pretty much standard everywhere these days. Will definitely go back!

   We had a delightful meal at 5 pm on Sunday before a 7 pm concert at Belk. A big shout-out to Collin who was a wonderful server! The food was amazing; don’t miss the French Onion Soup and Arugula Salad.

    Great place. Will go back. If I had one critique, the service was great but too fast. While enjoyable, we were in and out in 1hr. Would have to slow it down and enjoyed it for a little longer. But everything else was great.

    Beautiful restaurant, nice atmosphere, food did not meet our expectations. Oysters were not shucked to order, they were very dry . Couldn’t finish my French onion soup , very little broth was mostly onions,and the list goes on for the entrees .. Kudos to the Pastry chef, just excellent dessert!

    Delicious food. Good wine list. Cordial staff. Would recommend for business lunch or dinner as the decibel level allows for ray to hear conversations. Well spaced tables, too.

    We went to La Belle Helene frequently during the pandemic but had not been in a while. A friend and I attended a concert uptown and I suggested we go there. I like they have a new prix fixe menu that has 3 courses. We started with oysters on the half shell which were very fresh. We each had the French onion soup which was rich and hot for the chilly weather. My friend had the Porchetta and I had the boeuf bourginion and both entrees were excellent. The dessert was house made as well and was a great ending to a wonderful meal. We also enjoyed a bottle of French wine which paired well with our dishes. We will be back sooner this time! Overall a very enjoyable experience.

    I visit your restaurant about every other month when I'm in Charlotte. Sunday 3/12 seemed like an off day. We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time and weren't given advice on why. Our French 75s were basically sparkling wine. It's such a great cocktail and it was disappointing that care was not taking to make them correctly. They were even served in wine glasses rather than the standard coupes and flutes. Our server was very nice and we acknowledged her and the kitchen through a 20%+ tip. So, all good and hopefully whatever strain you're experience is resolved soon

    I was excited to have brunch with friends and heard good things about this restaurant. We made a reservation for 12:30, but we were not seated until after 1:10. We were told that they were waiting for seated parties to get up. If they can accommodate reservations then they should not accept them. While waiting, there is no inside waiting area. The only option we had to sit while waiting was outside. However, it was rainy and cold. The hosts never checked in with us while we waited and we continued to watch people walk in after us get seated. We were only a party of 3 so it wasn't like we were a huge party that needed to be accommodated. We were never told the bar was an option while we waited. Once FINALLY seated, no one was warm or inviting. When we asked for simple things like cream and sugar for coffee it felt like we were inconveniencing our server. The food quality was not what I expected based on the pricing. I will not visit the establishment again.

    Fantastic and friendly service. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and unpretentious. Every item we ordered was served one at a time, and split for us to share without any up-charge; so much better than all the "tapas" restaurants when everything is thrown on your table even if it's already full and nothing goes together. There are plenty of great options for delicious food in Charlotte, but the service here was incredible.

    The ambience was excellent. Colin, our server, was excellent. Very attentive and appropriately interactive. Very impressed! You should open up a place in Cary! We would tell our friends and would be some of your regulars!

    Corinne was a lovely and attentive server! The trout was dry but the rest of our dishes were good. It was our anniversary but that was not acknowledged in any way despite it being in our reservation. We are visiting from california so a small gesture for our anniversary would have been nice.

    We let them know in advance we’d have small children with us and we also booked an early dinner at 5pm. They sat us in a private room that was very sound proof and perfect for keeping us contained and isolated from the rest of the restaurant. 5 stars for that alone. The food was pretty good. The ambiance was very classy. Service was very accommodating. We’d go back if we’re in Charlotte again.

    Our experience at La Belle Helene was excellent, from service to food and ambiance. We got the 3 course dinner and every dish was visually stunning and packed with flavor. Best food I've had in a long time. Our server was outstanding—she made our night that much more amazing. My husband and I were extremely impressed from start to finish. We plan to come back again to sit at their beautiful bar, as well!

    This was our second time dining here - such a beautiful restaurant, and the wait staff is exceptional. There aren't many gluten free options, but otherwise, the menu is very deep and lots of wine selections. The cocktails are excellent. Not giving 5 stars this time simply because they ran out of one of only two GF desserts even though we ordered on the Prix Fixe menu at least an hour before we were informed they were out. It was one of the reasons we selected this restaurant - a craving for the Lemon Citron dessert, which is out of this world! So, we were a bit disappointed. Will definitely go back, and it's a great option for a special occasion, business dinner, or just a Tuesday when you feel like being in a pretty place with great food!

    I received a gift card for Christmas and was treating my friends. The lunch was exceptional. Best French onion Soup I ever ate. The Croque Monsieur was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She checked on us occasionally.

    Excellent meal! Everything we had was delicious. Le Citron is one of my all-time favorite desserts. The Boeuf Bourguignon was succulent and rich. What a treat!

    We went for a ladies bunch and the pineapple mimosa’s were perfect, caviar topped deviled eggs were our favorite, and the ambiance was elegant. We were all pleased with our meals for the most part but it was nothing overly exciting. I had bananas foster French toast and while the choice of bread was on point, I’ve still made better at home. My group all agreed that while we enjoyed ourselves, we don’t have to make another trip back but, then again maybe we should just to see if we’d be more excited and impressed with dinner.

    Our server (Corrine?) was so lovely, knowledgable, and expert in her assessment of our pace and what we wanted out of our experience. The physical space is GORGEOUS and we loved the freestanding banquet intimate but amidst the energy. Food was impeccable. A true delight. Thank you!
